I get a better color match by using a piece of the stone to mix it on . I stopped using cardboard because of the yellow tinting. Couldn’t get the color right with cardboard.
Hi! Nice vid! Just saing that maybe the Titanium is not the right products for visible joints, cause it's super fast and super strong Vynilester mastic (not epoxy) and couse of his nature, it can turn little bit pink wile is reacting. I strongly advice you to use ELIOX by TENAX, it's gonna take 3.5 hours to react but the clearnes and low yellowing features are amazing!
Thanks for info. I would be willing to give any product a try. With such a long bonding time of 3.5 hrs how do you work that into your install? I know with any product the less harder you use the less color change but the issue is that I wait for my seam to set before doing any other work on job so that it dries lvl. Lol some of the homes I do walking on the Floor moves everuthing.
Has nothing to do with the cardboard, you can mix it on a scrap piece of the stone and have the same color. It's a good thought, but I have done it every way you can imaging and as long as I use k bond elite with the correct amount of harder and pigment I can get a good color match on any shade of white without any yellowing while using cardboard to mix on.
Could be the dye or ink coming out of the cardboard . I use laminate floor board cuttings . You could do a two way experiment . Interesting .

I have never had yellow tinting with cardboard, EVER.

3.5 set time isn't really usable is it??
Yellow from the cardboard? Those are strong chemicals that can easily strip the tannin from the cardboard u are using.
