It's true. I can't stop listening to it. I understand Floyd songs are more popular because people have been loving them for decades and also it makes many listeners "remember when they were young", but as a 30 year old I think I will make just as many memories with Scattered as with Floyd songs.
I will go its between this one and 10/15 albert hall. They both had like 1-2 sour notes if your basing on that but i agree this one has energy and 10-15 so great energy with it as well
The light show has always been "on point". This one looks amazing because of the position of the OP ... and that's deliberate. The light shows are designed so that even the person sitting up the nose-bleed section gets something special from the show. I was at Rome, at the back, but still on ground level. This part of the show was projected at a different level (because of the low elevation of the Circus Maximus), but it was still impressive. Those sitting in the expensive seats at the front never get to see the light show - but of course get a better view of the stage.
I totally regret not knowing this song better that day same day. I was sitting on the left side from this video very close to DG but I was not able to enjoy the lasers the way you guys did. If I knew this song better by then I would’ve recorded the entire song, I just recorded some parts and the entire solo (at least) This became one of my favourite songs from all DG's career.
Ero a Roma il 3 ottobre scorsco .... lo ZIO DAVID mi ha fatto versare laccrime di gioia e di emozione pura. Nessuno come lui ti trasmette amore , passione e tanto altro. Grazie di esistere DIO DAVID ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love the fact that he has such confidence in this song to end the second set with it. Super prominent placement, and completely deserved. It’s perhaps the best song he’s done since High Hopes, or possibly longer. And it’s the kind of thing he could only write and play after living the life he has, which makes it even more special to me.
Thank you for sharing this and all the other great vids from the 10th! What section were you in? I was up in 210 and this is very similar... and I feel like I might be the clown who shouts at the very end, I was so excited for this song.
I’m sorry to hear that. I think you need to explore more of David’s work since the 80s. He still sounds phenomenal, but remember he’s 78 years old. He’s going to miss a note here and there. Give the man some credit. I’d like to see the musicians of today perform like he still does.
@sreilly I've listened to floyed all my life and I've heard all of David's solo stuff I'm just not a massive fan. He a great performer and at 78 he still has it
Legend!!!!
If DG had recorded Scattered 20 years ago the song would be legendary on a par with Comfortably Numb by now. This is epic!

This was a highlight. I was there too. Unbelievable.
If it said "Pink Floyd - Scattered" not David Gilmour, people wouldn't bat an eye. It's unbelievably Floyd.
No, scattered is good, but not CN good.., stop it.
I completely agree. This song is so incredible, particularly for this aging Floyd head.
This is a GEM of a song. Incredible beauty.
I am still absorbing this concert- legend!
This is the best one of the tour I think. Nailed it, and the lightsbow is finally on point.
Yes, this is by far the best version yet. simply wonderful.

12th Oct at the Albert Hall stands out for me

@@SuHo-bp1iy no, some of the shows messed up the timing of the full on laser part.
Very nice tribute
great song, great album, great tour...saw him at the Hollywood Bowl couple weeks ago. Amazing
I was there msg last concert of the tour .this song takes a whole new energy as it goes on .just like comfort.numb
‘Scattered’ is the new Comfortably numb
I took my dad to MSG to see Mr. Gilmour in 2016 but couldn't make this one, so thanks very much for the upload. What an Incredible tune!
Grandioso😂
Awesome recording! I was there this night and this song blew my mind! Best live performance I’ve ever been to.
I was there too! The way the disco ball slows down on cue is an amazing effect.
Went to Saturday’s show. David never disappoints. Thank you for sharing!!!❤

Was the best scattered from the whole tour I was there
Royal Albert Hall was amazing every night!
I was there this night. My first Gilmour show. 🤯
And last bro
@ Yeah, you’re probably right. There were plenty of people saying that would be his last show ever.
I was there that night. I was close to the stage so I didn’t get the effects of the lights like this . Great video man
a bit of darkside of the moon and abit echoes -but great like all of P F💖

Wish I could bottle the feeling at this part of the solo. 6:31
No better words ever said.
I was there amazing
Was also there saturday. 1st time seeing him, he will always be my favorite
I would see Floyd 6 times in my life. My son was at MSG for both nights. Wish I was there. Impressive audio quality btw.
Thank you. It's just an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
I have this very thing recorded on my phone too. It was epic!
Was at the rah definetly this song was one of the highlight of the concert
disco ball at RAH was insane.. I was in grand tier so I just stared straight into it and was transported. ahaha
Semplicemente meraviglioso....David non suona....ricama ❤❤❤
Good to see him not ONLY relying on perfrming Floyd's radio staples during the tour...
Like every tour from 2008, 2015-2016 and this one in 2024, he NEVER relayed on pink floyd staples during his tour

206 Row 2. Thanks for the nice comment.
@@griffd2004 Nice, we were in row 2 as well :)
@@rogerdebougainville889 lol, fear not, I was in section 210. A good ways away from where this video was shot
Love Floyd not a fan of david solo
