I think Carolina needs black accessories that match her binding. A casual white undershirt feels clownish because it plays up the rainbow. But something more formal and black brings out the more structured and classy elements while letter her boldness take center stage.

Carolina is incredibly beautiful. All the colors are incredible and the checkered pattern makes it not that extra. It seems like something you can wear daily just to lighten the mood and put more color into life. I would sure wear it in class as a teacher!
Keep it! I would've probably styled it with everything else being black to let it pop out more, more contrast, but I really like the white top and jeans look too. Edit to add: I also don't think it looks clowncore, more art student or theater major, definitely creative career path in university or college vibes, adult but youthful and creative.

Just wanted to say that 1) i love Carolina unbelted as a dress!! Especially with the underskirt. She doesn’t give me clown tbh - the shape of her and the colours are actually quite class. Very spring punk if that makes sense! And 2) you’ve inspired me to get a few nice belts to try with my old boring dresses, tops and skirts that I didn’t wear much because I was either bored with them or they weren’t flattering. It looks so nice and I’m excited to wear them again!! It completely refreshed the way they look, I just need to thrift a couple of nice bags to complete the outfits. I would keep! I love Carolina so much, she's so attention grabbing. I would personally just style her (either buttoned or unbuttoned) with a black turtleneck, some black straight leg trousers, plain black or jewel tone boots and with the hair up in a ponytail. Keep it sleek and let Carolina do the talking.

Me personally when I get an item of clothing that's got way too much color, I bring it down with the rest of the fit being fully neutral tones (usually black or white) depending on what looks best with it
I say keep it. I can't imagine myself styling it in ways you did! You're very creative in styling it and it became very versatile. Give her a chance, wear her 2-3x 😊
