Would have been the perfect scene to end the series on with the story coming full circle with Sarah being assigned to Chuck. Would have missed out on the house buying plans but I can live with that
The more I watch the finale, the more I appreciate it. Each character we grew to love got a chance to be in the spotlight and in a way, say goodbye. I know that some people feel they did not get the closure with Chuck and Sarah, but I look the ending as Chuck getting Sarah to fall in love with him again. The Sarah that fell in love with Chuck in the first episode was still there and caused her to fall in love again.
0:56 Sarah is so happy, so touched --> good to see something good comes out of all her missions for the CIA and all their mistakes and all the unlucky circumstances in which she grew up. 2:38 Casey not liking the drink... haha nice how he goes for Sarah´s Scotch :) 3:40 to 3:58 shows what a character she is :)
there are alot of plot holes when you think about it when sarah loses her memory about chuck. Like why didnt chuck just show her her own spy will that she gave to chuck. Or call her mum and she can see that she trusted chuck with telling about her mum.
Presumably, Sarah would've remembered after he mentioned the picket fence and the red door at the "dream house." It's probably safe to assume she would've realized he wouldn't know any of that unless he was telling the truth about them. She wouldn't have told just anyone. It's why when she says "This is real, you really love me" the way she says it, makes them sound like statements, rather than questions.
I wouldn't go so far as to say they destroyed everything. I get what they were going for with Sarah losing her memory. They wanted to end the show with Sarah falling in love with Chuck all over again, and the two of them getting a fresh start. No more spy stuff; just the two of them. The show all but *screams* at us that she's eventually going to be all right; I just didn't like how they left it open-ended.
@@Emper0rH0rde that doesn't change the fact that they did make the worse ending for the story. They could have conclude it properly. Just a few minutes addition is enough to make it into a better ending but they didn't. It's one thing to make sarah loses her memory and it's another thing to make us decide the ending when the producer himself that screw up the story. It felt like I'm responsible for another people's mess.
I see this as the basis of a Chuck movie. Sarah and Chuck tell Molly about her past and help get her inheritance, which of course would not be straight forward and simple.
You mean this whole episode, right? Because this video lacks the carving of their names into the frame of her dream house. At first I hated the ending but after a few more watches I kinda like it, even if it's painful to watch some moments.
The ending is a continuity error because it contradicts the pilot where Sarah disguised as a ninja broke into Chuck's apartment to steal his computer where Bryce sent the Intersect not knowing yet it's in Chuck's head and then was assigned to him. Another error that here Graham gave Sarah a picture of Chuck while in a previous episode we are shown that Sarah was given a full profile on Chuck before meeting him
Something doesn't add up Sarah was an agent without a handler when she was with Bryce but in this episode she's in training and she gets chuck after giving the baby to her mom it may be just me but there seem to be some plot holes
Casey & Sarah are stated to be the best agents of the NSA & CIA respectively at the time when they meet Chuck. I really doubt that either of them would require handlers around that time so it is quite a major plot hole. The only ways around it that I can think of are: - Sarah has multiple IDs within the CIA that only Graham knows of & she interacts with Ryker while pretending to be a Rookie (Far fetched, I know...) - There are missions where someone else is incharge & Sarah is involved as Graham's enforcer. In some of these cases the person in charge acts as Sarah's handler to ensure that the mission goes according to their specifications. For the duration of these missions Sarah has to work exactly as instructed by these handlers. If this is the case then Sarah's comment could mean that she is done with missions where she has to obey a third-party unconditionally.
@@sauravsaha7465 This last theory actually makes a lot of sense,, given how Graham recruited Sarah in the first place. I've always thought she was probably more-or-less Graham's personal hit woman/enforcer/eyes along with her official duties.
Idgaf about hearing what your doing, waking up sick, what time u go to bed, none of it matters cus none of it prevents you from contacting me directly if you really mean any of the things said to me. All I think is happening is I make an accusation bout you and it gets said whether I know it's true or not this is now way to live it's dumb and want all this to stop

Thank you for reminding this episode from Chuck for a very long time. 🙂

Chuck has taught me every now and then it is OK to be surprised. She got her love and a home....surprise Sarah.

They should have needed more episodes. At least 2 more and we get Chuck and Sarah happily ever after.

Damn that was the *the perfect* ending!!!! Why did they have to go and destroy *everything* after that??!!! D':
they didn't destroy anything
i agree. I actually think the series could have ended perfectly right here. poignant, sweet and perfect.
After this?
This is the last episode.
Who said there is an episode after this?
The Quin n thing people talk about is just some weird AU fanfic.

One of my favorite scenes
It should be end in this episode or in wedding..

Episode 2 or a second Chuck movie
Why! Why! Why didn't they just end the show here!!!!!!
It would of been a good spot to end it here. - agree
And for me this is where Chuck ended for me

Now Sarah & Chuck get together for Part 2 everyone will be there 😀
