I met a woman I met online last month in Vietnam and she offered me to stay at her parents house…the parents are in their 50s, are retired, and all they do is sit at the front porch all day long….things were normal until the parents allowed her to sleep with me in my room…the next day the mom started asking about my job…1 week later she started asking me for money…the 8 year old kids would also come up to me asking for gifts and money…long story short…I blew away 6k total on gifts and money during my 3 weeks stay 😞
So basically you was an ATM machine for them 😁 Some lessons are expensive. You should immediately when they start to ask for money find a hotel or airbnb for you ! Just cut it off right away!
I was told from day 1 after I arrived, don't buy a house with a woman. No property rights for foreigners..... After 2 years of being together she said buy a house or condo, or she will leave. So she left. And that's why you won't see me at Vinhomes anymore Chris. I moved to a hotel.
Not entirely true. I believe foreigners can buy condos or apartments with or without a vn partner. Not sure of the ins and outs but a good lawyer is recommended.
If you're legally married in Vietnam and buy property together, though the title is solely under her name because the transaction gets processed much easier, she won't be able to sell it without you as the legal spouse signing off.
I've been with my VN missus for 2 years. We own 2 successful businesses together. She always asks me before she buys anything even though I've told her there's no need to ask. Her family have offered us their house in Thot Not as they work in Saigon. I got really lucky with this girl. The one before her had big pockets. Any VN girl that has more foreign male friends on Facebook than Vietnamese friends is dodgy af.
Thot Not is a place in South Viet Nam. about 90% those nightmare story about VNese Girl, Women are from North Vietnamese. The South women are so much better, and so are their parents.

Narrative completely changed when I lost weight, came back with a six pack, dressed much nicer and financially well off.
