Queen Helene is an oldie, but a goody!
I'm aging myself here...I have been using Queen Helene Cholesterol conditioner since 1989 at age 16. I'm 51 now and will never stop! ❤ It does everything I need it to do. The smell is pleasant to me.
Edit: You are right. I don't see this as a moisturizer, as much as I see it as a strengthener. For a moisturizer, my go-to is Luster's Pink Oil Moisturizer, another oldie but goodie, that I will never stop using ☺️
I use it with Olive or Almond oil. I follow up with a heating cap for 20 minutes. This combination works great on my hair.
I used to be a shampoo girl back in the day. We used to use the LeKair cholesterol Plus ( Orange color) conditioner. Makes it easy to detangle and very soft. It kept our hair healthy.
I live by this stuff. It’s been a part of my regime for three years now.
This used to be my mom’s go to product for us when I was a kid
My mom also used this on me and my siblings hair. She also used the hot oil treatment.
This product is a staple in my house and has been since I was a kid
I bought this the other day and was looking for a more recent review of this product that wasn’t months or years old. I am so glad you did this. Love your videos keep it up
Thank you 😘
I'm glad she did a cholesterol review as well even though it's old folk, like me🙄😏
It's really bomb if used on soaking wet hair. Them directions must of been for clear ppl
Lmao I wanted to use it as instructed but I definitely needed water. No way 😭
I love this product. I use this for my natural clients. It’s very moisturizing. It leaves the hair soft and shiny. I even enjoy it on my hair.❤❤
Cholesterol is such a strong protein conditioner. It’s best for relaxed hair and will fade colored hair so bad in my opinion. My tip for using Cholesterol is heat. Put how much you’re going to use in a heat safe bowl along with an humectant oil, preferably JBCO or Argan oil to draw in moisture. Mix thoroughly and throw it in the microwave for 30-40sec or until a smooth consistency and then apply. OR mix it with an ultra hydrating rinse out conditioner, just a medium scoop for added protein, then apply. Is it a task? Yes. Does it work? Yes.
I was really contemplating getting a cholesterol deep conditioner for my relaxed hair, was quite skeptical because I don't see alot of reviews on cholesterol, I mostly see that of hair mayonnaise. I want to get the ORS hair cholesterol and do you think it's okay as a protein tx itself?
And can someone still add mayonnaise to the cholesterol for high protein level? Or a relaxed hair girlie can just stick with cholesterol product?
This is Gonna b so Helpful HG🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Wednesday😀…..
Queen helene deep conditioner are great😊
I like the deep conditioners😊
I love this I'm a "bleached natural" and I use it to detangle on soaking wet hair and in my daughter hair who is 6 on damp hair
Queen Helen is the best!
Maybe you should have used the warmer water.
I love it! Looking now to buy more. When I wore a perm it was good and now I am natural, it’s even better!
Thanks for your honesty.
Queen Helen Super cholesterol make the hair very soft n full of moisture
I’ve never used this before .. thank you for sharing 🥰💙
Gorgeous hair ❤❤❤
❤❤ haven’t used that since I was a kid
Crazy thing is I never even saw this product growing up. Unless I just simply don’t remember it 😭
@@HazelGoddesss oh no I definitely remember using this and it smelled like carrots
I used to always use cholesterol back in the day and it did give strength to my hair. I liked it for that. I have a jar I need to dust off and use lol. If I use it I will probably use a moisturizing conditioner after.
Honey, I as well but make sure to check dates very important products get old n damage hair. Saw a video sis must have used an outdated product ruined her growth, sad but true. Thanks for sharing👍😏
@hopefuls3976 That’s true. Thanks for the reminder. I went through some things yesterday and threw some out but probably need to throw more. I’m guilty of using expired products.
@hopefuls3976 I wonder how old is too old? I have so many products I hate to throw out.
@@Honey_Vee79
My son says once it's passed the expiration date that's it, he was trained on expired items. He's always reminding me about dates. Thanks for sharing, just thought you would like to know😏
@@hopefuls3976 Oh man I’m screwed lol. I use stuff wayyyy past the expiration dates. Just being honest. Thanks for the concern though. I know it’s not the best thing to do but I been doing it so long.
Happy Wednesday 😊
Happy Wednesday
I haven't used this product. I used their orange conditioner product many moons ago.
