My word man, that’s the most beautiful third gen mini I’ve ever seen. I have a first gen and second gen, both S models, and both in the old British racing green. They’re both modded and mad fucked up mechanically, yet still incredibly fun to drive. I’ve been considering selling them both and getting a new JCW. I just have never been a fan of the 3rd gen looks... until I saw this car. Goddamn that green is an amazing color.
Thanks so much, Dayne! It's been amazing car and I just know my buddy that just bought it is going to enjoy it! 3rd Gen's are a bit more "comfy" , that's for sure, but they certainly lose some of that rawness the 1st and 2nd's have. It's all a trade off!
@@UtahJohnnyL You’re right, I keep reading that about the 3rd gen mini! I also read they’re much more reliable. I’m really tryna decide if reliability is worth giving up some of the lil mean race car feeling I get from the r53&6. I gotta change the R56’s timing chain soon, and I’m thinkin if that doesn’t suck too bad, I could get down with doin it once a year so I could keep driving one. Love the r53s, but I am very enticed by the idea of a big turbo mini that could keep up with muscle cars on the highway, and still handle like a go cart on the back roads.
Both this Mini and Pepe are absolutely phenomenal!! I love what you’ve done to them so much, you genuinely inspired me to purchase one myself. Great videos my friend :)
Johnny - I have your same exact F56. Looking to see if you still have your light bar mount? Love the way you mounted it not on the grill... could you steer me in right direction to do the same thing.
@@UtahJohnnyL do you have a link to the performance module you were talking about and do you know if it would. Work on a 2009 also if you ever want to sell pepe I’m very Interested
@@huntingclarkson7096 check out Dinancars.com for the complete line up on the modules. And yes, Pepe is going to be for sale soon! It was just accepted to be listed on the BringATrailer auction site here in a few weeks! 👍🏼😉
I purchased the Cravenspeed Rally Light bar brackets and then made my own metal light bar assembly to accommodate the four larger lights. I also mount my lights in areas that do not disrupt any airflow into the cooling channels (radiators, coolers, etc).
Looking to get a tune in the near future, you mentioned no issues. - How many miles does the car have, and how many with the Dinan? The B48 is rock-solid, but I just like to make sure.
For anyone looking to tune their F series mini, don’t go with Dinan. I’ve been looking for a tune for my F56 S for a year now and finally settled with Dervtech, they can remote tune your car for around $600 and get the same or better figures as the dinan
Thanks for your input. DINAN is proven and has been around for a long time. They stand behind their product and their product is completely reversible. Numbers are one thing, getting there safely and reliably is another. ;-)
Outstanding machine!
IM SO EXITED TO START GETTING TO WORK ON MY MINI

That is a great colour actually, I've not seen the Rebel Green up close. A subtle look with some cool mods, nicely done!

Thanks kindly, Jacob!
Love How it looks. I think I want to do the lights and the mirror caps just like yours, for my JCW.
Absolutely beautiful! I have the NM module myself. Would recommend the NM air intake too if that is your kind of mods.

Did you ever get a response? My same question too
Really great work on this one too! You should do more videos!
Thanks so much, and I certainly will do more vids!👍🏼😉

@@UtahJohnnyL awesome thanks for the info I’ll keep my eye peeled for it to come up
How did you make the quad rally light bracket? would love to run this setup on my clubman.

Had about 800 miles with the tune only, never gave any issues and Dinan stands behind their products.
Johnny - do you have lowering springs on this or aftermarket suspension?
I put KW/ST Coilovers on it! 👍
Do you still have this car? Willing to sell?
I do not. Sold it some time ago. Regards.

@@UtahJohnnyL I agree with you, dervtech has tuned hundreds of f series minis and I’ve only ever heard great things from their customers
it works because it hidden the ugly front of this car I think r56 its more beautiful ;)
