    Just got my Legion Go, it's an absolute unit of a device.
    Super intuitive, didn't have any issues with anything. The FPS mode is just brilliant (does take a bit of getting used to).

    Last year i spent a lot of time to before i got a PC handheld, and i skipped Rog Ally because of only one USB and broken SD.
    I ended up with Legion Go because it's basically a Gaming Laptop in a handheld, and i bought it on day 1 at launch. 3 months later it's still perfect for me. I also have a dock on mine so i can connect it to TV or Monitor among other things. Lenovo keeps people updated every week, and they release new major updates frequently. Lenovo also checks out user requests on their forum every week and implement them. Steam Deck is the best for casuals, but i think Legion Go is the best for PC gamers. If i need VRR i just use my gaming PC instead.

    Also the 512Gb
    So far i had No issues with the graphics drivers and BIOS Update or even the legion Space
    I could be designt better but looking at the mentioned Bugs online… i didnt notice any
    The battery vould be better
    But to be hones i havn‘t really changed the settings for balancing mode or effeciency
    I have to change the resolution and refreshrate to 60

    do you miss vrr or is not so huge important as other people try to show? do you feel stuttering even with >60fps? and is so noisy in comparison with the rog ally? I like rog ally too much rog ally but I also like huge screens... is easier for you manage windows than in the rog ally because is bigger and you can see everything bigger? thanks in advance 🙏

    • @milkmanchannel1
      @milkmanchannel1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      VRR is definitely the strongest trait the Ally has going for it and was really the only real reason I was considering it. Out of the 4 games I've really played on it (Power wash simulator, armored core 6, lies of P, and hot wheels unleashed 2) hot wheels is really the only one that has had any frame issues at all, and even then they are incredibly minor and it's still more than playable. Everything else has been as stable as can be.
      As far as fan noise goes, I have no other comparison points so I don't have a lot to say there. Is it quiet? I'd say no. But is it obnoxiously loud? I'd also say no.
      The bigger screen is definitely nice, especially since Windows is so crappy on tablets right now. And I have read a lot of people online returned their Ally and got the Go because of the difference in screen size and resolution.
      If you are happy with your Ally, I see no reason to get rid of it. I have a hard time imagining that the Go is gonna be that different in terms of performance and stuff. But if you really want a bigger screen and detachable controllers and stuff, maybe try it out.

      @@milkmanchannel1thanks for your reply! my main reason to change is about the microsd reader that fail again and again but also i feel that the screen size will be the best point changing to legion go. I can not see so good text and windows interface in a so small screen

      I have VRR/G-Sync on my gaming PC, so i didn't care about that on a handheld. Big 1600p screen with 144hz made me buy Legion Go. Legion Go is also the one people prefer if you wanna use it as a desktop PC connected to a monitor, TV or something with a dock.

    • @betomacias9515
      @betomacias9515 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Are yo suffering with the fan noise? is similar to a laptop yes but coming from a Rog Ally that could be configured so silent.. is strange that Lenovo force the users to bear so high fan noise. Actually the components except microsd can work safe at close to 95 degrees @@V3ntilator

      It comes down what do YOU want and what you need tbh. Lego has raw power and windows. Big screen and detachable controllers. The oled has ergonomics and amazing software. Nice screen and great battery life.
      Do your homework and deep dive on research on these. There is no single "best" handheld out of the big 3. Real talk.
      Currently, I have an oled and I'm loving every minute of it. Best of luck!

      I had the same dilemma. I have the day 1 deck lcd and I loved it got me back into gaming. I also have the oled switch and hardly played it with owning the steam deck. I skipped the asus ally because of the problems and decided to see what happens with the windows handhelds. The asus got a lot of things worked out. So I almost bought a deck oled but even though it got better the hardware really didn’t change much so I don’t think it will hold up great in the future. I bought the lenevo go yesterday based on I believe the competition for handhelds is going to explode and get really competitive. After seeing asus get fixes out pretty quick I think lenevo will do the same plus the screen is different than all the others because of its size. I just think the lenevo will have best longevity before moving on to the next latest and greatest
