Breaching a burglar bar

This is another example of utilizing Roman Tactical's "Mini-Breacher," to force open a standard size burglar bar. The burglar bar was secured by way of a deadbolt and door knob. This type of burglar bar goes for approximately $180 at Home Depot or Lowes. The reason the tool was placed between the deadbolt and door knob was because of the toll being small/short. That way, force could be evenly distributed between both mechanisms. The lip on the burglar bar allowed for more leverage also, as opposed to prying above the deadbolt. Stay solid, stay real.

That's what I have on my door. I suspected it was probably that easy. Have to wonder why the door company doesn't make that solid metal part wrap around the side?
Of course, how hard can it be to punch through that metal screen to flip the handle on the backside of the dead bolt?
The bottom line is any lock can be defeated given enough time. I'm thinking a big barking dog is the best overall security. Covers all doors and windows all at once.
