In the 1990's, I was married to a Los Angeles Sheriff's deputy who worked in these areas. Within months of graduating from the academy, he had these types of tattoos - one on his calf and one on his bicep. Additionally, he was written up for "excessive use of force" multiple times and FINALLY was relieved of duty (with pay!) after years of excessive force.
At home, he was out of control too. Our marriage ended in divorce.

This was all media hype to get the Sherrif out of office for going against the grain. Alex Villanueva is out of office, and Robert Luna is the new sheriff, ask yourself how many L.A County deputies have been relieved of their duties since Luna took office... ZERO. What happened to all the media coverage on the deputy gangs? No longer headline news.

To this day I’m glad my friends and I stuck by eachother that night and didn’t crack at that cops attempts of escalation

Before bodycams these cops in LA would literally "Rodney King" people all the time. For whatever reason, they could just not like your "look", "attitude" they could even wrongly assume you're someone else or in a gang.

I’m sure they all assumed I was gang affiliated. The back ground check cleared I was clean, lie detector passed, references were good and supported my claims and they still didn’t consider me. I have always done the right thing in my life even if I knew it would turn people against me. Sad, I really wanted to help my community.

Remember Sheriff Baca and his second in command, Tanaka were Vikings. One of the most racist gangs in the sheriff department. I remember not to long ago I was driving down Vermont Ave in South Los Angeles when a sheriff car pull in front of me and slowed down dramatically to where I had to brake hard to avoid hitting them. They then proceeded to slow down almost to a crawl. I stayed behind them for a while they drove 10 mph I was too scared to switch lanes. After a while of driving in that manner I switch lanes. They then jumped back in front of me and slammed on their brakes again and repeated the same thing. So I just stayed behind them all the way to my destination. I have no doubt they were trying to provoke me into something that would have left me beaten to a pulp, Dead or in jail on some bogus charges. We use to have a FBI that take down these criminals but nothing have been done.

I still have a lot of family living in L.A. I grew up in the North County of San Diego. Before I left for Arizona, around 1979, my cousins would talk about gangs such as this among the Sheriffs. I dismissed it as a myth. We moved back to CA, in 2000 (not to L.A.) and my cousins still tell me about gangs in law enforcement, but now with personal experience added. What a mess that is. Whenever I watch those Cop Watcher videos, those auditors actually tell the aggressive Sheriffs if they are gang members. Since they have cameras, they get the same smirk as the ones in this video. Out here in Riverside County, we have offered to buy coffee for the local Sheriffs (we have a cafe, four doors down from us) and what we get is disrespectful laughing and words like "No way" "Yeah sure" but no "No Thanks". To be fair, there are plenty of good guys around here, but these officers with the attitudes, are still a small group, and stick out like a sore thumb. I really hope that is not the case in Riverside County.

He got a business card from every officer he tattooed, & whenever he found himself on "questionable ground," legally, he'd whip out that stack of business cards & all his troubles would disappear, kinda like a "Get Out of Jail Free" card. You "escape" to increase your chances for survival. You may make it, or you may not. But you take the opportunity while its available.
Police have become predatory animals and answer to no one. You don't have to agree with me; you do have to comply with police, even though you know your life is in danger.
You do have a desire to continue living, do you not?
So do the people who run. You love cops, ok. Keep living your life. Do exactly as you're told. They took her a half hour away and 2 miles into some woods, raped her and left her. They told her they would kill her family if she talked. She wandered in the woods for two days before some teen agers camping found her. They got here help and did a rape kit on her. People would be wise to have a look at the huge amount of material about the afterlife, much of which has come out of the near-death experience (NDE) that many people have had, primarily because advanced medical practices enable doctors to bring some "dead" people back to life. All of these people have a similar story - that death does not exist and that everyone is held accountable for every action that they took in life, good (for which one is rewarded) and bad (for which they will have to make amends). There is justice in the universe.

My car was in the mechanic shop for a short period of time. I used Uber to get around. I had a driver a black fit heavy set looking guy. During the drive. He had told me he was a cop from Chicago for a certain amount of year. He did become a cop in LA but said and I quote “there’s too much politics here” In Chicago and the amount of years he has of experience. He eventually got the right to not need a partner to ride with him. Apparently that wasn’t the case in LA. He didn’t wanna tell me more into it but I can see why.

They always ride in pairs with no exceptions. I'm pretty certain it's a departmental policy. I guess that's the politics he was referring to.

