Wow, you played so much of the game already, even though that boss at the end is a pain, but hopefully you come back to it refreshed and more prepared.
There are auto health using chips that you can get that basically make it impossible for you to die unless you use all of your health boosts. It's a great game, I hope you continue to play it. There's no shame in lowering difficulty either since this game is primarily story based.
The gameplay is no small part of it. :D. But yes. Difficulty scaling in Automata is bonkers. In Normal difficulty you can get hit some 5-10 times by most enemies, in Hard you're dead in 2 hits if you don't heal inbetween, and there are a bunch of instakill boss attacks. Ah and Very-Hard makes all levels no-hit runs. F'n yikes.
Yeah, there are people that try to value themselves mainly through how good they are at video games and those people might shame others for being less experienced but at the end it is supposed to be entertaining so to each their own pace :)
@@glatzigoblin While the game has combat depth and room to showboat your gameplay skills, the game’s story is just so well written and told that I wouldn’t mind if people didn’t bother to learn that stuff as long as they get to enjoy the story.
I really enjoyed watching neir to the point where I replayed it at the same time. I spent a lot more time leveling up before finishing the first ending. I'd recommend lily try easy mode and use auto chips when they can't pass a spot. It's not worth getting tilted.
i tried to play Automata myself 6 times, and 6 times I couldnt get past that intro tutorial, cuz i dont have the patience to start from scratch if you die somewhere. You're such a gigachad Lily 😃
One of the things you can learn by just playing the tutorial is that... you can literally just spam dodge everytime you want, the game is extremely friendly in the gameplay department

I'm playing Nier rn and I absolutely love it. I'm playing on easy mode because I'm here mostly for the story, so don't be ashamed to go on easy mode

Yeah, if shes skipping all of the exploration and sidequests etc, then its best to just do easy mode or she'll have a rough time

Start on easy mode just to get it over with and then switch back to normal afterwards
