I like these interviews with Bischoff, he does talk like a lawyer at times but thats because hes intelligent. Also seems like a very humble dude, very rarely in these shoots with the old timers do I hear them take blame for anything.
It says a lot about both Eric and Vince being able to work together after trying to kill each others organization's

Eric Bischoff is one of my all time favorite wrestling performers. Even though he doesnt actually wrestle, i usually believed in whatever he was doing. I think he is very underrated.

Vince has a 24k Golden Tongue, if he wants to sell you on something, if you are 10% interested, he is going to land that deal, I envy that type of talent.

Ppl can bash Vince all they want, but one thing I'll defend him on is giving second chances.. He gave his Nemesis and arch rival a job when he didnt have to at all. Ppl will respond "wwe humiliated eric etc" Eric got paid 6-7 figures, got to kiss Vinces wife and daughter and work in wrestling. Vince is actually a good guy

Here we are in 2019 and Bischoff is moving to Connecticut.
Paul Rivera you posted this five months ago and it’s amazing that he worked for them and is now after moving to Connecticut and everything is no longer with them and has moved on that’s a lot of change for a person in his lifestyle within just five months crazy 😝
He says that he (pronouns pal) thought McMahon probably thought of him as a clown. Well Vince just called you back after years to come help save his company. So Eric I dont think he looks at you as a clown.
I think vince probably has a lot of respect for Eric. I mean Eric is the only person that has ever had Vince against the ropes.
Fast forward to 2019 and Eric is moving to Stamford for his new key role with the company. Couldn't be more interested in a brand being legit run by Eric beyond a character role on TV. 'Grats Eric!

Scott Beck Eric Bischoff was a great manager and my favorite manager in wwe history but wrestling wouldn’t be there with out hulkamania as well or Andre the Giant, Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage,the list goes on those guys built the foundation wrestling stood on Eric was one of the things that helped that last his wwe theme is my second favorite behind Hulk Hogan’s theme song

I probably like other people thought that would have never ever happened ever after the Monday night wars. It proves it Vince McMahon looked at the big picture regardless of whatever happened in the past between him and Eric Bischoff that and another company would've hired Bischoff anyway like TNA. Plus it also says alot about Eric Bischoff to accept the job offer too after those years.
hated this guy as a teenager... but looking at it now he is the greatest gm of all time. i always felt like he got a say in storylines. everything felt like eric bischoffs ideas

Here's my question for anyone in the know.... Why was Eric bitter about it? Vince won the Monday Night Wars and yet Eric showed up at WWE like nothing. I would have maybe been bitter and not gone over out of spite.
His wrestling industry work ended without even a splat at the time. He figured he would never work for WWE after all he did and at the time there was no competition for him to go to. Of course he was bitter lol.

AEW is AWFUL! They will 'sink' just like every other 'promotion' that has tried to compete with WWE. There's a reason WWE has and always will be successful - Genius marketing strategies, multiple brands etc. WWE truly is "Then-Now-Forever",..~ Ive seen that on AEW, they (the 'wrestlers') try too hard to bad-mouth WWE and it seems to be because they have no other way to beat WWE except to rip WWE because they are afraid of flopping just like all of the other 'upstart' wrestling-promotions. In reality, AEW is an abysmal product and it won't last long, i can assure you of that. Trans-gender 'wrestlers' aren't going to sell tickets and sell-out arenas. I watched their last show, and it was pretty obvious that the arena WASN'T filled to capacity in fact it looked like they blacked out the empty seats. The first 15-20 rows of seats were full but behind them was empty. Also, if my hearing was correct, it sounded like there was more 'crowd-noise' than the actual crowd that was there, meaning they must have been piping in the crowd noise to supplement the noise level that just wasn't there to begin with. I gave AEW a chance, watched it with an 'open-mind' and being that I've been a huge wrestling fan since the 70's with Bob Luce's wrestling on Channel 44, AWA, WCCW, NWA, etc etc. I just can't see what the big hype about AEW is all about. WWE wasn't very concerned about Jericho leaving for AEW and it's easy to see why. Jericho is overweight and way past his prime. His 'gimmick' is old & stale and just isn't very impressive anymore. nor is he funny, even though he desperately tries to be! - I would bet that when AEW does flop, Jericho WON'T be welcomed back to WWE because they won't want him back. Same goes for Ambrose, or Moxley or whatever name he's using. He too, burnt his bridge with WWE and will not be welcomed back when he's looking for a job in a year when AEW bites the dust. Even Dixie Carters TNA was more interesting to watch towards their awful end than AEW is now, and that's saying somethin'!! AEW doesn't impress me the least bit. Bad programming, to say the least! Also, Cody Rhodes is VERY overrated, the only thing that he did that was half way entertaining was 'StarDust', and I'm pretty sure, that was Vince's idea and Cody didn't like doing it. Vince knew that being StarDust was the only thing that would get Cody 'over'. Other than that, he's just a bland, not very good wrestler that isn't very good at promos either..
