Mmmmm! See’s Candy is a California native. Mary See came to Calif. from Ireland in 1919, a widowed housewife with no job skills and started making candy, and now there are See’s Candy Stores in every mall here. What a success story! It was very popular in Golden Age Hollywood and they delivered it to movie stars parties.
Everybody loved that green wall unit -- also my fav along w/ the little wooden tables -- very useable ! You know -- Zeb's got everybody looking @ & reconsidering frame purchases -- - a whole new trend thing now !
You know it's funny how I watch your channel to live vicariously through your treasure hunting. But, today, when you were a little disappointed in not finding too much after 5 stores, I realized, while I'm sure it's fun to a degree, thrifting is your job/livelihood not to mention the work that goes into having to spuce up many items, shipping and recording video with commentary and all the behind-the-scenes activity, it must get exhausting at times. Just writing that run-on sentence was exhausting to me 😅. I appreciate all the hard work! ❤ ~Laura
I watched another thrift haul on another channel earlier. She picked up the same brass votive with the stars cut out, but paid $9!!! Good searching today!!!
❤I love the Mug Rack! I found a fantastic bag of different colored Ceramic Birds today, on the bag wall! 5.99 for about 8 of them! Brought them home and styled them up! They are fantastic!
I could not wait to get in bed with a snack and watch this one I kept seeing it on fb but totally wanted to wait to watch in bed with a snack 😬 I already spotted the chicken 😳🙌🥳
❤hi Jami and Zeb! Treat people with Kindness! Love it! I have a big Rooster Bowl that I want to give you guys! It would match so great next to that awesome Rooster today! Love the Green Cabinet! I probably need that! That frame with Temple is Fantastic!
I wish I could get that little cutting board. I know it’s been probably 2 1/2 weeks and I love that little cutting board. Just exactly like it was it was dirty nasty and it was nothing to really look at. It just reminded me I guess of my childhood And I wanted to buy it and I have reached out so many times I would love to get it if you ever come across it please keep me in mind and you wouldn’t have to do anything to it. I would do it myself I would just send it and turn it back to its natural self, like the one we had, which was much larger when I grew up, it was found at the bins by Zeb
*Jami and Zeb...L🤍VE the picture of Jesus you are keeping...and the other gold frame, too - it's pretty as is, so I hope you don't paint the second frame! The other wonderful item is the reproduction French bottle dryer...I have one in black and I just* *L🖤VE mine❣️❤💜 So much fun to watch you thrift, and I enjoy your kind, positive, joyful attitudes‼️😉😁 Those new stencils from Debi Beard look amazing. It will be an adventure seeing you create with them...I think they will be beautiful combined with your new Spring JRV decoupage rice papers, too❣️🙂🌺*
The song you played in this video has to be one of my favorites! I need to get me one of those mug drying racks. Love the green on the cubby shelf. Green is making a huge comeback this year and that makes me happy because it's my favorite color. TY for another enjoyable video. You two make my day 😁
It was really good. We’re going back thrifting this week and I’m gonna pick up some more for my kids for Valentine’s Day. I’m guessing See’s probably can only keep it so long and then they donated it. There was a huge pile.
That rooster is worth allot of money. I have the same one that I bought at an antique store in 1998 in Pendleton Oregon for 150.00 I still have my boy he is however in mint condition. Great find💙💙💙
I’m pretty sure I think that oval divided glass relish plate is an insert for an Oneida silver plate plater! I have some smaller ones that look very similar!
Y'all, ......I have a booth at a vintage market and I am STRUGGLIN' to find stuff for my booth.......AND to find shoppers. We are strugglin' at this store...in east Tn.😢 Where all the good at?!
Wow even though its a smaller haul you found great things! ❤ I can imagine how cute you'll make the rooster, love the plates, that mug rack is cool, liked the gravy boat.. the frame is so pretty..oh and the cute green shelf! Fun to watch..so satisfying to see you thrifting while I'm staying home in our big rains here! Not going out anywhere!
@kaihandren9309 thank you! In the past 24 hours we had 6 inches of rain & it's still raining! But we're fine! Thanks for your kind thoughts🤗💕I feel bad for all the evacuated people & ones who had severe damage. We in Cali are not used to this!
When you are shopping do you look for stuff that you like or do you look for things that you think your customers would like! I think as a business owner you would want to buy something that you’re customers would want to buy! But what I hear you say is this what I like.
Both. Of it’s something I wouldn’t put in my shop because it’s not my style I pretty much almost never buy it. Because I want my store to be pretty. There are somethings I put online only and keep in the back. But mostly in my shop I have a style I keep. It’s kinda like pottery barn has a style and magnolia home etc. it’s not just resale it’s also design.
If you need me to Thrift in Ogden For yah, I will! I was at Savers today, and saw so many things you would Love! I would go by something and say to myself, Jami and Zeb would love that!
I would not eat candy from goodwill around here. I don't know what they use in the stores but there is a very very extremely strong smell in all of them. I think it would affect the taste.
Jami I don’t know if I am supposed to ask you this or send to Your Customer Services, I just got My Paint, it is so beautiful, I also got black Wax , I have got the white wax from you all before also, but one piece was a pot that was painted Peddle Pusher , I put the black wax on it, and there was only design at the bottom, so the top didn’t come out to good, can u repair on the black wax, Thank you , but my candle holders turned out great, I think I used to much Black wax, From Louisville Kentucky 👋
If y’all ever find a little fat, chunky cutting board with little legs on it, please keep me in mind you don’t even have to do anything to it. I would accept it and buy it like you found it.
I had been watching a different thrift flipper and she found beautiful small artwork with Jesus on it. She proceeded to paint over Jesus and up cycle the items. They were her to do with as she pleased, but it didn't sit right with me, not that it's any of my business, but it made me wonder about that lady and I chose not to watch her videos anymore. I unsubscribed from her channel and I'm glad I found y'all. 💖

Do you know the name of the song and singer?
I think the bottom of the lid was at the first store.
I know you two try to limit how much you buy that needs to be painted, but I get excited knowing I get to watch you do something amazing with it all!❤
Thankyou for taking us along with you thrifting! The green shelf and ornate frames are really great.
Love thrifting with y’all. Wish I had stores in my hometown. We’re too little 🙄😳👍👍💕💕
I bought two plates last week similar to the ones just thrifted today. I love the weight of them and the colors 🤍🩷🤍

I am not sure we downloaded it off Epidemic sound to our music files and it didn’t save that info to the file.

The candy was from a Calvary chapel thrift store. Definitely I wouldn’t eat it from Goodwill.

You should always clear wax before the black wax. You should be able to remove some of the black wax with clear wax and use it like an eraser.
Hi love the thrift videos, very interested in challenge is there a link to Jenn’s channel thanks 🙏
She’s more active on Facebook. But here is her TH-cam channel - youtube.com/@rusticrehabsbyjendunne4542?si=tShkD9Ww-DqE_avI

I thought rosters were on the way out
No one told me.
Lol I'm all about the rooster so keep it going
Just wanting to know what test framing means. Plus you have very organized thrift stores in your area
To see if the frame will work for the print.
Well thanks for replying just found you and enjoyed watching you guys are naturals on camera
❤❤❤
Goodwill pricing is getting NUTS.

This is why I never never buy from so-called antiques,
The go but this shut for nothing. Then resale it for 3 times they bought it for
What a joke!!
You can always go the same places as the resellers. It’s why we share what we do. So others can find their own treasures. Thanks for stopping by😍
