One thing for sure, if it ,is not strong enough in the resist pins rod none cleevlite inserts, it will Eliminate itself and rings so, yeah, the smoke is blow by, I would say, did you get the message on Shona ph.? I can’t remember date’s, thanks BigAl California
It’s got the sound a stuck lifter.. in my case a seized valve spring bucket and the cam is tapping it on the lobe. I need to get the valve spring bucket shims and lash the valves using those. I’ll most likely get the dual valve springs and upgrade to the bigger 272 cams from Brian Crower. Better duration and higher rpm. No I didn’t I’ll have to ask her.
5:19 This is where it really pronounced itself as a stuck or seized valve spring bucket
For context 25psi is absolute pressure so subtract 14.7 from that and you’re only making just barely over 10 pounds of boost.
I have it set up on kPa. Subtract the first 100 kPa to adjust for absolute. Every 7 kPa after that is 1 lb. of boost. I had it around the 275 kPa range.. building up to that at 5700 rpm and holding til 6200 rpm. Tryin to keep it safe on the KA trans 😂
@@BuiltToBoost I understand that. However setting the table to 274 kpa doesn’t mean you’re actually taking it that far. I guarantee you’re not taking it to 25psi on your fuel system. That will not handle that.
I also use the ECU masters (the EMU black) and I could make the x-axis read 500kpa if I want. Doesn’t mean I’m going there haha.
@ right. I checked injector DC on a few pulls and at 250 kPa it was at 78% DC. I’m gonna be upgrading injectors. The pump is definitely capable of that boost just the injectors will be maxed out
@@BuiltToBoost that’s only 7psi what size injectors do you have? What size pump?
It’s 21 lbs. you have to subtract the first 100 kPa. So 150 kPa is your boost. Every 7 kPa is 1 lb of boost. So 150/7 is 21.5 lbs. I’m running 740cc injectors and a DW300 pump
