wondering what metal on the main gear do they use on the shallow spool version??? Aluminium or Brass???

Shallow Metanium has Aluminum. Unless you buy the USDM Metanium MGL which I believe is brass gearing. The Bantam should have brass gearing also :) Hope this helped your question :)

I heard people say 23 spool don't fit in the 22 and 20 version or vice versa.

I have all 3 and yes, they are all interchangeable.
