I could watch a 20 minute video of Hiro just cutting stuff up. That knife in the begining of the video looked like it could chop a ham bone in two. These are the best cooking vids on TH-cam. Thanks guys!
Best part of the video for a suscriber: The "good afternoon part" and when he tries the food and nods. Cause that means that you saw it from the beginning to the end without blinking.
Chef Hiro is definitely a pleasure to watch, makes me miss my cooking days in high school when I had a cooking class. I definitely want to get back into cooking.
Once again, Hiro is a master. I watch all of your videos and I've only progressed with my food in the kitchen. I love cooking with a slight Japanese influence on everything. Keep it up, Hiro!
Love the video shows the whole process starting from cutting vegetable and chicken. The dish looks so delicious and fresh! Can’t wait to try this recipe! 👍
"I can't wait to try this because you said this is one of the more popular dishes in the restaurant you worked in Japan right?" *long pause* "Thank you very much."
I felt like I was actually standing next to Hiro while he showed me how to make this dish. Most videos on TH-cam don't impart the same feeling. Excellent dish. Excellent videography.
i tried this for our yoru okazu and its really good.. and its easy to make.. i usually buy this kind of food in the supermarket ( ready to eat ) but now i know how to make it .. my husband and my daughter like it too..thank you so much .
Hiroyuki Terada - Diaries of a Master Sushi Chef .. Oh yes . today its my first time to make yakitori for our dinner but i didnt have the teriyaki sauce so i search in youtube to find one.. well its taberareru 😂😂but the taste is a little strong.. i saw your teriyaki sauce video , sadly i dont have a honey in my fridge so i tried the other video recipe.. im making obento for my husband so i need easy recipe video too .. your recipe really help me alot and learn new japanese easy recipe.. thank you and i will continue watching and suggest in also to my friend thank you again .. and by the way theres no leftover of my yakitori .. 😁😁👍🏻
I started watching a few wks ago and subscribed. Hiro San is just amazing, agree deboning is an art. Watching him cook actually is like a therapy to me , I watch a few every night before I go to bed and it relaxes me.. on this particular dish did any one catch what Hiro San said about cooking the chicken for 2 mins and then putting it in the oven; what temp, how long?-thanks
Chef Hiro, great recipe! Makes my mouth water! When are you showing us a tutorial of how to do the katsuramuki cutting technique? Would really want to learn that to make garnishes!
How could anyone not like that dish? You gentlemen have so much fun, and eat a good meal while doing it. I've told many people over the years, if you're doing something you love to do, with the people you enjoy being with, and are making money while having fun, it's not really a "job." It's getting paid to have fun with your friends, and that makes me a happy man. I'm hungry again:) By the way, I don't mind the blue fingers. Lol. Take care.
your knife skills have me staring at the TV. Cannot stop watching. Your new knifes are AMAZING and my god they are super sharp!! I am going to get 1 of them. Not sure which 1 I would get the most use from... Can you recommend which 1 would be the most versatile for the home chef?? thank you for your advice and the great videos... The comments about your hands being dirty are from people who don't cook and or didn't watch complete video. anyone who watches your videos knows your super clean and keep everything you use clean!!!
Camera Guy: "What have we got going on in the kitchen today Hiro?" Hiro: "Deliciousness." I was surprised to see you cook the chicken in a skillet and not the deep fryer. I love watching you slice things. So perfect. That dish looks delicious. See you next time!
Thank you for the recipe Terada-san! I'm definitely going to try this. I made Chef Terada's yaki udon and it turned out excellent. Can't wait to try this one and maybe make it donburi style as he said as a suggestion.
I have cleaned and butchered thousands of animals, from fish to large game. Somehow I have never been able to debone a chicken thigh without just massacring it. I generally end up with chicken nuggets.
Hiroyuki Terada - Diaries of a Master Sushi Chef just got done completing this dish there wasn't any complaints from anyone, so you know it was good, Thanks again
I always felt a little sorry for the cameraman that was never active in the tasting part... You did it today and this is great because now we have an extra point of view. Your comments were interesting. Keep it on, and keep on your great vids. Cheers from France, another food country ;)
Hiro, yet another very simple dish as stated. I had no idea the washed cabbage would turn the water...and your hands...blue lol. While slicing the cabbage, why were you separating, removing leaves? Was it simply to ease slicing? Thanks for sharing another great recipe.
what does the Daikon Radish taste like??? It looked very good and I like the idea of washing of the cabbage color!!! I never thought of that before preparing so your food!!! Thanks for the great idea.
If you don't have an oroshi grater you can blend daikon chunks in a blender on pulse with a little bit of water (filled to the same level as the daikon) and drain the excess moisture in a strainer
We should get hiroyuki in the next youtube rewind, hes a legend
Everything I've made from Hiro's series has been SO GOOD!
He is so generous, sharing all these delicious recipes!
Nothing like a Hiro video to keep you hungry at nearly 3 AM :D
Aint that the truth!!
made me so hungry i had to make my self a sandwhich
Same here... I think I'm gonna make myself a mayo sandwich...
EndNoble lol 3 AM, in Germany is it 10 AM
How did you know :o
The sound of the knife peeling the exterior of the daikon is sooo soothing 😍
I could watch a 20 minute video of Hiro just cutting stuff up. That knife in the begining of the video looked like it could chop a ham bone in two. These are the best cooking vids on TH-cam. Thanks guys!
Thank you for the recipe, Terada-san! It's great that you sometimes explain different ways of doing things.
Hehe, I was about to go to sleep but you know what, I need to watch this!
Thank you for the amazing cooking videos, they make me hungry.
I like Hiro’s simplicity and humility. Although he is a great renowned chef. It’s a nice change from European chefs like Gordon Ramsay.
so therapeutic to watch knife work
Best part of the video for a suscriber: The "good afternoon part" and when he tries the food and nods. Cause that means that you saw it from the beginning to the end without blinking.
I don't know why it's so calming and hypnotising to watch hiro chop things. Fantastic vid guys, now I'm hungry!
I love these Japanese food videos. While all the sushi you guys show are amazing, these are more accessible to make and easy to follow.
Cant stop watching these vidieos, Hiro is the Man. Watching from Germany, makes me miss home.
The sound of the knife hitting the cutting board sounds so soothing to me
Chef Hiro is definitely a pleasure to watch, makes me miss my cooking days in high school when I had a cooking class. I definitely want to get back into cooking.
