Cavario doesn't seem to be aware that Hong Kong was under British/UK democratic rule in the 1980s and after the handover to the Chinese Communist Party in the 90s, things changed even though the CCP promised the UK & the World that they'd not interfere with Hong Kong's autonomy

Yea Hong Kong was a UK Colony until 1997. The mainland Chinese Communist Party recently over the past few years has greater control over Honk Hong government and restrictions on freedom and expressions of speech. That includes newspapers, books, movie films, social media if the CCP doesn't agree with it. Still a great place to visit tho.
