This so much resembles the Elie Manitoba tornado in 2007. You got one of the best tornadoes to film this year. Best ones I got were Wakita and Jericho, but I would have rather seen this one and the Campo Colorado tornado. Great video.
This is the kind of video I could find all the time. Other people switch scenes too often so you can't sit back and watch the tornado as if you were there. Great video!
Agreed, two cameras and two tripods. It's amazing how something so beautiful on one side is so horrifying on the other. The contrast is amazing. If you look around on TH-cam you can see this very tornado looking black and ominous from folks who filmed it looking West.
beautifully done, love the speed-ups to save time and the inception of the funnel at the beginning is terrific, contrast between lovely summer day and monster tornado is breathtaking- love the background radio warnings and then they go back to music! well done!!!
I was reading the report that they had I guess I pressed the button that was talking and I was trying to give you know a little hard to someone else I'm sorry you misunderstood I storm has nothing to do with us at all this storm is an elementary With us
I filmed a tornado in Texas with my phone and I'm glad it had a video stabilization feature due to my hands shaking like a leaf on a tree! Great video, thanks for posting it and for filming this tornado in its entirety; there wasn't a dull moment.
I was living in Moorhead, Minnesota at this point. I think the same system brought one or two tornadoes to the Cass/Clay County area that night as well.
Crazy to see something somewhat close to where I live. Oddly enough, lived up here my whole life and have never seen a tornado in person. And props to your tornado music! Best kind to get your blood pumpin!
Your capture of this tornado is incredible and you're right the lighting is beautiful. Hi5 to you and please do continue your good work. I appreciate you sharing this and want to thank you for one of the most spectacular displays of mother nature. The drill bit comparison was right effin on, wow! Thanks again and be blessed on your journeys!!! Totally Awesome!
I was imagining that your windshield wipers were Tommy Lees drum sticks as it played. Only way you could have imitated his late 80's drumming more would involve the tornadoes cooperation. Because he was raised on his drumming platform far above the stage and played on as his drum set and him spun like a state fair ride upside down and all. So I figured we'd just say no to that right off the bat! Great tornado footage!
You like to listen to music when you "chase", even speeded up it seemed more like a tornado amble. I'm astonished when you say you were "too excited to take time out and grab the tripod!" It seemed more like disinterest to me. OK about this tornado, awesome man! It's beautiful and your footage is superb. Don't apologise for being kind enough to share so much of it with those of us not able to hunt them down ourselves. We appreciate it, so keep 'em coming! Glad to hear no-one hurt during this!
Are you 100% sure this thing was not moving? Sometimes if a tornado looks like it's not going left to right, or vice versa, it's actually coming right at you. I hope you had a radar handy to confirm that it was stationary.
Thanks. I was a blessed man to find this incredible product of nature. One of my favorite features is the rope-out at the end. If you look closely you can see a column of air pushing down the rope. I've never seen or heard of anything like that before. Agreed on the editing. Someday when I have beast of a video editing machine I'm going to stabilize and make it more 'artistic'. Thanks again.
Very amazing tornado footage, love the colour changes of the funnel and the contrast. It sits stuck sometimes for quiet a while. Lots of debris, some damage allright.
I hate to this, but gorgeous footage. Beautiful light of day. This is a classic twister to watch. I pray that its path caused less harm due to location.
Keith thank you so much for sharing this incredible act of God with the rest of the world. I saw a "white" tornado about 25 years ago up close be fore the video age. It to was incredible to see. Again thank you so much.
Apparently we get quite a lot every year mostly in the south and east-midlands but they're usually tiny by comparison. One badly damaged a row of houses in Birmingham in 2005.
wow you are brave, I have never in my life seen a tornado this is something else, I hope i never have to live the life of one either, I have seen high winds but nothing like this, you have some fine footage, and yes again you are very brave!
I agree this is defiantly the most high quality, best over all footage of a tornado I have ever seen on youtube! This defiantly deserves more views, all the footage that comes up when you type in tornado or storm chasing video is all garbage, it comes up because it has the most views. Amazing storm videos like this stay underground. :(
No need to apologise! I really enjoyed your video. You were in an ideal spot with n ideal ornado. It was slow moving, well formed and you filmed it nicely. At the end it looked like a landspout (I guess the cloud stopped rotating?). Really nice footage! Thanks.
Tornadoes in my area (PA) are often rain wrapped due to the type of storms we typically get (squall lines more often then individual supercells). Either way, it seems that a tornado in an almost totally rain free part of the storm, like this, is quite a bit more rare than a tornado obscured by rain or totally wrapped in it.
