About the 'shakiness'...Aaron Neville has a *vibrato*, very distinctive, very effective, often used in instrumental and vocal music to add expression and warmth.
Aaron is NOTORIOUS for his tremelo (shaky part) in his voice....it's part of his style...and some of his songs: it's VERY pronounced....but, I LOVE this duet with them - SO GOOD!! :)

Aaron Neville (pronounced locally as Nevil) has sung with his brothers since 1976. Yes, his vibrato doesn't sound like anyone else, but people love him.
Linda & Aaron did several duets together over the years, some really beautiful stuff. Their voices blended together in a magical way. The Neville Brothers band is a New Orleans treasure and a musical institution, very famous. Thanks for sharing this one. 🙂

Like many others commenting here, you two are a joy to watch. I agree with you about Linda Ronstadt’s amazing voice. She has the voice of an angel and the power to project it to the world. Aaron Neville’s voice is also in a class of its own and the combination of their two voices create a sound that is heavenly. They were so convincing when performing this that people speculated that they were in love with each other even though Aaron had been happily married to his wife, Joel, since 1959 and Linda was dating others. Anyway, they collaborated on this song and several others for Linda’s 1989 album, “Cry Like a Rainstorm Howl Like the Wind”. They won 2 Grammy Awards for their duets. Thanks for your appreciation of these wonderful artists. You both are truly a pleasure to watch 🥰 🌺✌️
