@elizgayd yep, Billboard. The organization that determines if a song or album is #1 or not in the world, according to industry standards. Guinness World Record for SKZ.
@@cicibingham6217 Yes, it is a record🎉 The Billboard 200 is a record chart that ranks the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States. It is published weekly by Billboard magazine to show the popularity of an artist or group of artists. The chart is based primarily on sales - both retail and digital - of albums in the United States.
@@b1u3st4rr If they had, Stray Kids wouldnt be the world record holder. They are the only K-Pop Group to have 5 consecutive #1 album debuts, but world wide there are like 10 artist above them. I believe the actual world record holder would be Taylor Swift with like 14 albums #1 album debuts
Chan (a member of Stray Kids) is friends with Ryan and asked him to join the MV, Marvel had no clue Ryan and Hugh are doing that cameo, SKZ made an OST for Deadpool and Wolverine - it's called "Slash"
Glad you liked it! Stray Kids is an 8-member, self-producing group from Korea (with 2 Australians in the mix). They are at the top of the game atm, they are going to headline Lollapalooza on Friday! and they just became the first group in history to have 5 consecutive BB200 #1 albums! As for suggestions, God's Menu, Lalalala, Megaverse, and Thunderous would be good next ones. oh, fandom is called Stay, so Welcome to Stayville!
You should watch the behind-the-scenes on this. They were in alleys and rooftops of NYC. Ryan & Hugh (and now Chris Hemsworth) are all friends of the band.
So this MV was shot when SKZ (abbr for Stray Kids) were in NY for the Met Gala and promoting an English single. They have just got their 5th consecutive #1 on BB 200 and Hot100 #49. They performed at the VMA's last year and are the Headliner for Lollapalooza on Friday night. There are 8 members. Ryan and Hugh are fans of SKZ. Ryan found them when it was posted for their Deadpool inspired performance on Kingdom Legendary Wars in 2021. Ever since he and Bang Chan became friends and also the rest of the group. A crossover has been the hope for a long time. Originally SKZ were supposed to have a cameo but with the strike and schedules couldn't make it happen. But we got Ryan and Hugh in this MV and SKZ have an original song on the soundtrack called Slash. They are a truly amazing talented group. They write and produce their music which allows them to experiment and give more meaning to their music.
They debuted in 2018 They are ages 23 - 26 Fandom name is Stay #2 Best Selling Artist in U.S 2023 #3 Globally Best Selling 2023 They are unique for several reasons... First, the leader Bang Chan was allowed by JYP to hand pick all of the members himself. They were not placed together in a traditional way, by the company. Second all of them are all arounders. They can all sing, rap, dance, produce and write. Third, they have written and produced about 99% of their music. Numbers of songs each member has copyrighted according to Korean Music Association (KOMCA) so far... Bang Chan 184 (#3 in KPop) Changbin 156 Han 152 Hyunjin 27 Felix 22 I.N 21 Seungmin 20 Lee Know 17 While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits... 3Racha... Bang Chan, Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers and lyricists. They are always credited as 3Racha. 3Racha Achievements - Producers of Consecutive Five Time Billboard 200 #1 album debuts - only group in history - Hot 100 Hitmakers - 3rd, 11th, 12th Most Credited Idols on KOMCA - Produced Albums Sold Over 20 Million Copies - Japan Hot 100 Hitmakers - 100+ Weeks on Hot 100 Lyricists - 100+ Weeks On Hot 100 Composers - 2023 Asia Artist Awards Best Creator - Makers of Time Magazines 2020 #8 Best Song (their song Backdoor) Danceracha... Seungmin and I.N While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane. Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography. Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds.
So that part at the end where Ryan was saying how long have you been sitting there, and they’re like “for awhile” I heard is referencing how a lot of people have been noticing them now but they have been making absolute bangers for years. Definitely recommend Miroh, Megaverse, Lalalala, Maniac, Thunderous, I could go on but I’m glad you gave them a listen!
That’s seriously so true, I remember listening to them for the first time in 2021 and going “oh…..oh these guys are gonna go FAR.” I could just like, _feel_ that they’d become superstars. Their creativity and production, as well as their hard work, personalities, mindsets, and overall group dynamic + synergy, are all just the absolute perfect recipe for success.
Stray kids just celebrated a new record by having their last 5 consecutive albums hit #1 on Billboard 100. Ryan Reynoldsloves K-pop, and his favorite groups are Stray Kids who he connected with the leader back in 2021 when stray kids did a live performance on a realty show called Kingdom Legendary War where they did a Mashup of Blackpink's song Duh du du du and one of their songs God's Menu with a dead pool marvel theme. Stray Kids debut in 2018, they are a self producing group, meaning they write the lyrics, compose melodies and beats, and combine unique sounds and genres to create amazing music. They love to experiment with music. They do have the best mv. They release more mvs per album.they also release a new mv 2 days ago called Mountains. It was going to be the title track, but they decided to have Chk Chk Boom as the title track. Love to see you check out more stray.
Always great to see people discover Stray Kids :) There are eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N They write and produce like 99% of all their music. They are all very very talented and also just seem like really nice people. Their music videos are all amazing, and there are a lot of them. To recommend a few: Mountains, Thunderous, Back Door, Gods Menu, S-class, Circus, Venom, Lalalala, The Sound, Maniac, Give me you TMI, Case 143, Freeze.... or go all the way back to Hellevator or District 9, their forst 2 MV's ever. (they were 9 members then, one dropped out after 1 year or so). Ryan Reynolds and Bang Chan (the leader of Stray Kids) have been friends since 2021. Ryan noticed them when they did a Deadpool themed performance where they did a mashup of Blank Pinks "dudu-dudu" and their own "Gods Menu" for the show "Kingdom". It's an amazing performance worth watching / reacting to btw ;) And I think Hugh has a soft spot for the 2 aussies (Bang Chan and Felix). Stray Kids has a song on the soundtrack to Deadpool and Wolverine called "Slash", and apparently Ryan had wanted them to have a cameo in the movie, but in the end it wasn't possible, due to scheduling issues. I think Ryan and Hugh being in the Chk Chk Boom video is the next best thing :) (Chan and Felix did a small interview with Ryan and Hugh when they were in Korea promoting the movie. You can find it here on youtube, if you are interested.) :)
No one does hype songs like Stray Kids. If you want workout songs, check them out. They also have gorgeous slower songs too. They all can sing, rap, and dance extremely well.