Oil pump in the background? Bon Jovi all da way! And nice structure! Thanks for the nice photogenic tornado, looks like it didn't cause too much damage...I like tornados out in fields. I hate to see peoples' lives destroyed by one though. Good video!
in my whole life i will never seen a tornado in reality because soon i will be die.thanks to internet and you tube and many many thanks to my favorite country U.S.A.god bless U.S.A.
This would be my "perfect tornado" to see: well defined, tall, white, debris, drillbit, slow moving, start-to-end footage and all in plain sight. I envy thee!
If you read the NWS report (link in the description), supposedly it actually tracked 5 miles throughout the life of the tornado. I believe it looked like it was standing still because it was mostly moving away from me.
I love the way you started singing, LOL, but great video man!! Thanks, oh yeah you need to go to Idol and maybe you can get singed on to a record company
I don't know if anyone else noticed, but one of the raindrops that hit the windshield on the middle right-hand side at around 0:03 left a strangely heart-shaped pattern. Funny how things like that just seem to accidentally catch my eye, sometimes.
Such good chase music. For those who don't know, the songs played are Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart Journey - "Lovin Touchin Squeezin"
Unbelievable footage! Did you get lucky and stumble on this or did you have a chaser's instinct and knew where to look? Either way you were in the right place at the right time and got some awesome footage. Chase safely!!!
Nice one. You almost need two cameras. One showing the whole tornado, and the other, showing the action at the bottom where it is touching the ground. That seems to be the most interesting part, then cuts to the whole tornado etc. I like the way the sun is shining, birds are chirping on the sunny side, then all hell is breaking loose where the tornado is. Interesting contrast between the two elements.
Wonderful footage! Really wish we had such dramatic weather over here in England, rather than constant, dreary rain! A little amazing weather every now and again would certainly bring us something to look at other than grey buildings and grey skies!
If you look at bing maps you can actually see the damage path in their imagery. The obvious portion of the path looks to be a good 4 miles, so considering it weakened and roped a couple time 5 is probably right. It also looked to be around 250 yards wide based on the tree damage after hitting the first house.
My one and only tornado experience was when I was at my cousins for the summer, we went to the fair but the sirens started going off. My uncle brought us to McDonalds to get food (LOL) and then we saw the tornado forming. Coolest thing ever. When it went back up, we went back to the fair to check it out and everyone was taking the rides down. And just an hour before, it was sunny. Minnesota weather changes so fast.
how can you be so calm? do you know that it won't come your way or something? What if it just came right at you! i've never seen one so idk but they look RLYY scary to me
Okay so I realize not everyone knows their facts about tornadoes, it doesn't need to be "dark" and when people are driving towards the tornado we should thank them for getting such awesome videos!
holy crap! thats so cool how you you filmed the tornado acutally BECOMING a tornado! man i would kill to see something like this in person! that is... if i was far enough away and had a way of escaping incase anything went wrong......
This so much resembles the Elie Manitoba tornado in 2007. You got one of the best tornadoes to film this year. Best ones I got were Wakita and Jericho, but I would have rather seen this one and the Campo Colorado tornado. Great video.
one of the most beautyful tornados i´ve seen, but .... get a tripd ;)
Nice choice of music! Bon Jovi and Motley Crue are great!
Yellowfang213 seems we have similar taste in music as well as area codes
This is the kind of video I could find all the time. Other people switch scenes too often so you can't sit back and watch the tornado as if you were there. Great video!
Agreed, two cameras and two tripods. It's amazing how something so beautiful on one side is so horrifying on the other. The contrast is amazing. If you look around on TH-cam you can see this very tornado looking black and ominous from folks who filmed it looking West.
I love Carmela why wouldn't I want to hurt Camella
beautifully done, love the speed-ups to save time and the inception of the funnel at the beginning is terrific, contrast between lovely summer day and monster tornado is breathtaking- love the background radio warnings and then they go back to music!
well done!!!
Agreed, that is THE most beautiful tornado on TH-cam! Thanks a lot for risking your life to get this great footage!
This is a great video, I'm glad you did not shorten it. There's many tornado vids out there but few show the intensity like this.
This is some of the best footage I've seen. It had a textbook structure, and was frontlit by the sun for excellent visibility. Nice work!
Awesome Footage!! Bravo and nerves of steel. Loved the music beginning of the video 😉😁👏👏🌪⛈. Thankfully No One Injured
That was really well filmed Keith. Thank you for the footage..Amazing tornado. I hope no person was hurt.
I was reading the report that they had I guess I pressed the button that was talking and I was trying to give you know a little hard to someone else I'm sorry you misunderstood I storm has nothing to do with us at all this storm is an elementary With us
This is the most beautiful most awesome tornado footage I've ever seen!

