32 here, and my orb sorc, i can not wait to rebuild. Back in the eastern ladder days i had a orb sorc named Hi_ImSpongeBob and a WW barb names FatRob that were pretty notorious on the pvp scene, im so excited to play this piece of nostalgia
Haven’t played in 20 years since I was enjoying this game on dial up! Will be following you for diablo 2 I’ll be playing on Xbox. Your delivery made this a lot easier to understand than a lot of other people making guides or intros, a majority are explaining things like everyone knows or remembers the way the game works. I feel like I’m starting with a clean slate knowledge wise lol
FINALLY someone who knows what contend is needed and how to best present it! No need to be so shy with links, though. Thank you very much and keep it coming!
Originally this wasn't in HD, so I had to repost a few hours later. Still learning the ropes of this whole content creator thing. Anyway, I hope this video helps you out! Feel free to add any other suggestions.
I know it’s been said before, but seriously this is the single best introduction to ladder economy I have seen. I just started playing D2, but played tons of PoE and other ARPGs, I feel this video was SPECIFICALLY for people like me. Give me a direction and give me enough details to get going, and that is what you did. Thank you so much, I know videos like are not easy to make and ensure a tight scope.
Returning diablo 2 fan. I have subscribed to about 5 youtube channels my whole life. You are my 5th good sir. Love how you mix humor and the complex nature of this game. Looking forward to more videos!
I always forget that competitive players see the game as starting when you reach about lvl 75. I had forgotten how slow progression can feel until going back and playing again recently
Damn dude, this content is A1. I haven't played D2 since I was in High School back in the day. You got a sub and a like from me man, hope the algorithm picks you to do well.
Awesome video! One thing I would add is selling Keysets as a Sorc. If you farm Countess, you usually do so until your eyes are liquified and your tendons are looped into nooses. But, during that time, you get a few quadrillion Terror Keys. Trade half of them for Hate Keys. Then trade half of those combined totals for Destruction Keys. Then sell those key sets for High Runes. Save up for your Enigma. Start your Paladin. Then start farming until you start seeing otherworldly dimensions and your orthopedic specialists are using your arms as case studies.
Holycow this video is insanely useful. Short, straight to the point, while being funny (bonus point). You earned a subscriber! Please do keep up the awesome work
underrated, good stuff - i enjoy that you toned it down slightly in this video and it just hits that right spot. expect some viewership to shoot up for sure.
Even though I knew everything which was mentioned in the video, definitely thumbs up dude. Gonna be useful for new d2r players. Hopefully there will be a lot and the community can be as vivid as it was back around 1.09.
I've been playing D2 since it came out, and I knew all of these methods already but your video format and everything was great! This is a perfect video to show my friends who are new to the game who always ask what they should be doing.
Hands down, best D2 video I've watched. Super informative and the humor was on point! You've totally earned my sub, sir! Small note, the exit music at the end was really loud and made it hard to hear you. It also felt like it came in too early. Loved this video regardless! Cheers
great stuff boi! Might have to send this to my friends just because of the blizz grind story LOL

Jesus this video was amazing! Humor is top notch and the overall quality is top shelf for sure! Keep it up my friend who deserves many many more subscribers. Random question; I'll be playing D2R with my wife when it's released. In your opinion which two characters would be most beneficial to combine? Two Paladins with different auras would be pretty neat perhaps? Cheers and again, keep it up!
Thank you! I appreciate it! For 2 players, I would recommend a paladin + anyone that can get use out of his auras. - Dr Jebus said it well - summon-mancer with maxed melee skellies and skelly mastery, corpse explosion and 1pt into amp damage or decrepify + zealot paladin using fanaticism or hammerdin using concentration, is very solid. In hell, if you go summoner + zealot fanat paladin, you could run into problems with physical immunes later, so summonmancer + hammerdin is ideal there. - Also, a Paladin using conviction to break immunities like a FOHdin (or Dream-din zealot tesladin when you get some Jah runes) + a character using elemental damage is really good, the Fist of Heaven is good for single target, so you'd want to pair with a character with AOE moves (like a lightning sorceress or a lightning amazon) and clear almost everything out super fast, everywhere. - Yes- 2 Paladins could be great- I love auradins, so the first thing that comes to mind is 1 paladin using max holy shock & its synergies, and the other using lvl 25 conviction (this would instantly burn away everything in normal and nightmare when you both walk in the room, no expensive gear needed.. but both of you on 1 target at a time would not clear crowds in hell difficulty as fast as the Conviction + Lightning Sorc/Charge Strike zon). - If you want to get away from the paladin, maybe a necro with 1pt into lower resist + elemental character That answer got really long, but great question! TLDR: summonmancer+hammerdin, or FOHdin+lightning zon or lightning sorc. Those are the best combos that come to mind. Cheers!
i hate palas and necs but that summon+hammer will make you ez but long game, orb sorc is hard to play but has best dmg output without items with java or trap you can kill kiteing all monsters too, if one of you want mf you need blizz, when other doing house stuff one can safely farm andy and meph but starting as cold sorc is PAIN to 50lvl you will strugle and depend on team thats you need something like a barb or summon, when you get to hell and lvl on baal runs with barb and sorc you will easly find team to fill all slots
Actually something unkillable like Smiter combines well with most other high dd stuff, it's so easy if someone tanks. Blizzard for example is great if you lock someone in place, etc.
