He is so young and cute here!!! Look at his hair!!! he has got that kid and play style. LOL, he is adorable!!!! "I messed up my own joke on live TV, It's Live!!!!"
Dude! I just thought of something.....The way the video is all jacked up and their faces keep twitching out...it's like an episode of Max Headroom! LOL
@@spayspay Thanks for responding. I was in a fusion band that performed at a theatre across from the scientology castle for a few months with a comedy troupe. We all got invited to perform on the show. I played flute during a thing they called Patadue for sperm and egg. and saxaphone between skits and during commercials to entertain the live audience. it was at the laugh factory, and I think it may have been Chris's first television gig. I was practicing up in a room high up above stage before the show, and he asked to come in and practice his bits. I said yes of course, so we spent some time, just him and I. I had the video (same quality as yours, thats just how things were back then) but it was stolen with some equipment in a burglery many years ago.
@@KenWallman I’m sorry that that happened to you. So on your tape were you on the episode? If you say yes I’ll have to check mine. I may have cut out everything but the comedians.
I have more Comic Strip Live, but most of it is guys no one has ever heard of. Not really worth upping. I thought I had Chris Rock on MTV Half Hour Comedy Hour, but I can't find it.
I have full episodes of Comic Strip Live from that time period. But they're all terrible quality like this one, except that there aren't many well known people.
Thank you for posting this video! Awesome aesthetics though!
Glad I could make some people happy with these memories.

He covered really well.
He literally had punchlines. He hits the mic every time he finishes a joke.
Thanks for the upload! great stuff!
I miss that flat top he used to sport in the early 90s
Thanks champ for the upload audio is still great! Thanks heaps
That speaks so well joke is a classic 1996 Bring The Pain joke. He definitely made it better.

Actually I think he did that one in his first special "Born Suspect".
IT'S LIVE!
Hi, I was on this show with Chris Rock. Do you know how I could view it? I have been looking for many years. Thanks!
@@KenWallman hmm I may have the whole show still. What jokes did you tell? I used to watch that episode so much that I may remember.