I think another achievement worth mentioning is that Stray Kids new album ATE debuted at number 1 on the billboard 200 album chart and Jimin from BTS debuted at number 2 with his album Muse. The first time the top 2 spots on the billboard 200 chart are kpop acts.
Stray Kids are a unique South Korea group in many aspects. First, the members were chosen by the group leader instead of the company which, to this day, is the only time this has ever happened. They are considered a group of all-rounders, meaning they can all rap, sing, and dance, although all the members specialize in a certain field and, within their field, some of the members are always listed within the top ten at least. For example, in a recent rapper ranking publication, member Changbin was ranked 17th in the world, and 1st in South Korea. They, like many other groups, had a survival show before their official debut, but instead of competing to earn a spot in the group as is usual, the members had to prove they were good enough to stay together as a group. This ordeal was the start of their close bond. In addition, since their debut on March 25, 2018, they have had creative control of their music with an official producing unit within the group named 3Racha composed of three of the members; the leader Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. Although only teenagers at the time of their debut, they have composed and produced 99% of their very extensive discography which encompasses many different genres of music. At the 2023 Asian Artists Awards, 3Racha received the Best Creators award. Because they write their own lyrics, their songs tend to contain a lot of their own thoughts and emotions, with many having motivational messages about being true to yourself, not letting others discourage you, following your dreams, etc. They have also tackled issues like depression, loneliness, and anxiety which is not common in K-Pop. Much of their lyrics, especially in their early years, are based on their own experiences due to the bitter backlash they received in their early days when they were heavily criticized for being experimental and creating a new sound rather than going along with the more mainstream traditional K-Pop style. The very distinctive sound they created is considered its own genre named mala taste after a popular Chinese spicy soup, Malatang. Although their most popular M/Vs are usually of their more energetic songs like Chk Chk Boom, they do not limit themselves to a particular style, so their discography is very diverse and includes beautiful ballads as well that best showcase their great vocals. They even have two Christmas songs, the sweet 24 to 25, and the funny Christmas Evel. For me, they are in a category all their own.
Stray Kids and Ryan have been friends for a few years. Ryan found them after Stray Kids did a Deadpool themed performance on a competition show called Kingdom. Ryan saw that and fell in love with them. He genuinely loves listening to them. He said he wanted them to have a cameo in the DP3 movie but scheduling didn't work out so they did a separate track for the movie instead called Slash. Ryan and Hugh wanted to be in Stray Kids music video and Ryan said Marvel didn't know they did that ha ha ha. Stray Kids is an 8 member group and they write and produce their music themselves. Which is pretty rare for Kpop. 2 members are from Australia. I grew up in Malasyia. The rest grew up in Korea. Each member can rap sing and dance very well. They do have their main roles, like 4 tend to do most of the rapping and 4 tend to do most of the vocals. But they frequently switch it up simply because they can and they can in fact do it all very well. They have a very wide variety in their discography. There is something for everyone. The beurty of them being able to make their own music is they have A LOT of it to put out and they release whatever they want. They never stick to just one sound. But it all has a distinct "Stray Kids" sound to it. They are one of the biggest groups in Kpop right now. They actually hold the world record for the group with the most #1's on the Billboard 200 with their first 5 entries. The only other artist to do that in history was DMX. They already have a big foothold in the US. This year alone their most recent album (released like 2 weeks ago) holds the #2 spot for the most US sales. Just under T Swift. And they did that in 2 weeks. So their collab with the MV with Ryan and Hugh was simply because they adore each other and it just worked out to be beneficial for both their movie and Skz's new album. I def. recommend to check out God's Menu, Venom, LALALALA, Lose My breath (Ft Charlie Puth), Thunderous, Maniac, Megaverse, and Lonley St.
As a Stay I would love to suggest you more songs. There are 8 members and they debuted in 2018. I'd love for y'all to listen to Lalalala & Gods Menu you'll definitely love the vibe.
Stray Kids are next level. No one is doing it like they are. They are already the biggest 4th Gen group and on their way to being THE biggest. They even have a OST on the Deadpool soundtrack.
Stray Kids title tracks are all workout playlist material. I swear, listening to their banger songs while working out will make you want to run a marathon or punch a hole in the wall.
First group to have 5 consecutive albums debut at # 1 on Billboard. So , obviously, they have been big for awhile. Not a cross promotion for Marvel, exactly, but they do have a song called Slash on the movie soundtrack. Looks like NYC because it was filmed on location there when they were in NY for the Met Gala.
Trust me I'm not trying to start anything but doesn't BTS have 6 consecutive number 1 albums? I think for Stray Kids they are the first group to have their first 5 billboard entries debut at number 1.
Stray kids is self produced. They wrote theirbown songs and this year they wrote an ost for the deadpool movie. But Ryan and hugh has been their fan and friends for year so it's not surprising to have them do a cameo. I recommend u check out their ost too. As for other songs others might be able to suggest more songs from them Deadpool x wolverine ost Tittle: Slash Link:th-cam.com/video/dhj4fK24jnM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kZLCAo4rrvvIiz1X Please react to this 👆
Stray Kids have the number one album “ATE” and Deadpool & Wolverine has the number one movie. Both have smashed records and set new world records with these releases. For this Stay and Marvel fan it just doesn’t get any better than this! Thanks for checking SKZ out and I hope you will check out all the rec’s Stays are leaving in the comments. *Subscribed 😎
Currently straykids are 3th most famous kpop group after btsand blackpink... They are so hugh...They grew step by step, by their own. So proud of them❤
Looks like my fellow STAYS have given the rundown already. I found them in late 2021, not long after Kingdom: Legendary Wars (a reality show) because they did a deadpool themed performance and it caught Ryan Reynolds attention. And since I'm an avid fan of Deadpool/Ryan Reynolds I had to check them out.
