Hey everyone! This week I share everything i ordered from the proxy service #Buyee! Because most things ordered from Japan require a Japanese address, a proxy service works as a middle man between you and japan exclusive products by ordered them on on your behalf, storing them at their warehouse, and then sending them to you in your country. In this video, I mostly utilize Buyee for shopping second-hand on japan mercari, normally a service that would be impossible to access in the states.
Hang out with me today while I show you what sort of anime figures I was able to grab from the second-hand market, as well as some pre-owned anime T-shirt grails, and jewelry.

22:20 so these are called Kuji. bandai's brand is called Ichiban Kuji. the tickets are often sold in anime stores, bookstores, or convenience stores. you open the ticket in front of the cashier and they give you your prizes. there's a channel called Kawaii Arcade Masters and they do these all the time :D
I went to a manga merch store that opened just the weekend I was moving in my previous city and I got one of those buttons/pins from howls moving castle and i got turnip head my fave I was so happy I almost cried 😂😂

Really convincing me to not buy from buyee :/ I've used other shopping services and they don't follow that protocol of making you pay for inspection and insurance, it's just part of the shopping cost.

When I was in Japan studying abroad, second hand shopping was my favorite. I would just go and look around for fun all the time. Still get compliments on things I found there!! I really want a vivienne item too, I'm nervous about counterfeit items though.. I know nothing about designer stuff

Nana is my favorite ! I got a necklace in the box with certificate, but it was also a lighter. It’s one of the cooler pieces I own.

Heads up on Japan clothing: light wash & dry. Lived there for 3 years, and had a little bit of a shrinkage problem. But if you treat them like delicates, they should be fine.

When I saw that huge box I immediately remembered this movie called "The Japanese Wife." It's an Indian movie. I highly recommend you watch it! It's about an Indian schoolteacher who starts corresponding with a Japanese woman and somehow ends up marrying her, though they've never met face-to-face. In the movie she sends him a huge box from Japan...even bigger than the one you got :)

It’s quite funny we find many second hand t shirts in the thrift store for a fraction of the price and it annoys me what sellers charge for second hand clothing. That’s why I always buy my clothing from either friends or thrift stores in Japan
