according to budget the option of changing pin is a great feature but have to admit that the microphone quality for calling is really poor and also the absence of Hi-Res codecs will create a negative impression.
That's incredibly cheap and I like how they designed the charging case, more like a hard shell fabric carry case.. And the interchangeable adapters are a great idea.. They could have made them fit better within the charging case, with an IEM attached, since that is how most people would like to have them fit.. I don't see them being very functional, when putting them into the charging case.. They do look nicely built though.. Just that issue with the fitting inside the case would be a big issue for some, myself included..
woahh, very useful and cheap product, thanks for bringing this up btw im not a fan of this bgm, its too busy and distracting.. i even thought it was environment noise at first. but this is just my personal opinion
Comparison to AZ09 Pro is desirable. As a side note, those with metal shell IEMs (especially KZ ZVX-black) probably don't want BT20XS as those IEM will rub against each other. As mentioned by other reviewer, ZVX's paint is cheap and easily torn out (happened to my unit as well).
I use my s12 pro on the kz az10 without problems, which has an average autonomy of 6 hours, since TRN says that the BT20XS has 40 hours of use, is that true? Fernando de ilheus- Bahia BRASIL,OBRIGADO!
@@maxinvictus Considering ian is a reliable reviewer, he would have mentioned if the product has some sort of hissing going on. (if u have your trust on him)

as in the volume level? hmm i don't feel much difference in terms of volume level as compared to the kz, for all we know they might even come out from a similar factory.
Forget about Bluetooth codecs, the iem drivers and tuning are much more important. I've streamed SBC from my laptop to Sony A55, sounds great, also Sudio E2 and Bose quietcomfort sound sound better than a lot of crap with LDAC. My Shure TWS adapters have no hi-res codecs either and sound very good.
I bought this module to replace the KZ AZ10 that at the beginning of use had 8 hours of battery life, now it only reaches between 5 and 6 hours using it connected to the S12 PRO and this BT20XS on the 1st day of use reached 13 hours and 40 minutes but after 2 months of use the module on the right side started to fail and a week later the module on the left also started to have the same problem. IN SUMMARY THIS BT20XS IS A "SHIT" MODULE DON'T BUY IT! So I don't lose everything, I'm going to turn his charger into a case.

@@xPandamonYeah this adapter works better on less sentivive budget iEM from my testing it has way less noise floor and get much louder I think you gonna need a more premium adapter to drive a planar iEMS

Background music: a samba in Rio? 😂

Could you please test the other cheap BT-earhooks and compare them? 😄
Bought this over a week ago, looking forward to trying them myself 🔥
Just got mine in and waiting for it to charge! Thanks for the review!
How are they?
Hi Ian, can this drive the KZ PR2? Did you try pairing with it? Thanks again for the detailed review. Very helpful!
I have the same question
@ianfann we need to know please !
@@fuad000100 utws5 can, but yeah $130 + $20 for an adapter
i am curious as well.
No problem, unless one is determined to ruin hearing as soon as possible😏
The constant music in the background, that is what that has killed the video
Love the design choice where you don't have to remove the connection on the iem itself if you plan to unplug it from the bt adapter
How much details you lose on comparison to the cable audio? Like, when listening to spotfy?
Well to start u are using the lowest quality streaming service to ever exist literally horrible

I assume it's 40 including the case battery
I bought the KZ AZ09. They are good but has a persistent hiss. Does this have a background hiss?
u should've chose AZ09 Pro.. because it does not.
The caveat is the higher price tag.

One problem is the size. Slim it down at least 30%, and put in place the latest tech (the same as TRN T350, QCC 3071).
I prefer the ones that are like wireless cables (Trn bt3s, for example) than these that look like hearing aids.

It's interesting that there is no universal shape for iem, but it's all supposed to go in a similar shaped ear.
Hi Ian, it would be awesome if you could review and compare the new Moondrop Little White with the Shanling MW 2000...
Hi ian.. do you know if fiio is gonna do a newer utws version after the utws5?
Yes ldac would be nice.

@@ianfann shame they not say what chip they using
I take it that because they 'come close' to wired connections, and their codecs on top of that, that they're not really recommended for Planar IEMs
