Like how Olive puts her paw on your hand while you pet her. My female husky does the same thing. My male husky is just like Monty in wanting a belly pet all the time and doesn't mind asking for it either.
Have you tried teaching Anastasia how to hug Nikolai, by any chance? About five years ago, I tried to teach Yuki how to hug Saga. Yuki found this command very difficult. However, I did not try to teach this command to Saga. Day after day I taught it to Yuki. Saga just watched from the sidelines and at one point decided to hug Yuki herself. I was amazed by that. I realized that I was a fool for not noticing how easily Saga could do this command.
I should give it a try to get Anastasia to hug or at least put a paw on Kolya. Anastasia weights about 70 lbs and Kolya is about 50lb. She is a big girl. The two will sleep together laying on each other at times. I adopted Anastasia about a month before our house was partially burnt in the Dec 29th Marshall fire and I spending most of my time rebuilding the house. Should be moving back end of next month. Your videos sure do cheer me up after being at the house all day.@@NorthYukiHusky

Yuki usually chooses the couch to sleep on at night. She takes up the whole couch, so Monty and Olivia have to leave in beds 😊
