    Floyd stayed away from drugs and alcohol, worked damn hard, and stayed in shape year round. That's an unbeatable combination. Floyd is a legend.

      For real man, I was hooked on the Pacquiao fight that shit starting to look underrated now. The fight, relative to their old age and both way out of their prime showed prime-like elite boxing skills, they both showed it all that night. Damn.

    What I respect the most about Floyd is that no matter how much shit he talks to and about the opponent, it's never personal with him. Just strictly business. Doesn't let it get personal at all. Great sportsmanship

    • @TheAleach111
      @TheAleach111 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andre Gaudin Except for Castillo, Gatti, De La Hoya, and Pac! Not disagreeing with u. Just saying for those fights he was vocal a little more than most of his fights.

    • @G4status
      @G4status 7 ปีที่แล้ว +46

      TheAleach111 He did that to sell the fight and after the fight he showed that it was nothing personal and just business as he embrace them.

    Wow. I’m in disbelief. I’m 26 years old and was too young to appreciate Floyd back in the day and lately I’ve been watching old may weather highlights and I had no idea who “pretty boy Floyd” was. I always had nothing but love for Floyd and considered him to be one of the best but I never knew that he was literally destroying entire weight classes. He made this ndou fight look like a clinic and ndou was considered one of the best in the world. He’s been absolutely dominant his entire career but he was such a genius that he was able to evolve his technique to dominate in another fashion besides brute force. Incredible. Thanks for this video

    This is so dope watching this after he has retired and to see that he talked about fighting smart, longevity, calling out people he supposedly ducked, and not being afraid to fight anybody. Whoever doesn't believe Floyd is an all time great is just a hater, point blank period.

    • @fredinatub
      @fredinatub 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I dont know were i stand when it comes to Floyd i used to respect everything he has done in the ring but when i found out he used PEDS in a lot of his fights my opinion changed. I know a lot of fighters use them but the fact Floyd used them but wouldnt let his opponent's get pain shots before fights and wouldnt let them use certain gloves when fighting him i started to think of him as a fraud which is a shame because he is a world class fighter but he will never go down in the history books as one of the best because of the PED use and a lot of other things as well which is a shame.

      fredinabun I know where you stand. You display symptoms of a certain type of illness. This illness goes back to the beginning of time. Sadly many are sick and unaware. Many know they are sick and hell bent on contaminating the greater populous. The sickness is a form of psychopathology thats never yet been properly addressed or cured and is highly contagious.
      My friend your sickness will not allow you to be a fan of Floyd, you show deep rooted symptoms of a psychopathic nature that drives you to prey on people just like Floyd. Society has different names for this specific sickness but the problem is that the people who define the names are themselves infected.
      The code for the cure has never been unlocked but i understand the key lays in accepting and appreciating everyman as coming from the same womb. Until that acceptance you'll remain a psychopath.

    • @fredinatub
      @fredinatub 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Im not a Floyd hater but they are a lot of things about him that you cant shrug off and because of those things he will never go down in the history books as one of the best because everyone in the business knows that he used PEDS in a lot of his fights and that in the contracts for fights he used to want every advantage he could get like not letting ppl wear certain gloves. He paid Maidana 1.5 million dollar's to not wear mx gloves that have horse hair in them. When he fought Ricky Hatton the ref he picked wouldnt let Ricky fight on the inside every time Hatton got on Floyds chest the ref pulled them apart and the reason everyone knew something was up with this is because before that night the ref who's name i cant remember had always let fighter's fight on the inside so everyone knew the guy must of been paid off. They are a lot more other things as well.
      What i will bring up is the proof that Floyd got caught using PEDS for the Pacman fight this is 100% truth what im going to say and all the info is out there for you to read but a lot of Floyd fans still wont accept it but here is what happened 24 hours before the fight with Pacman. After the weigh in USADA whom Floyd paid them 225 thousand dollar's to test him for that fight when he could of used WADA for 14 thousand dollar's who are 100% credible unlike USADA so what was Floyd getting for his 225k deal ? He was getting a free pass to fail a test but not let that get out and for USADA to hide it and give him a pass. Anyway after the weigh in USADA went to Floyds house to test him but when they got there he had an IV drip in his arm and he put into his body an 100mil solution of something that covers up the use of PEDS which is illegal it has to be at a hospital and cant be more than 10mil and you need a TUE but Floyd didnt get that TUE until 18 days AFTER the fight and thats why after the fight Pacman's team took Floyd to court. Also after the weigh in Manny needed a pain shot for his shoulder injury but was not allowed to have it done which just goes to show you how Floyd works not only was he fighting Manny over 5 years to late he was fighting an injured Pacman while he was on PEDS and that is just what happened for 1 fight and its things like that why the people in the know didnt give Floyd a fair shake because he didnt deserve a fair shake he is a cheat and a liar.
      When he fights Mcgregor he will be using PEDS 100% i just hope Mcgregor goes for the body instead of trying to find Floyds chin. If he can keep giving Floyd body shots he has a chance to beat him and he should aim for Floyds shoulder aswell. Kill his body and his shoulder then the age will show but if it goes past 5 rounds i can see Mcgregor getting really tired and run out of steam.Floyd wants to charge fans 100quid to watch the fight on tv which is a disgrace and a bad move more ppl would buy it if it was 20quid and in the end they would make more money as most ppl will either stream it or go to the pub instead of paying 100quid at home or everyone will get they friends round and they will all chip in so it will be less buys. The reason i cant respect Floyd is because he says he is clean and fair but he anything but if he was honest i would like him but he is so fake i dont think he even knows who he is certainly not T.B.E.

