My friend, I have that same scope, mounted on an AR308, with a two chamber muzzle brake. Here's a little secret.The concussive force, coming off of your brake will clear out a shooting gallery in fairly short order. I am amused and impressed with the feeling of it, when I let my daughter shoot and I stand at about her 4 o'clock. I like it. it makes me giggle. But it seems to make other people pack up and leave. So, don't let other people run you off. They will be gone, soon enough. That is a beautiful shooting system. Enjoy it. Sorry about the rest of your week.
I got the same rifle ...really cool shooting machine...the color is what it make it to be even more bad asss...308 that is way to go no matter what ...
Have the 308 myself I have nothing against the 6.5 but the 308 barrel just outlasts the 6.5 and you can get precut barrels if you decide you wanna try 6.5 it’s an easy swap. Enjoy it my friend I love the color, mine is a 1st Gen black with the Razor HD Gen 2 on it and I’m in love hope you get years of enjoyment out of it as I have.
Scope not mounted well. Scope rings way to close to bell and power ring. May be on taper on Scope tube which can damage Scope. Someone helped me thought I'd pass it along.
I don't have any experience with 300prc. Therefore, I won't try to offer advice lol. Although speaking in general terms of the Precision format, I love it in both my 308 and 22 configurations.
@@Just_The_Average_Dude I just talked to my gun guy second ago. He told me he would get it in a 308. If the world goes to shit, it’d be a lot easier to get a 308 cartridge over at 300 PRC.

Oh, I am liking that! 308 range is good to 300 yards. That gun with a 338 Lapua is good to 1000+ yards with enough energy to drop a Moose at that range! Would you go without the bipod? I'm curious if you are doing any hunting with that or are you doing match shooting at the range. I'm going to subscribe so you can update your shooting. Ha! The ears take a beating. I shot my 375H&H Magnum with my ear plugs in but my mouth open, I was punch drunk for 2 days!
1. Get rid of Harris bipod. 2. Need 30 MOA scooe mount if you want to take advantage of the scope and rifle capabilities. Recommend Spur. Other wise, all you have is a plain old rifle by another name. I recommend getting a side mount red dot. Not wearing ear plugs means your sloppy and will probably get yourself or someone else killed. Your brain is the weapon. The rifle is the tool. Better sharpen up!

I’ve been thinking about getting this in 300 prc. But idk if I want that or in 308

@jimshackelford_icu812 sound advice. I keep all my firearms in 308, 9mm, .22 and 12ga. Although I did venture out into 300 blk.

I've not hunted with it. Just mainly a range toy for now. Trying to dial in a hand load for it. Thank you for subscribing, it means a lot!!