Beautiful footage! You captured the whole cell rotating. I'm happy to hear no one was injured.
Wow. Incredible views! Thanks for uploading.

Thank you! It was an amazing experience and I couldn't bring myself to cutting it down. I'm glad you respected this.
Are you 100% sure this thing was not moving? Sometimes if a tornado looks like it's not going left to right, or vice versa, it's actually coming right at you. I hope you had a radar handy to confirm that it was stationary.
This video is making me nauseous.
I was trying to tell you how to protect yourself
LOVE the sounds at 2:40. Those alert buzzes get my heart racing!!
I am so glad you shut the music off. There is a time and place for that and that wasn't either. Your footage is most excellent!
Best video of a tornado I have EVER seen! You sir, are awesome!
Looks like a ladder to heaven at the end! Great footage! Hope everyone in the area stayed safe!
This may be the most beautiful, awesome tornado I've seen on TH-cam yet. Well done.
God Bless. Have a great day. Thanks a ton for complementing my country, rarely see a foreigner saying something positive about the USA.
wow, thank,s for posting it was beautiful , and exiting all at the same time loved it !
Came by to say hi, and wow!!! What a shot! I am an earth science teacher and I am using this one to show my classes!!
Beautiful tornado, Thanks for the great footage!
the amazing beauty of something that distructive is disturbingly mind blowing
great upload

Dudes so calm and i love how long it takes to issue a waring hopefully we will be able to tell sooner sometime in the future
this is one of the best tornado video on yu tube!! this video shows the tornado from the beginning to the end..
Very amazing tornado footage, love the colour changes of the funnel and the contrast. It sits stuck sometimes for quiet a while. Lots of debris, some damage allright.
when they're not destroying anything too extreme, tornadoes are quite beautiful and hypnotic.
I hate to this, but gorgeous footage.
Beautiful light of day.
This is a classic twister to watch.
I pray that its path caused less harm due to location.
Great video Keith, well done on capturing it. Leigh.
Thanks for the nice comment! Think it took about three years of active chasing to get it. Stay safe!
Thank you for enjoying!
Keith thank you so much for sharing this incredible act of God with the rest of the world. I saw a "white" tornado about 25 years ago up close be fore the video age. It to was incredible to see. Again thank you so much.
I love how the radio is telling people to go indoors and he was just standing there and filming the tornado!
Wow, amazing footage man. That is the most beautiful tornado I've ever seen!
Absolutely beautiful to see the sun shining on it. Amazing 😁
Apparently we get quite a lot every year mostly in the south and east-midlands but they're usually tiny by comparison. One badly damaged a row of houses in Birmingham in 2005.

Wow! Keith, that is a fantastic tornado video. Great job!!
Very beautiful and photogenic tornado. You were in the perfect spot.
Amazing structure too.
Music is good too. I listen to rock too. Music today just sucks.
I agree this is defiantly the most high quality, best over all footage of a tornado I have ever seen on youtube! That was one of the best tornado videos I've ever seen.
Insane. I've never seen one stay in one spot for so long.
Wow incredible, the colors are amazing. Nice footage.
Thanks!
beautiful tornado. amazing footage. love how close u were.

