Inoue has fought a taller fighter. He beat champion Jamie McDonnell at bantamweight. Dude was 5'9 on a 10 year streak. Bro was a certified weight bully, re-hydrated to 143 fight night against a younger Inoue at 118. Dude disrespected Inoue and came late to the weigh in. Inoue vowed to punish him and proceeded to demolish the dude in 1 round, give it a watch brother
Inoue is a genius in the reason. He out think his opponents and have the power to cut their lights off. That what makes him so dangerous and he got one hell of a chin
Bro honestly you’ll see the insane progression of his ability from his first to his current fights if you watched all his fights dude just gets better and better and you can see that he’s really a student of the game.
Great breakdown. Loved the fact that you highlighted his defense and rolling the punches. Cause people say he gets hit a lot, but he doesn’t really get “hit”. Also his inside work has been criticized, but just watching his sparring shows how good/comfortable he is on the inside. If you want to see him fight taller fighters, you should watch his amateur bouts (hard to look up tho cause it’s all in Japanese). He was pretty much always the smaller person there. Also at 8:10 that’s actually Hiroto Kyoguchi in orange lol. His style, gear, and build looks a lot like Inoue so his clips get confused a lot. Kyoguchi actually has a TH-cam channel with a lot of sparring/training that’s 100% worth the watch. Dudes transparent about everything unlike other pro fighters (but it’s also only in Japanese😂).
Good break-down. Inoue is a serious handful. Excellent, explosive footwork. Helps he has those strong legs, almost like Manny. Not one of these chicken-leg guys. Nonito Donaire, "The Phillipino Flash" -- hall of fame guy. And a lot of times, Inoue will choose to take one to give one. Once he decides your power isnt dangerous, then he will even let you connect to get you to open up. You have to be able to crack to beat Inoue, seriously. ❌ NEIGH-OH ✔️ NAH-OH-YAH By the way, Inoue KOed at taller guy. Inthink Jamie McDonnell. Think he's 5'10 or so. Inoue obliterated him.
Idk what you menat by "he mastered his way to use his power". He is gifted with and born with heavy hands which cant be acquired. Not taking any skill away from him.
@@MichaelKing-tp6lecause inoue is the smaller guy. Makes no sense for the guy that started at 108 to fight at 135 when Inoue has already said 130 pounders are too big if I can remember correctly
@@Tjay07 exactly so why are inoue fans keep calling for a fight from bigger boxers when inoue won't stand a chance? And why do they want bigger boxers to dehydrate to 122 ? That's crazy. If you want to challenge a bigger boxer move up, it's not the other way around
I agree with you that Inoue keeps his opponents from getting their rhythm during the rounds. Nery being young and strong will be the best Inoue will face come fight night with exception of Donaire's experience. While I don't think Nery will win, it will be an interesting and tactical fight. Nery likes to throw lots of punches/combinations as well, he is also willing to exchange punches while his opponent is throwing punches. Inoue will have the same opportunity Figueroa got, Nery's lapse in defense. I see a clean head or body shot head stoppage.
Facts, inoue don’t need to go up in weight to prove anything. He’s already better than 99% of boxers today! Canelo and Crawford are the only two that’s on inoue’s level! Everyone else is still coming up and need to prove themself!

One of the most talented fighters of this decade if he can go up to 135 and beat all those champs. He might go down as the greatest
He don't need to go to 135 to be the greatest he already is better than anybody at 135 lol
He would be really undersized at 135 though
That's a crazy statement he is not better than the top boxers at 135😂

@Theboxingdungeon that's the truth, what top fighters at 135 do you think he could last against? None

Naoya Inoue moves like Bruce Lee. I don't know why overrated Otabek was given the nickname Bruce Lee, but they should strip that nickname from Otabek.
Honestly bro this is old footage. His last sparrings have not been leaked yet.

His torque is exceptional and he lands at the right distance. It's definitely not only heavy hands.
Oh you don't want to see him fight taller guys I mean those livers will be exposed 😂
U might got a point
imagine he's at middleweight
hed have to build a lot of muscle and fat for that
Maybe Benavidez fast version
He won't make it
I would love to see Lomachenko come back down to 126 and fight Inoue
Yes great fight probably never happened doe
loma the only guy i see capable of beating inoue
