Pepsi Max with wine rather than lime would have been welcomed at that point! The guitarist Steve Vai always used to play Ibanez guitars and my brother has one. I've been yearning for an Ibanez bass for years. I love my Ibanez acoustic bass and a really amazing bass player I follow online, whose opinion I trust so much, has always spoken really highly of the Ibanez electric basses. It's absolutely gorgeous to play!
It's a beautiful bass indeed, and can't wait to hear it in use. Sorry that you got messed about with by the shop and had a lot of setting up to do, but it sounded like an interesting process. I hadn't heard of Ibanez before. 🎸
Thanks Peter. The whole experience getting this bass was annoying but all is well now. I mostly knew Ibanez for their guitars because I think Steve Vai used to play them. My brother has a gorgeous Ibanez guitar. I've admired the look of their basses for many years but I'm blown away by how comfortable it is to play. I love it so much :)
Oh wow, I bet the fretless is going to be amazing! This blue really sung to me. I honestly would have loved it just plain sapphire but the gradient running into turquoise is just stunning. All of my favourite colours in one paint job!
