Thanks for the vid. I have a 55 that is doing the exact same thing as yours. I took the oiler out like you did and took an air hose to it. I hope it fixes my problem.
I bought a new Husky Rancher 55 in 2000. It never oiled as much as I wanted. worked on the oiler several times. still its stingy with bar oil. I carry a disk liquid bottle full of chain oil to help it when cutting bigger stuff. Ive just last year brought two 1960,s XL 12 homelites back from the dead. They get used the most. not the RPM of the Husky still ect. But they have more torque. Im tired of plastic saws & automatic oilers. I can pump a manual oiler just fine.