I for one like all music! Well except the 50s & 60s. That's my hell! But your music I love so I actually turned it up! 😁
Oil pump in the background? Bon Jovi all da way! And nice structure! Thanks for the nice photogenic tornado, looks like it didn't cause too much damage...I like tornados out in fields. I hate to see peoples' lives destroyed by one though. Good video!
Thats great footage cheers. Bonus @ 0:38 the windscreen wipers are like the drumsticks going off to the heavy metal music ;-)
Epic tornado, Excellent coverage (especially using an iPhone). My hat is off to you sire!
epic music along with an awesome tornado, love these things put feel so bad for those in its path/wake.
in my whole life i will never seen a tornado in reality because soon i will be die.thanks to internet and you tube and many many thanks to my favorite country U.S.A.god bless U.S.A.
Give your whole life to Christ before you die..live for him and read your scriptures daily if possible..you will be glad you did..🌝
Great video...thank you for sharing!🤗😁🤗😁🤗😁
This would be my "perfect tornado" to see: well defined, tall, white, debris, drillbit, slow moving, start-to-end footage and all in plain sight. I envy thee!
The link that you include shows some interesting photos of the damages. Makes the area look like a wind blown war zone.
this is one pretty twister, ive never seen a white twister before.great footage, btw love the song.
What a pretty tornado. Knowing there wasn't a lot of damage or people hurt, you can actually enjoy it.
If you read the NWS report (link in the description), supposedly it actually tracked 5 miles throughout the life of the tornado. I believe it looked like it was standing still because it was mostly moving away from me.
I'm not complaining about the music. I love glam metal! Awesome vid too!
For such a small tornado, that thing sure was very strong to be able to toss debris up as high as it was and whipping it around like it was.
Haha niiccee joobbb luv bon jovi 😍 ❤ 💕 perfect background music yo
I love the way you started singing, LOL, but great video man!! Thanks, oh yeah you need to go to Idol and maybe you can get singed on to a record company
Nice video of a beautiful tornado! It seems to have been stationary for a long time, strange.
The only time ive seen a youtube video with good music selection xD
that's the most beautiful tornado ive ever seen, twister eat your heart out !
I don't know if anyone else noticed, but one of the raindrops that hit the windshield on the middle right-hand side at around 0:03 left a strangely heart-shaped pattern. Funny how things like that just seem to accidentally catch my eye, sometimes.
Such good chase music. For those who don't know, the songs played are
Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name
Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart
Journey - "Lovin Touchin Squeezin"
this silence and this beautiful tornado.... thats nature :) nice vid!
Unbelievable footage! Did you get lucky and stumble on this or did you have a chaser's instinct and knew where to look? Either way you were in the right place at the right time and got some awesome footage. Chase safely!!!

Kick start my heart goes good with the rotation..lol good vid :)

awesome tornado, fantastic music, freeking epic, awesome music.
I believe the “fire” he is referring to was inflow at ground level condensing due to air pressure differential
Like the NOAA warning in the background right on que...Nice vid!
DAMN, son. This is some incredible footage.
this guys just singing and watching a tornado. this guy rules.
how can you be so calm? do you know that it won't come your way or something? What if it just came right at you! i've never seen one so idk but they look RLYY scary to me
great footage - you might try a monopod to prevent camera shake for the telephoto shots
What did that field ever do to the tornado? That tornado HATED that field!
incredible footage, tornado really well defined, lit up well
Okay so I realize not everyone knows their facts about tornadoes, it doesn't need to be "dark" and when people are driving towards the tornado we should thank them for getting such awesome videos!
First song.... BON JOVI! LOVE IT! :-) (and the actual footage its epic!)
holy crap! thats so cool how you you filmed the tornado acutally BECOMING a tornado! man i would kill to see something like this in person! that is... if i was far enough away and had a way of escaping incase anything went wrong......
When it starts going fast, it looks like the windshield wipers are quirreling
Wow...incredible footage. How many miles were you from the core?
Better camera and better handling = great action video, much better than lots of hollywood ones
Nice job at filming the tornado. I thought I heard you "spit" in the video. Funny what the sound captures.