Ryan and SKZ go way back to 2021 (they did deadpool theme performance) when Ryan became a fan of them. SKZ's members are also huge fans of the Marvel movies & especially Deadpool. Ryan contacted them after the performance, thanked them, they exchanged gives & communicated through the internet till now. Chan (the leader) is a friend with Ryan, they have each others phone numbers & stuff. Ryan posts a funny edits on Chan's Birthday every year. It's a wholesome friendship. They met for the first time in New York for shooting of this MV & few weeks ago again in Korea when Hugh & Ryan went to promo tour of the new movie. The funniest thing is, Marvel didn't know they are going to be in this MV so I wouldnt say it's mainly for the promo of the movie cuz' they had no idea lmao
New subs! Please react more of Stray kids. There are 8 members, 2 of the member's are Australian bang chan the leader and felix the one who has deep voice.
#StrayKids make history and break the Guinness World Record to become the first and only group to debut their first 5 charting albums at #1 on Billboard 200. The record previously held by One Direction for 10 years
Thank you for reacting to them, they are so good!! You should listen to more of their music. Actually Ryan Reynolds and Stray Kids have been friends for years, they did a Deadpool themed stage in 2021 and a fan did an edit of Deadpool with Stray Kids in twtrr and Ryan saw it, ever since they became friends, they even exchanged signed merch with each other, Ryan is always hyping their music (even using it in his instagram stories) and has done edits for one of the members (the leader) bday haha, so them finally meeting for the music video was amazing for us, we have been suspecting a Deadpool soundtrack for 3 years and it's finally happening, Stray Kids released a new song for the Deadpool movie called "SLASH"
We (stay) would LOVE if you checked out more Stray kids! There’s a lot to get through so just go at your own pace and have that workout playlist ready because they have nothing but bangers ❤❤
stray kids have been blowing up for the past few years after they released the song god's menu in 2020. each year its like they double in popularity, it's been insane watching them since 2018. and they do it by producing and releasing the music they want, staying genuine and authentic, loving their jobs and still seeking to improve in their skills, and being good people. their staff and everyone who comes in contact with them, love them. ryan being one of those ppl who reached out to them back in 2021 just to show his appreciation for their performance, them coming in contact and then becoming friends. supporting and promoting each other ever since. to think disney didnt even know this was going to happen. they just wanted to appear on the mv because they were friends. ryan even tried getting stray kids on the movie but their schedules didnt line up
Leader Bang Chan was a trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote / produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAY more say in picking the members than pretty much any other idol trainee in the industry), and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on TH-cam. They write / produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over the years the other members have also gotten involved in writing and production. ---------------------------------- Stray Kids debuted in 2018. In their early videos, you'll see 9 people performing, but Woojin left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since. ---------------------------------- DanceRacha - main dance unit (Hyunjin, Felix (the deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well. ---------------------------------- VocalRacha - main vocal unit (Seungmin and I.N). But again, all 8 members are great and they switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix. Unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can and have rapped, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Languages: Bang Chan (the leader) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian. English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency. All 8 members are fluent in Korean and can also sing / rap in Japanese. They often mix Korean/English and Japanese/English in their songs. ---------------------------------- Not all of their music is super hard all the time. SKZ also write / sing beautiful ballads and have also written a few songs for K-drama, anime and video game soundtracks. They also collab with / produce for other idol groups and solo artists from KOR, JAP, CHIN, THAI and the U.S. ---------------------------------- The fandom is called STAY. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3Racha (Stray Kids' writing and production unit): Bang Chan - leader of Stray Kids, leader of 3Racha, main songwriter, main producer, composer, arranger, vocalist, dancer, rapper on some songs Changbin - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer Han - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The other members: Lee Know - main dancer, choreographer for some songs, vocalist, songwriter, rapper on some songs Hyunjin - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, producer, vocalist (also an artist & some of his paintings have been used as art for their songs) Felix - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, large vocal range when singing - bass, baritone and high falsetto Seungmin - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs I.N - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs
Stray kids do have an OST (original soundtrack) for the new Deadpool and Wolverine film but that’s with their song “Slash”. This song, “Chk Chk Boom” is from their new released album called “ATE”. Ryan Renolds and Hugh Jackman wanted to appear in SKZ music video for fun, no direct connection with the film there since they’re good friends with them
the music video quality and transitions are insane in everything they do! my fav mvs are sclass maniac and gods menu! if you wanna chdck those out they are rlly good!!!
Stray kids are huge now..I believe they won a grammy or something like that as best kpop group a year or 2 ago....should look at their videos called "Maniac" and "Megaverse"....
Thank you for the reaction!! Stray kids is a self produced group, leaders of 4th generation and ambassadors to many other labels and brands. They are an amazing group of talented 8 members that keep breaking record after record. They are known for not keeping withing the typical standards of kpop and are always looking for new ideas. They are so humble and loving and have the most beautiful relationship with their fandom. (STAY) I hope you enjoy their music and look deeper into their discography! ❤
Stray Kids has 8 members, 2 of which are from Australia: Chris Bang Chan and Felix Lee. Hugh Jackman/Wolverine is also from Australia. So the two members grew up idolizing Wolverine and later on Deadpool became a favorite. Stray Kids was on a competition show called, KINGDOM, in S.Korea. One of their performances was modeled on Deadpool and combined one of their songs with a BlackPink song. The performance went viral and STAY (the Stray Kids fans) twitter bombed Ryan Reynolds with the performance. He liked the clip and reached out to Chris (the leader of Stray Kids). They had a playful online back and forth which led to a real friendship between the two. Because of the Australian tie, Hugh Jackman also got looped into the online interactions. So of course when the Wolverine/Deadpool movie came about we all expected Stray Kids to be invited to have a song on the soundtrack, but no one expected an unpaid cameo in a separate Stray Kids song. There is a behind the scenes video of the filming on the Stray Kids Channel on a video of their New York appearances if you want to check that out. I would advise checking out God's Menu and Thunderous if you'd like to check out more of their music. Thanks for the reaction!
