I’m a Ford man through n through but I do love a good classic mini and my favourite car on yr channel is 💯 yr white clubman estate absolutely love it , love the patina love its “ honest” state think no I know it’s why I carry on tuning in m8 keep up the content on it cheers dunk
Hey thanks I am glad you like this one. This is what I love the car for its story it has to tell. I honestly wouldn’t enjoy it as much if it was shiny white..
Really like this
Love that car 👍
Thanks buddy
Glad you've got it running and driving again. 😊
Great to see the efforts to keep this car going 😊
I scrapped a Mini just like that back way back when to use the subframes in my 1967 Austin Mini Cooper S...removing the hydrostatic suspension!
Oh no! That would be a great car these days…
Brilliant! I used to drive my ‘89 Mini for the work commute - around 20 miles each way - it was quite scary just how large everything else on the road was (this was a few years back, and SUVs hadn’t become the dominant type of car then). In the rain it steamed up inside, and everyone wanted to overtake. But, it was fun to drive, and on quieter country roads it was a hoot. I’d never daily drive one again though! Congrats on getting the Mini going - I’m hoping that if you do restore it, you’ll keep it standard? Used to go to the Mini shows, and the number of cars in standard paint, wheels and trim was dwindling………resist the Minilites and bonnet stripes if you can!
Hey I used to daily drive minis so you get used to the size but I do get what you what mean around other vehicles.
I don’t plan to ever change the look of the car I like it just how it is. But it does need mechanical work. Cheers
Great work fixing it all.
Cheers 👍
Can’t wait for the minivan!
Me neither!
Please set the tappets , it takes 5 mins using rule of nine , 12 thou for both , then it will not sound like a threshing machine . Owned over 30 minis none sounded like yours first thing i did when i bought them .
The tappets are set buddy like mentioned in a previous video the sound is the timing chain chattering it’s been getting worse for some time hence saying the engine does need a fair few jobs doing.
Best line by far. I don't know if it's leaking as I'm not under the engine bay 😂 see you Saturday mate 😊
Lmao 🤣 see you Saturday hopefully mate
