Great stuff, brother! I clearly need to go back to Hartig, because I missed the pond and the well/cellar or whatever it is. So cool. Great colors and atmosphere in this one. I like the mushroom macros, the dinner sequence, and the sounds of the cicadas and crickets and katydids. The shot at 7:45 is my favorite. It's great to see you enjoying Jr. after all the time and work you put into him! You earned this trip and many more like it.

That van is so awesome!~ What was the cave you went into? Obviously someone's home at one time. That was so cool.....Are there no wild critters down there that should give you the heebie jeebies?? Great stuff...as always.
I assumed it was an old root cellar or something. The park was donated by the family that used to live and farm in the land. There's a family cemetery nearby too. Speaking of heebie jeebies....the tall grass where I found the dead fall wood, was full of Chiggers! Big mistake on my part! I'm still itching!
ick.....Ahhhhh....that makes sense, a root cellar...but still weird.....with the smoke hole in the top...at least that's what I think. lol

Yep! That's chigger heaven behind JR! Pretty sure that's where I got them, since I waded thru weeds to cut up a dead fallen tree.