I really enjoyed your reaction. Thanks for showing our boys some love. Ryan Reynolds is a big fan of stray kids and has been for a few years now, and of course Stray Kids are big fans of his and the marvel movies as a whole, so this was a perfect collaboration for everyone involved. Chk chk boom isn’t in Deadpool, but they do have a song on the ost (slash) you should check it out. A little about the group. Stray Kids are a 4th gen South Korean group consisting of 8 very talented men (they debuted in 2018 as a 9 man group, but one member left in late 2019, so some of their earlier videos will have the extra person in them). They have no set roles and each member can sing, dance and rap. They mix a lot of different genres in their music and are entirely self produced (writing, composing, arranging, producing their own music). The members are Bang Chan (the leader), Lee Know (was a backup dancer for BTS), Changbin, Hyunjin (my bias 🥰), Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. (The maknae/youngest). You really can’t go wrong with any of their music, but some of their most iconic ones that I would recommend starting with are: Mountains “Stray Kids” Lalalalala Megaverse S-Class God’s Menu Thunderous Topline
A few years ago, Stray Kids were on (and won) a competition show with other kpop groups - for one of their performances they did a Deadpool theme. I think it got to Ryan Reynolds through Twitter (?) and he reached out to the leader of Stray Kids and there has been this back and forth friendship between them ever since.
We suggest you check out more songs of Stray Kids! They are currently dominating the industry with their album "ATE" breaking a guinness world record! You wont regret checking them out; and soon you might become a STAY yourselves! I recommend you watch Lalalala; their title track released prior to this one and their "Mountains" music video which is on the same album "ATE" as Chk Chk Boom.
Stray kids are one of a kind and i'm really glad you like them ! They are a great band. i'd love to see you discover them.
If you want more info : Stray kids are a self produced group (Which is rare in K-pop ) Changbin (the one rapping "I'm strong), Han (the one after the first chorus) and BangChan (the one having the first pre-chorus) are known under the 3racha name. They produce and make lyrics for almost 99% of all the songs of the group. BangChan (the leader) has more than180 credited songs (180 in november so way more now i think), Changbin and Han have almost the same count. But as of today, all members are starting to make their own songs.
If you want to discover them they have a song called "FAM" where they describe each other.
They are 8 members and have a unique fact about them : they don't have roles because they are multi talented. (In k-pop, a group is divided in roles : vocals the ones singing, rappers the one rapping and visual, the ones better looking. It implies that if they are one they aren't good at the other twos) They were also recruited by BangChan (unique way of creating a group. In K-pop it's the agency who decides which member will form a group based on the concept of the group.)
If you like their songs, they have a big big catalog and they use a lot of music styles. They also have a lot of content on youtube like behind the stage / MV or lives and a lot of covers; ect. If the dance part interests you, they have dance practices there too ! You could check the one for "Domino","Easy" and a lot more !
You can try : Moutains, Megaverse, Christmas EveL, COMFLEX, Case 143, LALALALA, Cheese, Venom, Freeze, S-class, the sound, Awaken, Rock, Question, Time's out. If you prefer more melodic and less "noisy" songs try : Cover me, Chill, Collision, Can't stop, Limbo, Stars and raindrops, Leave, FNF, Streetlight, Youtiful and more And if rap is what you're into try : Heyday (3racha), 3RACHA, Item, Topline, We go, Any, and so much more ! I hope your journey discovering stray kids will be fun !
THERES SO MANY ALREADY SO I'LL JUST PUT THIS HERE STRAYKIDS R THE BEST BOY GROUP/BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!THEY JUST MADE HISTORY FOR BEING THE ONLY ARTIST TO HAVE 5 NO.1 ON BB200 WITH EVERY ALBUM SINCE DEBUT N SURPASS A TIE THEY HOLD WITH 1DIRECTION🎉❤❤❤❤
This video is kind of 3 years in the making. Stray Kids were on a competition show called Kingdom and they did a mash up performance of one of their songs and a Black Pink song called 'God's Dududu' that was deadpool themed. Ryan Reynolds saw the performance and fell in love with Stray Kids. He and the leader Chan especially have been friends since then- Chan and another member Felix interviewed them for Marvel Korea this summer as well. Ryan is a huge fan to the extent his production company make birthday edits for Chan's birthday. He originally wanted Stray Kids to be in the deadpool film but the schedules didn't work out, so he appeared in their MV. Stray Kids also made a song called 'Slash' that ended up being featured on the film official soundtrack. Stray Kids are a really cool and interesting group. They produce their own stuff and performance is absolutely their element- they've just headlined a bunch of festivals in Europe and America. They make songs in every genre but a lot of their title tracks have high energy and atypical rhythm compositions. I hope you keep checking them out.
You think this video is crazy? You should see their music videos for S Class, or Thunderous, or Lalalala…or Red Lights 😳 Stray Kids debuted under JYP in 2018, they write and produce all or almost all of their own music. They have a lot of celebrity fans including Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who are personal friends of Stray Kids Leader. Stray Kids also wrote an original song for the Deadpool and Wolverine Movie called Slash. Which is really a cool eerie sounding song. They are known for their crazy beats (which they make themselves), fast rapping, and Felix’s deep voice (for reference check out God’s Menu and Megaverse)
They have a song on the movie soundtrack but no connection to this. Ryan said Marvel had no idea they were doing this he just wanted to be in a Stray Kids video & no one was gonna tell him otherwise. The clip at the end is Ryan telling us how they met. Stray Kids are not new. They’ve been around for years but he discovered them because of a Deadpool themed performance they did on the show “Kingdom Legendary War” & he became a fan. The performance contains a moment where group leader Bang Chan is shoving aside a signboard held by a (off camera) staff member that reads “JYP 바보 (idiot)” Their label JYP was evidently against them doing this concept but Bang Chan was stubborn & insisted.
