It is a JR Product. You need to have a newest JR XG Series radio with XBus to bind this quadcopter. The flight controller, ESCs and motors are special so that could be reversed. When you reversed the motors' spinning directions the quad could fly inverted. For the Stingray, the props spins in one direction but pitch can be negative or positive just like conventional RC helicopters. Which is probably more efficient than reversing a high RPM motor relatively very short time. But it involves swashplates. Reversing motor method is cheap though.
Hay you guys look at it fly. That's no Stingray clone what so ever, not even close. That's how you build a 3D quad and I don't think it's using belts or even shaft drive... that's using motors you can see even though the video is so lousy. Must be doing what professor what's his name? did and the motor shaft is controlling collective pitch as it doesn't sound like the motors are being reversed. Nope it's using reverse rotation motors... good pilot... like to see the prop design but no matter what the compromise will damage flight times... with normal props that thing will rip!

typical americans, as if only an american can design something... in the end america hasnt invented anything rather stolen either designs or designers/scientist. No one wants to deal with swashplates etc, get a regular heli then... Job well done Japan, once again.
That is the coolest looking quad hands down. I would like to buy one when it's available.

Didn't take long for the Chinese to copy the Stingray....nice though.
