    Hello from North Carolina. I am here on the recommendation of Lori Brown at Whippoorwill Hollow-and am so thankful she suggested your channel. Your herbs are beautiful. I have grown many herbs for years but had no idea how to make tea. Thank you so much!! Melody B

      Grow Joy usually has apple mint, but it is currently out of stock. It looks like Walmart, of all places, may have it available to ship, but it's expensive. Sorry I can't give you any good recommendations. Blessings to you!❤

    Thankyou so much for the free ebook, Carrie! I have an over abundance of lemon balm under my peach tree, plus some small plants of chocolate mint and spearmint in the garden! I've been on the hunt for some comfrey plants, but haven't found any yet in our area! Looking forward to making lots of cold teas this summer with our children!

I am wondering what plants you have in your "White Garden" My beautiful mother passed away a few weeks ago, and I would like to plant one in her memory. We received a lovely angel wind chime that I will add to the garden. We are in Zone 4. Thank you and God Bless you and your family.

    Are there any herbs or do you have any suggestions for how to keep the ticks at bay? We live in Douglas County Missouri and the ticks are SO busy this time of year!!! We recently got baby chicks and baby turkeys in the hope that once they are bigger and able to free range they will help keep the ticks at bay but in the mean time do you have any suggestions on what to do to keep them off?

    • @1000sofroots
      @1000sofroots  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The ticks seem to be particularly bad this year.😟We don't use anything to deter them, but we do our best to stay out of weedy and woodsy areas. Right now we have about 70 Muscovy ducks free ranging, so I think they must help a little. 🙂We also do "tick checks" many times a day and before bed. We rarely have one that bites in for very long at all, but if we do, we put a drop of tea tree essential oil on the spot. I hope your new birds help. Blessings to you!❤