Stray Kids is one of the best in the industry, there is no such thing as the best and the worst, everyone tries very hard to debut and does their best.
I'm so excited! I've been subscribed to your channel for a while, but I'm also a massive Stay (Stray Kids Fandom name), so I was really happy to see you react to Stray Kids! So as I'm sure it's already been answered, Ryan Reynolds is also a massive Stay and according to him, Marvel didn't know they did this (but Ryan deadpans so well it's hard to tell for sure on that) Stray Kids also have the Deadpool and Wolverine OST title track Slash. Only instrumental plays briefly during the film, but the song is really awesome, and I do highly recommend it.
Stray Kids became friends with Ryan Reynolds when they used a Deadpool theme in one of their Kingdom performances. They have kept in touch and exchanged gifts since then. th-cam.com/video/sCrDgMZ7cDI/w-d-xo.html So happy they got to meet in person and Ryan decided to cameo on the MV without Marvel's knowledge
You should see the making off of this video. They perform this video with earphones only to not disturb people at night, and indeed they are in the rooftop and there are almost and CGI! Incredible!
OMG YESSS STRAY KIDS 😭 (i got this recommended a couple hours ago and i felt the need to check out your channel and watch all your kpop reactions before this one so i could watch your journey with this new territory and lucky me it was mostly blackpink lol these girls along with stray kids are my ultimate groups!) long story short about how this collab happened: stray kids participated in some sort of korean survival show called "kingdom: legendary war" back in 2021 against other kpop groups, not to debut, it's just a show (it has 4 seasons as of now i believe) that reunites various groups and showcases them to the korean public to grow on popularity. kingdom: legendary war consisted of basically performing 5 stages and in one of them they had the opportunity to make a creative stage and bang chan (stray kids' member and leader) proposed to have a deadpool theme (to which their company/manager didn't really vibe with the idea, but they went with it) and so they did a stage with that theme ⚠️spoiler⚠️ it was a deadpool themed stage with a remix of one of their songs and blackpink's! days after that, a stray kids fan account made an edit of deadpool and that stage JUST FOR FUN and ryan reynolds interacted with it saying that he liked it and after that one tweet he's been interacting with stray kids non-stop LITERALLY 😭 i cannot tell you every single interaction they've had because they're a lot, even ryan's agency (?) is fully into skz' side of the fandom on twitter to the point of making edits of bang chan and calling themselves STAY (stray kids' fandom name) lmao the connection with hugh jackman is kinda the same just less public lol they're both aussies so they connect really well with stray kids' aussie line (bang chan and felix). you can say that this is for deadpool x wolverine promotion but ryan and hugh revealed recently that marvel had no idea about this music video at all 😭 they just agreed on making a cameo and decided to use their famous suits for free promo 😭 because yeah it makes sense, stray kids were also revealed to be part of deadpool x wolverine's tracklist, completely unrelated with their own song but still connected. aaaand that's it, not as short as i said but i really tried 💀 subscribing in hopes of watching more stray kids 🫶🏻 (and blackpink AND hopefully future *nmixx* or *newjeans* reactions🕯️) thank you for the reaction and for liking it!!!
Basically skz were in a competition called kingdom in 2021, where they competed with 6 other groups through live performances. skz did a deadpool-themed performance and the performance started to go viral until it reached ryan, that's how he met them and they've kept in touch ever since. i think that in addition to the collaboration (deadpool and wolverine in skz's mv and skz making a song for deadpool) being because of the friendship and admiration they have for each other, it was also to promote each other, like everyone winning there.
Wow!! Stray kids love this group so much i recommend checking there songs called stray kids, mountains, jjam, lalalalala, thunderous, red lights (maybe you can save that for last 😅 I don't think you're ready) 2:25 Felix 2:30 Han 2:38 Changbin 2:47 I.N/Jeongin (Maknae/youngest) 2:58 Bangchan/Chan (leader/oldest) 3:06 Hyunjin 3:16 Lee know 5:10 Seungmin Thank you so much for liking stray kids i hope you'll become a STAY !❤💙(fandom name)
Stray Kids MV’s are a league of their one! -Maniac -LALALALA -Megaverse -S-Class Just to name a few But for you 2 if you like Bars go check out “GODS MENU ,EASY, TOPLINE, TORTOISE AND THE HARE, VENOM.
Ryan and Hugh did the cameo without informing Marvel about it. LOL. DeadpoolxWolverine is connected to Straykids since they made a new song, "Slash" for the movie. and also, the connection goes wayyy back 2021 when the kids did a Deadpool theme for a competition and Ryan reached out, and they've been chummies since then.
Stray Kids are well-known for the transitions in their mvs and they never disappoint! One of their most popular mvs/songs is Gods Menu. Also, they performed a mash up of Gods Menu with BlackPinks' "Dududu". It was part of a dance competition among boy groups and Stray Kids took home the trophy! The show is called "Kingdom: Legendary war" and their performance is called Gods Dududu
They broke the record of one direction with 4 no.1 in bb200 and now they hold tre record with 5 consecutive no.1 in bb200 only group in the whole world to achieve this milestone❤❤❤
Thank you for your reaction. This group is 6 years old and consists of 8 members. It is rare for the K-pop industry for members to write their own music, but Stray Kids is an exception. They have 3Racha (Bangchan, Changbin and Han), who write the main music, but the other 5 members are also involved in creating tracks. They once participated in the show Kingdom, where they performed a cover of a Blackpink song, using Deadpool paraphernalia (they are big fans of Marvel movies), Stay (the fandom of this group) jokingly tagged Ryan Reynolds' account on Twitter and that's how the story of their communication began. Deadpool fans really liked the cover, by the way. The group had to go a long way, since the company they debuted in initially did not put any chances on them and they were considered a failure. However, now they are winning one victory after another. By the way, Ryan Reynolds' bias is Bangchan, they communicate. Honestly, they have a lot of amazing tracks. I recommend watching Gods Menyu, Thunderous, Megaverse, Cheese, S-Klass, LALALALA MVs and basically anything. There are a lot of songs that haven't had videos.
