- Play differently sent me their new mixer, MODEL1, to try it here in my studio. It is one of the best mixers I've used, it is amazing! I really liked the filters, they are very clean and very effective, also the fact that there is no EQ lows and higs but filters instead. Really like the drive feature, it sounds great and it is something that can be useful in the studio as well. The master EQ is really useful, and it sounds fantastic of course.
I love how once she is in the mix she doesn't touch the record. If the channel fader is open, make all speed adjustments with the pitch control and your mixes become buttery smooth like this. Great demo.
If anyone is interested, she's using a Eventide H9 as her effect processor. Don't let the size of that machine fool you. It's expensive and has hundreds of preset effects.
Edit: You utilize a computer or an iPad to program it's effects. It's interface is complex and vast.

kflynt2006 dude u obviously are not a true techno person. Our community doesn’t judge someone’s dj skill based on sex or anything. This would sound just as great if it was some dude playing. Yes the codec used before it goes out thru TH-cam does take away sound quality. But if it sounds this good thru TH-cam’s compression algorithms I can’t imagine how that sounded in that room.. or even better on a proper rig in a well tuned room.. or fuck it.. a massive rig jammed in a medium sized Waterhouse.... how we do it in Chicago. RCF small line arrays and lots of 18s man.. shit pounds!!!

Yes, it is the H9 Max Pedal from eventide. I was using it for external effects :)

efecto gate? la mayoría de la gente suele hacerlo con el fader normal (sobretodo si usan mixers A&H que tienen más punch al final del fader y no son tan lineales)
Lucas Knauerhase se t ve muy entendido. Has probado la mesa ya???? Yo sì y sinceramente me parece un juguetito q se ha inventado el Richie pa sacarle la pasta a gente como tu. Porq la verdad es q no tiene nada de especial. Lo único algo destacable son las dos entradas de cascos porq el sonido q saca es igual q una A&H por no decir q es el mismo aunque si algún filtro suena bien pero si por 3000 e aun por encima suena mal ya me dirás. Para pinchar con dos vinilos lo puedes ver aquí es simplemente inùtil.
además, no olvidemos que es un producto nada más, habrá gente a la que le sirva y se sienta cómodo a la hora de tocar con el mixer y habrá gente que no le encuentre la vuelta, que le sea imposible manejar el paramétrico y no le resulte cómodo el sistema de filtros para manejar las frecuencias o incluso el hecho de no tener crossfader. Lo que no se puede negar, es la calidad el producto final, el cual tiene un sonido realmente fuera de serie (se nota demasiado en grandes sistemas de audio) y que tiene prestaciones que otros no (como puede ser la distorsión armónica sin necesidad de clipear el track, generando compresión)
