    Hello Miwa-san…..I love all these noodle recipes!! I always get such good ideas and inspiration from you. And I find your videos so soothing…..I think it’s the music you use in the background. Your boys are growing up so fast and they are tough critics lol 😂. Kio tsukete 😊🇨🇦

    I'm going to make the curry soup and the spicy tofu together as a meal this week. I think the soup and the tofu will go well together, with some rice. It sounds like it would make a nice breakfast too!

    Thanks Miwa! Another great video 😊 I have a question. I live alone, and love the idea of the miso soup with lots of vegetables, but there is no way to make that for one. What do you do with leftover miso soup? Can you store it in the fridge? How do you reheat it ( I know you are not supposed to boil miso) Thank you so much!!!!

    • @celticlass8573
      @celticlass8573 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can keep it in the fridge for a couple of days, depending on what's in it (some stuff like cooked zucchini wouldn't hold up well), and I would re-heat it in a small pot personally.
      As for making it for one, how about making the soup base, and then freezing the unused broth in portions? Then all you have to do is re-heat it with fresh vegetables.

    These look so easy and tasty! My husband and I also love the spicy! Noodles are great for me anytime! I just happen to have some tofu in my fridge so I'm going to try the Jyajyamen this week! I love your kids' very real reactions and the candid shots of the "hmmm, how's homework going?" lol I remember those days, haha

    My husband loves spicy, and as you said, with my daughter getting older hshe can handle more spice, but still not uoto what my husband likes. Sometimes that's even too spicy for me. Usually he has something like shichimi, or rayu or hot sauce he can add.
    Besides a traditional yaki soba with lot of veggies (that I like making with udon), I love to make a quick mayo egg yaki udon that is mellow so pairs well with other dishes. In teh summer I love hiyashi chuka with a sour shoyu dipping sauce, though for my daughter I make it with shiro dashi as she does not like the sour taste. And simle somen with a dipping sauce. Thinking about it i make more noodle dishes in summer then winter for some reason. Though I make a quick version of budae jjigae all year round. I still have to see if i can make the soup from scratch.

    "Help me later" When I tell you I cracked up 😂😂
    Btw, a random question I only just thought of, but do you do desserts? I don't remember every second of every video of yours but it seems you mostly do main courses? I would be interested to know if you actually eat dessert at all

    • @celticlass8573
      @celticlass8573 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think desserts are mostly relegated to treats.

    I wonder if we can eat this cold with women noodles instead? Like a cold noodle soup?
    Edit: your kids are so cheeky, but you handle their criticism so well.

    Is that second one like a Korean noodle dish?

    • @MiwasJapaneseCooking
      @MiwasJapaneseCooking  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes,it's originally from china.
      Many Japanese appreciate other cultures around us and tweak them in our own way. My recipe might not be an authentic chinese version but with my respect to chinese culture.

    I'm team spicy for sure, but there's a limit. Like if I were in India or Korea, I would never tell someone from there that I was team spicy, because their version of spicy is INSANE and being within a block of something they consider spicy would probably do me in!
