Galena or Sphalerite? Chemical Analysis Rock and Mineral Identification

I collected these specimens in quartz from the area around an old and closed and filled lead mine. They look similar but vary somewhat in the darkness of the color. Are they the same stuff or different??? Are they galena? Are they sphalerite? I will try some wet chemistry tests to find out.
