    Maestro Sardelli, lei è un genio. E' riuscito a far "parlare" la musica di Vivaldi, in tutta la sua freschezza e fascino. Complimenti.

    A really great performance! But what I find interesting is that some arias also appear in other works of Vivaldi. Did Vivaldi use them in multiple opera's or is it the director who composes this?

      Composers up to about Rossini habitually re-used music, often not their own! I loved hearing Benche nascondo from Orlando furioso, here called Imeneo piu chiare, along with other great Orlando arias, like Nel profondo and Sorge l'irato nembo. I guess this is a pasticcio?

      Handel también lo hacía. Él mismo J. S. Bach también reciclaba arias entre sus cantatas.

      @@bogdiworksV2 I don't think so. AFAIK Vivaldi and Rossini used to re-use some parts but not from the others but from their own works.

    È vero che nelle numerose opere che ha composto, ha usato il plagio ,ma su sé stesso, cosa che ho riscontrato in tanti altri compositori. Rossini, sue parole ' Non so quante volte mi sono ricopiato". Nell'Oratorio di Bach, se non .mi.sbaglio ci sono arie che mi ricordano la Nudità. Negli anni floridi di Vivaldi, tanti Barocchisti potevano servirsi delle note del Genio, che non si è mai preoccupato di sapere il perché. Lui tanto, poteva attingere dai suoi lavori. Il suo genere e ' unico. Per me il vero Barocco, e la nascita della musica orchestrale barocca. Lui aveva la sua orchestra.

    musica bellissima con i consueti autoimprestiti, magnifica direzione e cast eccellente ma la Piau in che lingua canta? sfido chiunque a capire una sola parola del suo perenne flou.Ferrari intonazione perfettibile.