So in 2021 they competed on kingdom with other boy groups, and they did one Deadpool inspired performance. Ryan saw it and thanked them. He and Chan connected, Chan interviewed him for free guy via zoom call and they finally met in person this year. Chan and Felix interviewed Ryan and Hugh for the movie as well. SKZ were supposed to be in the movie but timing didn’t work out, so I feel like this was to make up for that. They do have a song on the soundtrack called SLASH, you should check it out.
You will fall in love with these guys! They are truly sweethearts if you watch any of their behind the scenes content or fun projects called SKZ Codes. They are so talented yet humble. Could you do reactions to these title tracks: God’s Menu Thunderous Maniac Case 143 S Class Lalalala
Marvel's Deadpool and Wolverine actors, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds meet the JYP Entertainment most Kpop Boy Group, Stray Kids in the music video, Chk Chk Boom and it was all dancing worldwide by storm 🌎🌍🌏
strange that you never heard of stray kids before this? 😅 not with god's menu's " cooking like a chef im a 5 star Michelin" and Christmas eveL's "felix never bad" went viral in every platforms.. they're the 3rd biggest kpop group in the scene. and they're the 4th generation kpop leaders.
There are 8 members! Although two are Korean-Aussie (Chris/Chan - the one on the roof top and Felix/Yongbok - the blonde with the deep voice). I'd love to see you guys react to some of their other popular releases like Gods Menu, Maniac and Thunderous :-)
STRAY KIDS CHK CHK BOOM ! No1 at BB200 AND No49 AT BB100 ! STRAY KIDS is the only group that it have 5 consecutive No1 at BB200 ! some of StrayKids 스트레이키즈 ATE ChkChkBoom Billboard Stats: No 1 Billboard 200 No 1 Artist 100 No 1 Top Album Sales No 1 Top Current Album Sales No 1 World Albums No 1 World Digital Song Sales No 3 US Digital Song Sales No 4 Global Excl. The connection to Deadpool is from their performance at Kingdom, a reality-survival competition show. They did a performance called God’s Ddu Du Ddu Du and they had Felix (deep voice fella) cosplay as Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds got tagged on every video of the performance and became friends with Bang Chan and Felix. Reynolds and Jackman were in Korea promoting their movie and did the video with Stray Kids. Ryan even tried to get them in the movie but the schedules just didn’t work out. They do have a song in the Wolverine vs Deadpool movie called “Slash” and its a banger.
Actually Ryan Reynolds has been friends with one of the members name Felix he is the beautiful one with the deep voice who is originally from Australia
Impressed by the production of a Kpop MV? Guys if there is one thing you should know, regardless if you like kpop or not, is that the quality production of their music videos is light years away/above from anything in the West. And Stray Kids are kinda famous for having some outstanding ones (they work with amazing directors and editors, and get to shoot on great sets and locations)
This group now holds a world record. On Sunday, they became the first group of ANY genre to have 5 consecutive #1 album debuts.
#1 Billboard 200 album
@elizgayd yep, Billboard. The organization that determines if a song or album is #1 or not in the world, according to industry standards. Guinness World Record for SKZ.
@@cicibingham6217 Yes, it is a record🎉
The Billboard 200 is a record chart that ranks the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States.
It is published weekly by Billboard magazine to show the popularity of an artist or group of artists.
The chart is based primarily on sales - both retail and digital - of albums in the United States.
unfortunately guinness world records doesn't have a category for this yet 😭 let's hope they make it a category
Wait i thought It was Ryan that asked to be in the mv. That he called Chan.
@@aberefejiro oh well, maybe I remember wrong ☺
Only Chan and Ryan know did sure, lol.
Actually Chan said that Ryan called him once to say hello and tell him that he was going to see him at the recordings of the MV, really random lol
Wait im slow where is slash in the movie? I watched it but if it was in the beggining i missed that but i didnt hear it anywhere at the end
With the video they were in New York and they were actually on the buildings and the roads and also stray kids produce all of their music
This!!!!! They don't use green screen very much at all. 90% + of their videos are on location.
Little Christopher is collecting all the Aussies 😂
They debuted in 2018
They are ages 23 - 26
Fandom name is Stay
#2 Best Selling Artist in U.S 2023
#3 Globally Best Selling 2023
They are unique for several reasons...
Bang Chan 184 (#3 in KPop)
Changbin 156
Han 152
Hyunjin 27
Felix 22
I.N 21
Seungmin 20
Lee Know 17
While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits...
3Racha... Bang Chan, Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers and lyricists. They are always credited as 3Racha.
3Racha Achievements
- Producers of Consecutive Five Time Billboard 200 #1 album debuts - only group in history
- Hot 100 Hitmakers
- 3rd, 11th, 12th Most Credited Idols on KOMCA
- Produced Albums Sold Over 20 Million Copies
- Japan Hot 100 Hitmakers
- 100+ Weeks on Hot 100 Lyricists
- 100+ Weeks On Hot 100 Composers
- 2023 Asia Artist Awards Best Creator
- Makers of Time Magazines 2020 #8 Best Song (their song Backdoor)
Danceracha... Lee Know (in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin. They also contribute to the choreography.
Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N
While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane.
Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography.
Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds.
