Please continue doing Nursing School Vlogs! It helps me catch a few glimpses of my older brother, whom I haven’t seen in forever! He’s in your class and lectures!
Nice video! As a practicing Nurse Practitioner of many years ( >25 yrs!), I would highly recommend working as an RN for at least a year or 2 before going back to school. It's important to have a solid foundation before becoming a mid level provider, and there's nothing like real life experience to provide that for you. The best practitioners I've worked with feel the same way, so it may be something for you to consider. That being said, it's a really challenging and rewarding career path to take, and was one of the best decisions I've made! Best of luck to you, and congratulations on being so close to the end of your program!!
Hello, do you think it's possible for nurses to pursue hobbies. I'm interested in the medical field but i also have a passion for ballet. I'm wondering if it'll be possible for me to attend ballet classes while working as a nurse. Please let me know, it would be very helpful for me, thank you.
@@autumn399 Hi Autumn! Personally, I feel that it’s not only possible, but essential, for a nurse to have hobbies or other interests! Nursing can be a very all consuming career and I feel like we need to have other outlets to help balance our lives. Ballet would not only fulfill your need for creativity but also provide you with great physical activity. I don’t know if it would be possible to pursue ballet as a profession, as well as nursing, but I think it could be a wonderful hobby! Best of luck to you!
As a registered nurse of five years, I can confirm with you that education will NEVER end lol. But that is okay because we need to evolution as the science changes. I also agree with others that you definitely should work as a registered nurse before diving back into school. I did 3 years med/surg and 2 years ED before starting my FNP (this August). Definitely helps critically think about various scenarios when you have clinical experience backing you up. Keep with the vlogs! Brings back memories lol
My 36 year old daughter is a labor & delivery nurse and she has her RN, BSN. Stick with it. You have so much good inside of you that others need. I can see that you are strong, so smart and so compassionate.
All I can say is I have massive respect for you. Medical dramas have it all wrong. Yup, docs deserve respect too, but after having been in the hospital, I know nurses work their asses off. I saw nurses around the clock, but I saw the doctors four times in the three nights and four days I was in there. You guys deserve so much respect! ❤❤❤
I am also an nursing student and honestly it a lot harder then I thought but it's kind of fun also and I love to interact with patients and this profession really needs a lot of patience
Your videos kind of help give motivation to study. Im currently studying for my teas (again) to get into my college nursing program but I have the same struggles as you such as procrastination and just a slow learner. Great video as always!
Always find your vids helpful to get a glimpse of what its like living in NY as a uni student. Just a request... I know you have part-time job but can you make a vid on how much it costs to live in NY as a student? What living expenses is like and all that? Trying to apply to school in NY from Korea and any info related to it would be super helpful.
Hello! Nice to see a positive and productive vlog from you! On that note, I was wondering, since NYC is considered quite expensive to live in, how do you cope in managing your expenses? And I think what we're all eager to know as well is, how do you get your source of income? Is it mainly from you working pt at your cafe job and from your nursing internship? Or do you rely heavily on other sources of income e.g. parents etc? (Btw no shame in that) Hope we can hear from you! 😊
Studying as a medical technology and im starting to like watching ur channel, such comfy and motivating vibes I’m getting~~ Very nice to watch during break time ✨ goodluck to you and i wish you success on the choices ✊🤍
omg! I met you before! I served you at Kona coffee. You used to come in and get an acai bowl and a latte. I can't believe I found you on TH-cam. Happy to see you doing well :) I always liked your personality.
Hi how are you doing how’s your studies going but hope you finish off strong with your studies it may be hard but you got this I’m going back to college in August but hope you are staying cool and healthy your videos are like a podcast thanks for posting
So weird but interesting to see the different paths for nursing around the world. In my province, you can do a Bachelor of Nursing (either Integrated or of Science in Nursing) work 2 years in the specialty of choice to gain experience, then apply for a Master of Science Applied to become an NP. PhDs are only for the nurses who want to go into research, here. Every country is different, huh. 🤔
Why do I feel that people who work intimately with others nurses/ care workers and support workers always use TMI 😂 I am and ex care worker and often make people cringe with my casual talk 😅
Am I the only one that find his voice so soothing? Even though he had a hectic schedule, his voice made this vlog so calm n smooth
You're just horny af

The school study hall reminds me of a scene in IT the horror movie

Out of curiousity.. With those 5 coffee's a day, do you get 5 different plastic cups? Because that's a crazy amount of waste.