Anyone is gonna run? Yeah, right! Every "Fast" Station has a clique. ELA, Lennox, Carson, Compton and the first Sheriff Station, Firestone. I spent 10 years at Lennox and though the clique was "The Grim Reapers", I never saw any wrong doing by them. All the Deputies in the cliques hide their tattoos on their ankle. All of these "Fast" Stations are generally in high crime areas which are Hispanic and Black. In 10 years at Lennox, we only had 1 fatal shooting when a Black Muslim tried to take a Deputy's gun. To get promoted to a coveted position like SEB (SWAT), Homicide, ESD (Emergency Service Detail, etc...You have to come from a "Fast" Station. Slower Stations like Marina Del Rey and Lomita get no respect but I understand why. I transferred to Lomita to be closer to home. The Deputies and Training officers had no clue on how to handle serious incidents, but it was uncommon for anything serious to happen. It was so bad, I requested a 1 man car because I didn't want to work with them.

    Ive known Banditos.
They are just like any infamous gang/motorcycle club. In fact, I hooked up with one of their daughters. He treated me like family until we started hanging out with different groups of friends. Before that, he offered us beer and weed starting at 14-15yrs old…was always invited to barbecues, etc.
Once his daughter & I went our separate ways, I was beaten when being searched at 16…Cop’s reason? He “thought he smelt weed”…so he punched me in the face, while my hands were up.
I was a skater in a small town, so the only trouble I had ever been in was little things, like “skating where I wasn’t supposed to”…to this day, never arrested for violence, or any such things. No felonies.
At 17, I was strip searched by two officers with a friend of mine on the side of the road at 3am. They desperately wanted to find “cocaine” on us, because my friend had a little baggie that originally had a button in it, in his jacket pocket. They were acting like dope fiends. “Wheres the coke? Where’s the coke? C’mon guys, we know you have it, where is jt?” They made us expose ourselves, and shone their flashlights on our genitals, and tried to demean us by “comparing our size” to each other.
I had guns pulled on me twice, and had an officer threaten to charge me with “felonious assault on an officer”, “ruin my life”, and “no-one would know the difference…but [he] would…and [he’d] smile doing it”.
This was all the same police department. I left that town when I turned 20.

It's a no brainer that one revolves around the other. The victim's family needs to keep in mind of a possible hit or perceived threat a gang or individual entity had and put these cops to work. Those things are ALREADY PROVIDED with your Badge, your uniform, your gun, and the INTENT to perpetuate, and protect others in activity that is quite extremely comparable to the very definition of what a "Gang" is known to be. UNACCOUNTABLE power, involving matters of life and death, no matter who holds it (historically such unaccountable power is typically held by a king/queen and their army OR a dictator/despot and his 'security ' forces...henchmen), is very strongly associated with societal collapse (AKA: break down of ALL 'law and order'...and/or lawlessness and/or mob rule). History also tells us that the more widespread/endemic the problem is/becomes, the more imminent that collapse is likely to be.

All I would like to say is this; if there's evidence of deputy gangs, and those gangs still exist under Villanueva's leadership, then the people need to re-elect a different Sheriff, as it starts at the top, If Villanueva gets re-elected it's the peoples fault, go out and VOTE, re-elect a new SHERIFF!!

They are the ones who own the helicopters and police cars, ans protect the facilities that "guard" the votes on Election Night. The power play would never allow an outsider to change a system so entrenched on favoritism, nepotism, and corruption.

Law enforcement should not have an option to turn off video or sound AT ALL on the body cams, take the buttons away to do so.

Can you say qualified immunity? I have arrested dirty cops and prosecuted them in the federal courts and the courts refuse to enforce the law on cops but they needed a justification so they coined the term qualified immunity.

@@jakeolthof more now than ever cops are being prosecuted and the charges are sticking- for serious crimes like rape, murder, assault, drug trafficking etc. Cops can’t hide behind qualified immunity all the time.. and it’s becoming harder all the time.

@@PiXie232 You're right If you murdered somebody a couple of years ago there was only a one in million chance that a cop would be prosecuted, now there's a 1 in 900,000 chance,I guess that's progress but that means there's millions and millions of cops that won't be prosecuted and that the only way justice can be served is that if a gang member puts a bullet in their head.

    Simple solution
Inspect all officers tattoos and fire all with the gang tattoos.
If they refuse to show their tattoos fire them for refusal
