These videos have been such a blessing to me.I left when I was 1 year old and I never returned. that was 45 years ago. You have brought to life a lot of the places I heard my grandmother speak about. THANK YOU.
Good work Dwight. This is the Best Channel in St Vincent. Tourism minister there need to pay you for this great publicity. For Real, You are doing a great job and you show the beautiful Kingstown to the World.
Dwight this is a great video with very good content about Kingstown. I am glad you made it very clear the difference between Kingstown and Kingston, some people still get it wrong. I love the route you took to get into town passing by Singer and overlooking the river next to Stoney Ground which is where I stayed in St Vincent growing up as a child. I like that you passed into Victoria park, we used to knock about there after school as kids and were sometimes taken there by the catholic school you spoke about. I went to that school and church as a child aged 5 and 6. There was a water fountain just before the catholic church where we would drink water after school. Yes you have taken me back to my child hood with this walk. Kingstown has many different areas I am sure folks would love you to explore especially those living overseas who used to live there at one point. God bless you for doing a great job, please keep doing this kind of content.
Thanks Dwight for this detailed tour of Kingstown. It is really appreciated. Take care in the hot sun. The Real Fruit and Juice vendors really know how to advertise their products...and with such humor😄 Excellent content bro. Keep up the good work! Blessed Easter to you, your family and viewers.💟🙏
Block 2000 thats the road i take to go to my house, lodge village.... nice seeing the block where my friends hang out.big up #SMRCS Another positive vlog out of #vincy #784 🇻🇨🇻🇨🇻🇨
Thanks for the video, Dwight. I had to laugh to myself when I heard you use the word "liming". My wife taught me the meaning of that word a few months back when we heard a young guy say it down at Huffles in Brighton. I asked my wife, what did he just say??? She laughed at me then explained the meaning. In the states we call that "hanging out". One thing is for certain, understanding the many Vincy dialects and expressions does not come easy for those of us born in the states. My wife and her family (all from the Kingstown area) have enjoyed many laughs at my expense over the years. No worries though, I continue to learn and love much about this sometimes crazy but beautiful place. 😄😊
Dwight I grew up in New Montrose and my Grand-parents lived right behind The Victoria Part😊 Wow felt like just yesterday!! The juice man had me laughing but he is right tho😅 Thank you for sharing❤❤
Hi thanks for the beautiful walkthrough in an enchanting place. I really wish to visit this beautiful place one day. There is one thing that St Vincent is famous for, which is the Wilson Pro Staff tennis rackets that were once produced in St Vincent during 1983 to 1989. These rackets made in St Vincent are now very collectible worldwide and are famous because former champion Pete Sampras only used these rackets made in St Vincent for his entire career. Many fans nowadays are still very intrigued by these legendary rackets and myself for one, would really like to visit the former Wilson Sports factory in St Vincent to relive this legend. I know it would be a long shot, but do you happen to know, or know someone from that generation that knows where the location of the Wilson Sports factory in St Vincent was? I would very much appreciate this piece of historical information.