From a similar sized channel I’m very impressed and took some notes from this v idea for sure. I know this video has so many hours put into it but remember this always pays off. Amazing video. Amazing work. 🔥
This video is awesome. Thanks man! I was planning on starting with Sorc to farm Ancient Tunnels and Meph. Then I will transition into a Paladin to do Ubers. You got a Sub from me. Thanks again for this video.
This is an amazing guide. I played D2 alot back in the day and now coming back for resurrected. Definitely good to have those valuable sockets items and lvl85 areas showing immunities
Its weird seeing d2 content that isnt some 40 year old guy who is showing off his build with 200 views just for fun. Its like actual yt gaming content on my fav game and im so here for it.
In case anyone is wondering, some more shells (open socket items) that are very sought after are: 4 socket polearms (ethereal and elite, aka the highest damage class. Arguably the two best mercenary weapons are made in the game are made in one) 5 socket phase blade (even more so than berserker axe imo. Grief PB>zerk for pvm) 5 socket berserker axe (ethereal, for death runeword) 4 socket sword (low requirement sword like long sword or broad sword, or preferably crystal sword for style. Spirit sword is one of the best early game runewords only requiring level 25 for INSANE bonuses. Honestly it can be the best end game weapon for some caster builds too) Bonus runeword: Leaf Leaf is a very underrated runeword that can end early game trouble. All you need is a two socket gray staff (not a one-handed sorc orb tho, unfortunately), ral, and tir runes. The staff can have +skills on its own - ideally fireball, firebolt, or meteor - and it then gets +3 to fire skill, fire bolt, warmth, and inferno. The fire skills also work for a fire druid or assassin, which is also neat I guess. Thank you and your welcome to anyone who cares!
New to the franchise. Really found your content most informative and enjoyable. Subscribed and clicked notifications. Look forward to more content, sir!
I am looking forward to seeing the sorceress and paladin guide! Any idea on when we can expect those? You absolutely nailed this video.. you deserve many more subs. Keep this up and I am sure you will get them! :D
@@withnofiller Awesome! Too bad it's not the other way around.. I really wanted to see the sorceress first since that's what I plan on playing at release. But, maybe your paladin guide will persuede me hehe
Straight to the point. Informative. Most importantly, you didn't use abbreviations. Lots of D2 TH-camrs use acronyms for everything in their vids. It was nice to not need a vocabulary lesson just to understand what you're saying.
As someone whos only experience with Diablo is playing the Wild Tangent demo of 'FATE' a million times in my tweens; This was a very helpful starting off point.
By far the quickest way to get rich is to upgrade El runes into Zod runes. You then sell the Zod runes for any other runes you may need. For items, you simply need to farm rocks (you just click on the rocks to open them). They will usually drop gold which you can use to buy potions which you can then sell to players for items. You can also use Larzuk to put a socket into a magic item (the blue ones) of your choice. I prefer doing this to boots with less stamina drain and half duration freeze. I hope these tips help!
Hey man. Love your D2 videos. Your playlist has three videos in them but one is not available. Did you accidentally hide one of your videos? Thanks for the great content, you made me roll paladin on D2R launch even though I never played one before.
Beginners will find this video very useful, great video. I like your joke about Blizzard, they had it coming. You deserve way more subs if you keep making quality videos like this. See you the 23rd!
I am going to say this was best "BEGINNER" guide i ever saw.
Hey, I dont want you to play D2 Resurrected......
Don't worry, i already requested off work.
@@LordsOfSkulls ahh ok... maybe you can do something else? I really wouldnt want you to play Diablo 2 on your day off..
AGREED
Also a nice refresh for me
At 39 years old, I’ve never been more psyched for a game in my life.
Hammerdin all the way.
Same here, my strat is farming runes like crazy with a cold orb or lightning sorc, or figure a way to rush another account to hell forge rinse and repeat
ill prob start a zealer like i did when it first launched
this time, my fucking computer+internet will be able to handle eledruids and chargedins

Dude this is some cracked out high quality D2 content. Good shit.
Best D2 explained ever, literally all you need to know to play ladder.
You also need to know, that it is not fun to play the game this way. So don't complain if you do not have fun.
