Playing Adam Warlock and saying " I am Him" is funny considering when the character first appeared in Fantastic Four #66-67, he was indeed called *HIM*
The things of Adam warlock is not the players don’t know how to play him but majority of the teams don’t know how to play with him. His heals is could be a life savers since it can bring you to full health like instant but his cool downs are long af. People often forget that he is burst heals hero so people just wanna jump in the fight expecting they get heal continuously like Jeff.
He's extremely good in triple support and can act as hybrid support/dps. Timing your heal to give everyone around it a burst is important and soul bond can help you all live through burst dps. His ult is absolutely not trash but does take damn good timing to use properly
Relatively speaking it's pretty bad. Why bring people back (on 10% health) when you could press Luna, Invis, Mantis, C&D ult and just never die to begin with.
I think most people play mantis or Rocket over him as a 3rd support (assuming Luna/cloak ban) But I do think Adam has a niche, he's very good against Punisher who the other supports struggle to kill.
Nah it's definitely a trash ultimate, you gotta put yourself in a bad spot with no mobility to cast it, they get rezed with no health which puts you on a pretty heavy resource disadvantage, and usually it's best case is to tempo rez one person so it basically becomes a bad rocket deploy.
I love a good Adam Warlock paired with Rocket. Adam's burst heling + Rocket's consistent heal + soul bond boosts Rocket's healing like crazy Both have high dps for anti-dive rocket's 1 person res + Adam's full team res It's just winning
@cykeok3525 most of the time it's better to use it to res one or two vital tanks or healers instead of waiting for the perfect time for a full team res. I usually get it back pretty quick anyways. It's no replacement for luna ult tho
@@hovdeep A good Soul Bond can practically give the same amount of value as a Luna or Mantis ult as long as you have a decent amount of people in the bond and aren't all getting hit with AOE/splash from something like a Storm or Moon Knight ult, especially when paired with his massive burst healing. The duration is lower than both of them but that's honestly says more about how overtuned Luna ult is, but a 30 second cooldown means that it should be available during every major team fight. As someone who plays Rocket the most, his ult also has more control and less headaches compared to his beacon, you don't have to worry about a flanker destroying it, you don't have to play around with who gets revived since some Rocket players don't deployable the beacon until a specific target they want to bring back is about to die, no needing to constantly reposition it due to the frontline moving around during maps like payload, and the radius on it is much higher than Luna and Mantis ult so its more useful if the team dies spread out while both their ults requires everyone to cluster up, and sometimes you get people either avoiding their ults, or just not pushing up with them despite being functionally immortal inside it. Also you're correct, reviving a tank or friendly healer to keep tempo is usually more common than full team revives. Hulk makes a great combo with Warlock for this reason since I'm about 99% certain that Banner respawns with full ult charge regardless of how much he had when he died so he can get around the low health amount on revive by popping it the instant he can.
Adam is my main support pick and has been since the release. He's got the fastest heals among all the strategists and he can really melt healthbars if you aim correctly. I just wish they'd give him some ways to reduce the cooldown of soul bound, since it's so damn long. Like landing hits with his charged shot should reduce his cooldown, similar to Iron Fist landing normal attacks to reduce block cooldown.
No it should remain its high cd, it's a very strong ability being able to share damage it does so much in the right scenarios I wish that he had 4 heals instead of two but with lesser healing
@@brandon137 it splits damage received between everyone who is linked. So if you link the entire team and one person takes damage, that damage is divided by 6 and given equally to your entire team.
His ability to do damage and heal without aiming is why I like him. None of the other supports clicked with me but i guess it's because I've always been a dps hitscan healer even in overwatch. (Babtist)
he requires far more team cohesion than other supports to get what could be better results...but we wont know until some formed teams give it an actual go. Then we have ranked where that goes out the window, so unsurprisingly he's got low pick rate (and like OW Sym, has a high W/L because the mains are dedicated and it's not a fallback pick when losing)
Adam main since day 1, only hours i got is on my boi. He was just the perfect mix of dps/healing that i normally play towards in games, and no one complains about having a warlock like no one at all actually.
As a lord warcock I understand why people struggle to use him to his strengths... IMO he has one of the highest skill ceilings while simultaneously having one of the lowest skill floors He does more healing than people think if you manage your cooldowns and time your heals correctly (wait for tm8's health to be lower to get more value out of the burst heals) You should be spamming alternate fire and barely using your primary fire(only to follow up on the alternate fire) Lastly, soul bond... If used correctly, you have a defensive support ult on a 30 second cooldown. You can tank most ults with soul bond Hope this helps anyone looking to play Warcock - the hela of strategists
Yeah warlock is my favorite support too, but without the team up he’s pretty weak. It’s a problem that his damage isn’t higher than Luna or Mantis, but the healing is Waaay lower
All he needs is a small mobility buff, or maybe a double jump. He's so slow for someone who should be flying. If they mess with anything else, he'll become super OP. As a zen main, he was easy to switch over to
I think he is fine as is. For one he actually does insane amount of dps with his alt fire. Like the amount of divers I’ve shred with it is unreal. I think maybe like a a very tiny damage buff is what he requires like raising the alt fire damage from 38 to 39. He should be a glass canon like Zen from Overwatch. There should weaknesses for every character in this game and in his case it’s low mobility and no cc ability so yeah.
As a scummy gold/plat level player I very much enjoy charging my alt fire around a corner then popping out to wipe an enemy from existence. The problem is I still seem to get much more value playing Cloak and Dagger. So it's funny you say Cloak is garbage because I see them everywhere.
When good aim is more scarce, CnD stocks go up. When the lobbies have better aim, there are better returns on supports that require aim and CnD can't win duels as well.
I think I know why his win rate is 50%, and it's because every single time a team plays him, the other team switches to counter rez. (Half joking) But Adam Warlock and his team up really does make multiple "Not Dead Yet" comps depending on the other synergies. From Asgardians team up to Rocket's ability. The most dangerous "Not Dead Yet" combo I feel would be Adam's trio with Wolverine, Magneto, and Loki OR Rocket depending on if you're pushing or defending. A lot of damage with Rocket but a lot of both with Loki.
Im an adam main. Got to gm2 last season and at gm3 right now. Adam is hard as hell to master. I think he needs his soul link from the beta. 8 seconds duration and 25 healing a second. That or he needs reduced cooldown on his heals.
i LOVE playing adam but in low elo, they dont even seem to know or believe in the triple healer comp, so when i try to go 3rd healer adam, one other healer switches i think i need to do your strat where i condition the team to pretend im second tank and switch to adam last second
i think you could put in a little description of the abilities you are talking about during the intro. I have no clue what you were saying or what to look out for in this video.
@@Harkonis stick with your other healer or just anybody else for the soul bond and DON’T use ur alt fire up close, common mistake that could get you killed way faster

The fact that it does take timing, positioning, and have heal off cool down, does make it relatively awful

so good, yes with 30 seconds cooldown
It's just that other support ults are so broken (minus raccoon) that people don't play him

Lots of people play him at higher ranks. The main reason he's not the most played is because he doesn't have super healing ult.
As an adam main I am excited to watch this vid
The black chat box is rough to look at lol
The problem with his kit is zero mobility
Adam is one good buff away from being insane
If they remove the ammo consumption in his right click until he actually shoots it'd be a real game changer
Adam was the first strategist I learned and the 2nd most played character behind Winter Soldier.
