Dude nice trip! We were out on the 26th and totally crushed them! We had 30 to 40 fish and 10 or more were in the 25 to 30 pound class. Most were over 30". Biggest was 41 or 42". Unbelievable spring! We crushed them the week before but they were smaller. The run started early this year!
How bout using some heavier gear with these big fish? It may be fun (if your a newbie) for you but a bass fought to exhaustion is the reason why we have C&R mortality rates. Thanks
Just found your channel!. Would love to fish with you guys. Is there any age limit?, my daughter is 11, but a good fisherman. We have our own channel as well. Wanna get her on a good striper. Thanks!
"It's March! What is going on?" It amazes me how many fisherman still don't believe in global warming after the last few years . We see it firsthand. We don't have to participate in any political debate. Awesome fishing guys!
Hey if it’s so warm in March, why don’t you dive right in and go swimming in Raritan Bay? Then I’ll join you on the beach and we’ll soak in the rays with a Pina Colada and ogle those girls on the beach who are there to escape the sweltering March heat.
The bass are in! Great job, guys. Beautiful fish.
Nice! I'm coming out with a striped bass pendant soon!
Nice work John. You're killing it. Can't wait to get out there again with you. Just Sayin Tight lines.

I dont have a boat any good spots right now to fish I was thinking Verazano Bridge. Thoughts? I am new to NYC area as well.
Armen Boyagian that is a good area but I wouldn’t suggest it for this time of year
Translation: that’s his secret hot spot at this time of year and he doesn’t want anyone to know that secret.
Chunkin at the end? Couldn’t tell if it was on a fish finder rig or just a circle hook on leader..? Nice day on the water though!
