The Cardo Freecom 4X motorcycle Bluetooth intercom delivers impressive audio quality thanks to its ability to optimize speaker placement. During installation, take the time to experiment with positioning the speakers as close to your ears as possible before reinstalling the cheek pads. Getting the right fit makes a big difference in bass, volume and overall audio fidelity.
One of my favorite features is the Control Wheel, which makes adjusting volume incredibly simple - just turn the knob instead of fumbling with buttons. Combined with Natural Voice control, you can change volume hands-free. I love how Natural Voice lets you control features just by speaking commands rather than trying to memorize complicated button sequences. Of course you can still use button presses if you prefer.
With Natural Voice, accessing music and playlists from my iPhone using Siri is seamless. The live intercom reconnect is another great feature that automatically reconnects you to fellow riders if disconnected, so you don't have to pull over and re-pair.
The Cardo Freecom 4X ticks all the boxes: ample range, crisp clear audio, intuitive controls via Natural Voice or buttons, and nice extras like the FM radio for shorter rides. The 4X gets top marks for its combination of stellar audio performance, intuitive operation and rider-friendly features. These are easy to connect to one another. But connecting to a third free com or more is a fucking nightmare!!
