But, I have more issues with his music and singers since the so-called first era. As for Therion, at least, despite the inumerable changes in singers and musicians, Therion don't do cute, popsounds like "Elan".

She knows how to do "happy" tunes with cutting lyrics well. It's just my personal preference on symphonic metal. I like Therion's "Beloved Antichrist" more than any Nightwish albums since "Once". Dark themes fits symphonic metal well for me...and must have "operatic" grand vocals to make it epic :)

Grateful that I have all Therion and Nightwish albums and live concerts DVDs/BluRays to enjoy the songs and singers I love most from both bands.

This was the REAL Therion, not the crap we have nowadays.
Their music is as good today, but the lyrics have gone off the rails too much (re: their new album "Beloved Antichrist")
You might have a hearing disability, but kudos if you like it now, their last album is so boring !