Stray kids always amazing and never disappoints. Please react to another song from Stray Kids
They shot the whole music video in New York. There are behind the scenes/making videos of this song if you guy’s interested watch it too.
Always great to see people discover Stray Kids :)
There are eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N
They write and produce like 99% of all their music.
It's an amazing performance worth watching / reacting to btw ;)
And I think Hugh has a soft spot for the 2 aussies (Bang Chan and Felix).
Stray Kids has a song on the soundtrack to Deadpool and Wolverine called "Slash", and apparently Ryan had wanted them to have a cameo in the movie, but in the end it wasn't possible, due to scheduling issues. I think Ryan and Hugh being in the Chk Chk Boom video is the next best thing :)
(Chan and Felix did a small interview with Ryan and Hugh when they were in Korea promoting the movie.
Stray Kids, amazingly talented artists and leader in 4th generation Kpop groups!!
Stray Kids are next level. No one is doing it like they are. They are already the biggest 4th Gen group and on their way to being THE biggest. They even have a OST on the Deadpool soundtrack.
SLASH
I suggest you check out "LALALALA". Thank you for checking out SKZ, they have such a variety of music and albums.
@@crystalsnow1138I don’t know about bts, but my comment does say exactly that… 5 consecutive debuts
Stray Kids becomes the first group in history to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 with their first five charting albums,
@@crystalsnow1138 bts does have 6 but they’re not consecutive. skz broke a record for 5 consecutive ones beating one direction with only four.
@@crystalsnow1138bts has 6 #1 BB200 but they’re not consecutive, stray kids 5 #1s are consecutive.
More stray kids please
Super cool 😎 🔥
My fav group 🩷
Stray kids is self produced. They wrote theirbown songs and this year they wrote an ost for the deadpool movie. But Ryan and hugh has been their fan and friends for year so it's not surprising to have them do a cameo. I recommend u check out their ost too. As for other songs others might be able to suggest more songs from them
Deadpool x wolverine ost
Tittle: Slash

Please react to this 👆
Stray Kids have the number one album “ATE” and Deadpool & Wolverine has the number one movie.
I love Stray Kids and Ryan so much, here my two megavers in this video 🤩
Welcome to the fandom! Please check out their debut song District 9- you use their sound effect for your notification bell!
Ryan Reynolds is a huge Stay and Blink. He's a big Kpop stan.
I suggest you watch the behind the scenes of this if youre interested, its super cool!
Stray kids are kings of transitions.. They're always on point
New subs! Please react more of Stray kids. There are 8 members, 2 of the member's are Australian bang chan the leader and felix the one who has deep voice.
#StrayKids make history and break the Guinness World Record to become the first and only group to debut their first 5 charting albums at #1 on Billboard 200. The record previously held by One Direction for 10 years
Very few CGI was used on this music video, those are real life locations :)
Oh the rabbit hole you can now fall down lol. (You won’t regret it 😊)
We (stay) would LOVE if you checked out more Stray kids! There’s a lot to get through so just go at your own pace and have that workout playlist ready because they have nothing but bangers ❤❤
Thank you so much for your reaction on Stray Kids!
stray kids have been blowing up for the past few years after they released the song god's menu in 2020. each year its like they double in popularity, it's been insane watching them since 2018. and they do it by producing and releasing the music they want, staying genuine and authentic, loving their jobs and still seeking to improve in their skills, and being good people. their staff and everyone who comes in contact with them, love them. ryan being one of those ppl who reached out to them back in 2021 just to show his appreciation for their performance, them coming in contact and then becoming friends. supporting and promoting each other ever since. to think disney didnt even know this was going to happen. they just wanted to appear on the mv because they were friends. ryan even tried getting stray kids on the movie but their schedules didnt line up
Leader Bang Chan was a trainee at JYP for several years.
----------------------------------
Stray Kids debuted in 2018. In their early videos, you'll see 9 people performing, but Woojin left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since.
----------------------------------
DanceRacha - main dance unit (Hyunjin, Felix (the deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well.
----------------------------------
VocalRacha - main vocal unit (Seungmin and I.N). But again, all 8 members are great and they switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song.
----------------------------------
Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix. Unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can and have rapped, depending on the song.
----------------------------------
Languages:
Bang Chan (the leader) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian. English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency.
All 8 members are fluent in Korean and can also sing / rap in Japanese. They often mix Korean/English and Japanese/English in their songs.
----------------------------------
Not all of their music is super hard all the time.
SKZ also write / sing beautiful ballads and have also written a few songs for K-drama, anime and video game soundtracks. They also collab with / produce for other idol groups and solo artists from KOR, JAP, CHIN, THAI and the U.S.
----------------------------------
The fandom is called STAY.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
3Racha (Stray Kids' writing and production unit):
Bang Chan - leader of Stray Kids, leader of 3Racha, main songwriter, main producer, composer, arranger, vocalist, dancer, rapper on some songs
Changbin - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer
Han - main songwriter, main producer, composer, main rapper, vocalist, dancer
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The other members:
Lee Know - main dancer, choreographer for some songs, vocalist, songwriter, rapper on some songs
Hyunjin - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, producer, vocalist (also an artist & some of his paintings have been used as art for their songs)
Felix - main dancer, main rapper, songwriter, large vocal range when singing - bass, baritone and high falsetto
Seungmin - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs
I.N - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs
They won a vma not a Grammy
No kpop group has ever won a Grammy. And the only one that has ever been nominated for a Grammy is BTS (they have 5 nominations).
It's VMA! Stray kids won the Best KPOP on 2023 at Video music award.
I was lucky to get VIP tickets to the Sydney show in October for their upcoming world tour. Two of the members are Australian which is nice.
You really can’t go wrong with any of their music, but some of their most iconic ones that I would recommend starting with are:
Mountains
“Stray Kids”
Lalalalala
Megaverse
S-Class
God’s Menu
Thunderous
Topline

Stray Kidsめちゃくちゃカッコイイよね🫶天才🎓✨
Stray kids are one of a kind and i'm really glad you like them ! They are a great band. i'd love to see you discover them.