    A lot of people will watch Floyd on the ropes for a moment during the 5th and Ndou wailing away and think that its good for Ndou. Floyd is just letting him tire himself out with completely ineffective punches. He did the same thing to so many boxers, and it always ended with the same result. Those three right punches were great. If you watch closely, his left hand prevents Ndou from blocking the 2nd right.

      This is a lesson in disguise of a successful black man if you love your black boys they need to hear this story this man is the definition of speaking what you want into existence by putting in the amount of work you believe it takes and then some show them how he came from a family of fighters the real problem, is black children don't have a family crest when I was growing up most of my friends would say my dad's dad was a mechanic and he was too I'm going to be a mechanic, or the same thing but with doctor or lawyer or electrician or carpenter something happens to a kid when your black and your teacher tells you black peoples history starts with slavery you feel defeated from the start and then you don't have dad with a legacy to leave and there is no one around you that looks like you that is successful this stuff is deep and it's easy to get into drugs because that's the first time you ever felt a glimpse of happiness and peace we have to do something I mean seriously the American black race is deleting itself

      Controversial wins where ? And please don't say Castillo because he even offered Castillo a rematch and he did the same for maidana.
      The pacman fight was already to hyped up in the first place Floyd is leagues better than PAC and u can't blame Floyd for that fight he fights the way he always does PAC didn't fight the way he always does because he was scared
      The overall uses A side thing is just dumb
      Water down he's fought the most high rated champions of his generation and one belts in five different weight classes against multi hall of fame fighters I'm pretty sure Floyd holds the record for most champions beat

One of 4 fighters who’s face would MOs definitely on boxing’s Mt Rushmore

    Pretty Boy Floyd was truly Xlint. His hands were still good.but when he left Arum and went to Haymon "the most money for the least risk" happened. Floyd said "Arum is pushing me too fast." Arum wanted him and was setting up fights with the undefeated monster Cotto, Paul Williams and Margarito. That's when Floyd said "it isn't about fighting harder, it's about fighting smarter I don't want to be the best but the richest " and Those fights didn't happen. It worked and Floyd became THE riches boxer, yep, it worked but no unifying any title. Floyd still is the best defensive fighter that I've ever seen just not close to TBE because of Haymon's philosophy. These years were his best.....My opinion.

    • @saintcruzin
      @saintcruzin 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Kris Caban Williams never had a contract with Floyd, Arum wanted Margarito first. His "pushing me and slave contracts" were from Arum wanting to match him in tough where Arum felt the money was. Haymon had different ideas....Which did work, you must give Floyd's team credit for having him become the wealthiest fighter in history. The "not wanting to be the best" is out of Floyd's mouth. It did work for him like no other fighter...

      +Lift1One Oh I was watching and won a pretty good sum of money when he fought Chico. I thought he would be too fast and outbox him, never thought he'd destroy Corrales. Oh I followed Floyd for years. Grown men are allowed to disagree.....it's my opinion he didn't make many of the fights I wanted him to win...We just disagree

      Do you actually believe that if Arum really owed Floyd, Floyd wouldn't win in court?? Mayweather felt he was underpaid, not getting his worth and that's different. I even wanted Floyd to go up to middleweight and fight Martinez. I felt Martinez was nearing the end and Floyd could take him...but too risky for Floyd and that would have been what people would call his best win. Fighting 3G is a 50/50 fight, especially at 154 and he should fight him IF 3G gets by Lemieux. I wanted him to fight Pacquiao and one young gun and that would really up him on the list of greats. With ALL the defensive fighters I've seen Floyd is #1 but not TBE. Opinions...I'm done.

      +saintcruzin You're talking out your dirty ass and not an ounce of facts just imaginary Bob Arum nonsense . Too many fighters have complained and ran from Bob Arum to not laugh at your foolish logic.

      "A brief history to those vaginas who truly believe that Pacman is a demi god:
      BRANDON RIOS: An absolute garbage fight. Rios was coming off a loss and was a 135Ibs fighter for fcuk's sake. Rios is a human punching bag to top it off
      ALGIERI: Prior to that fight, nobody on this planet knew who Algeiri was and it was a catch weight fight. One of many.
      MOSLEY: Was coming off a UD loss to Floyd. How the fcuk do you justify fighting a guy that was just completely beaten up?
      HATTON: Got destroyed by Floyd then spoon fed by Arum to Pacman.
      COTTO: Weight drained to fight at 145
      OSCAR: Weight drained to fight at 147
      CLOTTEY: WTF!! Another puching bag that just came in for a paycheck
      JESSE VARGAS: Why? Why not Crawford or Thurman or Brooks or a real WW?
      Pacman's record is littered with rematches after rematches (Marquez x4, Morales x3, Barrera x2, Bradley x3) - 12 fights Total."
