I use to troll on the global chat when I was still a teen. It would actually be really fun when you're waiting for your troops to train.
Also it was a quick way to get troops in your cc

And painfully waiting time for village to rebuild after being attacked
Also when we still had to use the clock tower when we attacked on the builder base or else we'll have to wait several minutes for the bm to heal and troops to finish training

For few years I left playing coc, then i started playing again. One of my clan mate asked me to recruit new members,, then i suddenly noticed that i cant find global chat anymore!! And i was like how am i supposed to recruit 😳

I used to switch between TH-cam and clash of clans on my tablet. Sometimes I was afk for too long, and it wouldn't save... Usually took me 30-60 minutes...
that’s how my friend quit clash, he got tired of having to copy a base everytime a better one came out.

Yea and back then upgrading the town hall was a MAJOR milestone cos back then loot wasn’t so easy to get, cos now u have the battle pass and bonus and stuff

i used to train before going to school and attacking after school...
What about Giant Bombs doing double damage to hogs? Yall remember dropping a heal spell on your hogs, then a giant bomb would one-shot them mid heal. That was a monstrosity
I am proud to know all these things from the beginning, because I was there when they were with us.
I still miss global chat, one day I will talk to my grandchildren about how many people left the game to play clash royale and then left clash royale never to return

remember the 40k cost to repair the clan castle. we had to save a lot to just repair it. also the cost to make a new clan

I remember when ppl would try and get people from global chat into there clan
It's still the most effective way to recruit/find clans, the current system sucks you'll often find dead clans, dead acc, or accs that already joined clans
When you were in a clan and the clan leader asked all of your clanmates to promote your clan in the global chat lol
This dank man has started liking clash of clans again after so many years

I really doubt he has started liking it out of the blue, I just feel like clash is one of the popular games with the community of the supercell games, and it’s what people want to see.

My respect for supercell just went through the roof. They risked like their entire playerbase essentially so that they could protect the kids.

I started crying when I saw things such as the lighting on storages and being able to seek buildings. But you forgot one thing that was P A I N, the x40 damange of giant bombs to hog riders

Who remebered when cooking spells took forever and who remembered when hog riders attacked anything and who remembered when you doble tapped heroes they would do their battle cry lastly who remembered when valkyries says hæo!

I stopped playing Clash for a couple years from 2017-2019 or so, and I only recently started playing again. I legit thought some of these were still in the game haha

Back then we had to repair traps everytime they were used using gold
I started playing coc in 2018 and stopped playing like 3 months later and now I'm playing again 2021

I remember training army in each barracks, i had 3 lvl2. To train archers and one fore giants... i miss these days
I still remember a time when Town Hall 10 is the apex of all, you were considered a god for having high level dragons, and Global Chat is more toxic than Twitter.
When I started to play I remember th10 was having his sneak peaks 😜 th9 was max on that moment

5:00 those blue walls removal outraged me. When I started back in 2014 I always looked up to them (they were the max) as they look so cool and powerful. And when I finally was close to upgrading to them, they were changed into the orange ones lmao

I think u missed the limit with the barracks. You could only train certain ammount of troops with 1 barracks

I wish I got into this when it came out 😂 I used to make fun of my brother for buying gems for this game in 2012. 9 years later, all of my room mates played this. They used to sit there and talk about war strategies, etc. I heard all the lingo but had no idea what anything meant. I finally bit the bullet and got the game. Almost TH12 now, not rushed

Remember when every troops Barracks had its own troop training queue (up to certain queue depth) and you had to balance the troops you train by yourself, because all of the barracks trained simultaneously and independently ?
I've been playing clash of clans years and taking months of Break and never new Tesla's double damage has been removed.

I thought it was stupid at first cause no more multi hit....but after a couple 3 star dragon raids in wars.....yeah this new lightning is better XD

I remember you used to be able to put your phone in airplane mode before an attack and it wouldn’t count. You could find the cc troops, traps, etc. was very broken

not that it was necessarily removed, just reduced, but training golems used to take 45 mins and each barracks was treated individually in terms of training queues
You forgot to mention how we had to reset all the traps in the early days after our bases were attacked, and how in the prehistoric days of clash, if the village was attacked and if the army camp was destroyed, the whole army had to be cooked up again.
I remember most of these, especially the stones, selling buildings, global chat, lightning looting, and Pekkas taking double damage from Tesla’s. I also remember having to use gold to reset traps

I just recently picked this game up again (I played before TH11 was introduced) and I could have sworn there were practice attacks before your actual attacks for Clan Wars. I distinctly remember being able to scout bases and practice my attacks until I got a 3 star, then go in and try and replicate it. I remember this because there were so many times where the "real" attacks didn't go the same as the practice ones I did literally seconds beforehand and being pissed at the RNG lol. Am I insane or was this just missed in the video?

Maybe because clan castle and townhall is treated as "Storage"
For example. When near a clan castle, goblin will attack the clan castle first and then the other building
@@Banov0312 I think it's maybe because when you destroy the clan castle , the defending cc troops who are in the clan castle will also die
For example : if you destroy a clan castle early by using lightning spells , no defending cc troop will come out Which made attacking in war easier

Edit : Also , I don't think that there is a lot of loot in clan castle

Remember when you train your troops in every barracks, and make sure the training time was even?
I remember finding out you could just lighting a storage so I’d just spend 7 mins finding a base with a town hall on the outside and storages in middle full asf
Remember when it took 3 weeks to get your town hall upgraded or how expensive it was to upgrade your defenses
it's still expensive to upgrade defenses, im at a point where most of my defenses cost upwards of 1 mil each to upgrade.

I started in at the and of 2012 early 2013 so this is soo nostaglic, i miss some stuff from old versions of the game
My clan saw a 90 war win streak end back in 2016 because of that poison spell update. We heavily relied on using replays to plan cleanup attacks and the update came out in the middle of battle day which made all replays unavailable and a couple of us tried to use poison spells the old way and got burned by cc troops
The blue walls seemed out of place but that’s what made the bases interesting

I remember when I played clash of clans in middle school and I remember when the hidden Tesla did double damage to pekka. I also remember when u had to repair traps. I started over in clash of clans recently and I was confused why my traps didn’t need to be repaired.
I remember actually being able to sell the buildings, I never sold em, but one time I accidentally sold a high level barracks I just upgraded trying to train some troops

I used to play back in the day, during global chat, but i stopped playing a couple years ago. I had no idea that global chat was removed.
This one is pretty new, but I really hate when you cannot snipe CC troops anymore. I use to snipe Clan castle and eagle artillery during the war, but it was shielded. Result, I failed the attack.
Not necessarily removed, but the Air Defense also saw a big change in appearance once. Still lowkey miss the old Lvl.7 AD

I remember the trick of selling decorations before the patch that only gave you 10% back of what the decoration cost it used to give you the full value so what people would do before they got offline would buy all the decorations spend all of their loot, they could spend millions of each resource and while they were offline they had no loot in their storages to be attacked, and once you get back online you could just sell them all and your storages are full, they had to fix that pretty quickly it was only in the game for like a week or two if I remember right so they dropped it all the way down to 10% so it's pretty much useless you only get 100,000 gold for every million

I played COC from 2013 to 2016 then stopped because I lost my account but I started playing again in 2019 . I was so shocked when the global chat was removed because I was used to it lol .

that his ability can make other barbs gain a rage too
Barbs get raged
And kng get healed
You can only unlock the ability if your king is level5
The queen used to do the same rage as the king

when u could only train a certain amount of troops in each barracks, rather than all of them being linked.