If you want more info :
Stray kids are a self produced group (Which is rare in K-pop ) Changbin (the one rapping "I'm strong), Han (the one after the first chorus) and BangChan (the one having the first pre-chorus) are known under the 3racha name.
If you prefer more melodic and less "noisy" songs try : Cover me, Chill, Collision, Can't stop, Limbo, Stars and raindrops, Leave, FNF, Streetlight, Youtiful and more
And if rap is what you're into try : Heyday (3racha), 3RACHA, Item, Topline, We go, Any, and so much more !
Hangul power conception!
Marvel actually had no idea Ryan/Hugh were doing this music video.
They have...19 albums--full and mini--all since 2018.
Stray Kids also wrote an original song for the Deadpool and Wolverine Movie called
Slash. Which is really a cool eerie sounding song. They are known for their crazy beats (which they make themselves), fast rapping, and Felix’s deep voice (for reference check out God’s Menu and Megaverse)
Thanks for checking out Stray Kids!
What a dope M/V !! 🤯🤯🤯🤯
The performance contains a moment where group leader Bang Chan is shoving aside a signboard held by a (off camera) staff member that reads
“JYP 바보 (idiot)”
Their label JYP was evidently against them doing this concept but Bang Chan was stubborn & insisted.
YESSSS STRAY KIDS!!!!! I AM HERE FOR THEM
Stray kids MV is the best in all K-pop industry
K POP SUCKS
More stray kids please❣💯
-Gods Menu -Maniac -Thunderous -Venom -Get Lit
-Case 143 -Topline -Back Door -Freeze -LALALALA
Stray Kids became friends with Ryan Reynolds when they used a Deadpool theme in one of their Kingdom performances. They have kept in touch and exchanged gifts since then. th-cam.com/video/sCrDgMZ7cDI/w-d-xo.html
So happy they got to meet in person and Ryan decided to cameo on the MV without Marvel's knowledge
More stray kids please ❤
You should see the making off of this video. They perform this video with earphones only to not disturb people at night, and indeed they are in the rooftop and there are almost and CGI! Incredible!
There are NOT almost CGI! Sorry!
I just subscribed! Pls. Do more reactions to STRAY KIDS. They're 🔥 🔥 🔥
OMG YESSS STRAY KIDS 😭 (i got this recommended a couple hours ago and i felt the need to check out your channel and watch all your kpop reactions before this one so i could watch your journey with this new territory and lucky me it was mostly blackpink lol these girls along with stray kids are my ultimate groups!)
long story short about how this collab happened:
stray kids participated in some sort of korean survival show called "kingdom: legendary war" back in 2021 against other kpop groups, not to debut, it's just a show (it has 4 seasons as of now i believe) that reunites various groups and showcases them to the korean public to grow on popularity. kingdom: legendary war consisted of basically performing 5 stages and in one of them they had the opportunity to make a creative stage and bang chan (stray kids' member and leader) proposed to have a deadpool theme (to which their company/manager didn't really vibe with the idea, but they went with it) and so they did a stage with that theme ⚠️spoiler⚠️ it was a deadpool themed stage with a remix of one of their songs and blackpink's! days after that, a stray kids fan account made an edit of deadpool and that stage JUST FOR FUN and ryan reynolds interacted with it saying that he liked it and after that one tweet he's been interacting with stray kids non-stop LITERALLY 😭 i cannot tell you every single interaction they've had because they're a lot, even ryan's agency (?) is fully into skz' side of the fandom on twitter to the point of making edits of bang chan and calling themselves STAY (stray kids' fandom name) lmao
the connection with hugh jackman is kinda the same just less public lol they're both aussies so they connect really well with stray kids' aussie line (bang chan and felix). you can say that this is for deadpool x wolverine promotion but ryan and hugh revealed recently that marvel had no idea about this music video at all 😭 they just agreed on making a cameo and decided to use their famous suits for free promo 😭 because yeah it makes sense, stray kids were also revealed to be part of deadpool x wolverine's tracklist, completely unrelated with their own song but still connected. aaaand that's it, not as short as i said but i really tried 💀
subscribing in hopes of watching more stray kids 🫶🏻 (and blackpink AND hopefully future *nmixx* or *newjeans* reactions🕯️) thank you for the reaction and for liking it!!!
“They’re so smart to marketing” thy are friends🧍🏻♀️😂😂😂
I like Stray Kids !! ❤❤❤
Wow!! Stray kids love this group so much i recommend checking there songs called stray kids, mountains, jjam, lalalalala, thunderous, red lights (maybe you can save that for last 😅 I don't think you're ready)

2:47 I.N/Jeongin (Maknae/youngest)

Stray Kids MV’s are a league of their one!
-Maniac
-LALALALA
-Megaverse
-S-Class
Just to name a few
But for you 2 if you like Bars go check out “GODS MENU ,EASY, TOPLINE, TORTOISE AND THE HARE, VENOM.
They are 4 gen leaders in kpop and also they are famous and grow and grow more in international
Could you do reactions to these title tracks:
God’s Menu
Thunderous
Maniac
Case 143
S Class
Lalalala

Go check out the original Chick A Boom from Daddy Dew Drop…K-Tel Hit
Actually Ryan Reynolds has been friends with one of the members name Felix he is the beautiful one with the deep voice who is originally from Australia
I’m a simple girl I see stray kids I click 😭
"K-POP TAKING OVER"
you mean Skz taking over
Impressed by the production of a Kpop MV?
Guys if there is one thing you should know, regardless if you like kpop or not, is that the quality production of their music videos is light years away/above from anything in the West.
And Stray Kids are kinda famous for having some outstanding ones (they work with amazing directors and editors, and get to shoot on great sets and locations)
FUN FACT: Ryan Reynold said in an interview that he didnt even ask marvel if they could do this 🤣
