Another beautiful duet a couple of years ago (in China again as Dimash is constantly in demand in every huge musical festical concerts) is a duet with a major composer/singer Chang Shilei who composed "Heaven and Earth" th-cam.com/video/XSLU6ALNWOI/w-d-xo.html (part of the Silk Road Festival). They only had one afternoon to rehearse so it's more a point/counterpoint duet with harmony at the end. It's one of my favorites. Also, duets in Russia - Ti Amo Cosi trio with Aida Garifulina and Lara Fabian is wonderful. Ulisse duet with Aida Garifulina fabulous. Both on Dimash's TH-cam channel. Both songs composed by Igor Krutoy. Many more wonderful duets and two Queen medleys with multiple singers (Forever Queen with Super Vocal Boys from Singer 2019 and a 2021 team from Shine Super Brothers).

I have been following Xiao Yun for longer than Dimash, and nothing could have delighted me more than seeing them reunited three times during this Mid-Autumn Festival (in another duet, "Red moon rules" and in a trio with Terry Lin). Dimash never outings his duet partners, although he could easily do so. He is always very considerate, putting the song, not himself, at the center.- Oh, and these performances are often pre-recorded on Chinese TV, so I doubt she really had to sing in a dangling boat.
Xiaoyun has a very wide range also, you should check out her other duet with Dimash, "Red Moon Rules". I suspect this is not live, these big production numbers rarely are. It's more of a music video. But those are their voices.

the lyrics should give you an interpretation of what the song is about and why the stage is the universe. Dimash against that backdrop shows how each of us represent humanity in the vastness of the universe yet despite the problems that confront us (wind and waves) etc.. we are still bigger than our problems and we can do better without arrogance or servility at being the captain of our own destiny (ship with Xiaoyun). that's my brief take on it anyway, just from some of the lines that caught my attention. Having followed Dimash's career for some years now it's easy to see the pattern of peace, unity, and friendship that shines through some of these beautiful creations he sings. it's so uplifting for me. I hardly listen to pop western music anymore bc the lyrics to me are mostly meaningless. but Dimash is different he brings these wonderful images that gives hope in a world that's in pain. his voice paints stories with these songs, a blessing to the ears hearts minds and soul of those like him who care about the state of our planet and the human race. I personally like her Shamanistic style however, I seem to like anything that her vocals are in. I do like when she is trying to grab the soul... which she has been lacking for a bit; just saying. Diana's strongest point is not in manipulation, but in being who she really is. She is still young, but she can change the world to be a better place... and I have faith that she will. I have been following Xiao Yun for longer than Dimash, and nothing could have delighted me more than seeing them reunited three times during this Mid-Autumn Festival (in another duet, "Red moon rules" and in a trio with Terry Lin).
Xiao Yun is the daughter of music teachers and graduated top of her class from the most prestigious Chinese conservatory of operatic arts. She sings Handel, Offenbach and Rossini just as masterfully as dreamy ballads like "I Do Everything to Repay My Love" or post-apocalyptic OSTs like "Oracle."
In China, she has various nicknames that shed light on her vocal abilities, such as "The Lung," "Dolphin Princess," and even "Bread" as this young lady loves cooking and eating almost as much as she loves singing. She will turn 26 in a month, marking a decade of performing on stage.

Dimash never outings his duet partners, although he could easily do so. He is always very considerate, putting the song, not himself, at the center.- Oh, and these performances are often pre-recorded on Chinese TV, so I doubt she really had to sing in a dangling boat.
He’s sung with Xiaoyun three other times. 😊 She is predicted to become the next megastar in China.

the lyrics should give you an interpretation of what the song is about and why the stage is the universe. Dimash against that backdrop shows how each of us represent humanity in the vastness of the universe yet despite the problems that confront us (wind and waves) etc.. we are still bigger than our problems and we can do better without arrogance or servility at being the captain of our own destiny (ship with Xiaoyun). that's my brief take on it anyway, just from some of the lines that caught my attention. Having followed Dimash's career for some years now it's easy to see the pattern of peace, unity, and friendship that shines through some of these beautiful creations he sings. it's so uplifting for me. I hardly listen to pop western music anymore bc the lyrics to me are mostly meaningless. but Dimash is different he brings these wonderful images that gives hope in a world that's in pain. his voice paints stories with these songs, a blessing to the ears hearts minds and soul of those like him who care about the state of our planet and the human race.
