The Fireman snapped back "And whom was dozing off away from the coaling station, hmmmm?" Gordon had to concede, it was much his fault more than his crew.
James and Jordan: Really Gordon you were supposed to remind your crew but at least you didn't have a crash though
The driver and fireman looked at Gordon surprised! They both look at their hands and leaned out the cab window, "ya know, your right..."
It’s really Gordon’s crews fault for not filling Gordon’s tender with coal 😂
A few thomas stories are kind of like this formula. For example: Donald's driver: This wouldn't have happened if you were working with Douglas!
Donald: No, this wouldn't have happened if you'd have applied my brakes and done your job!
@@Mike-77-YT yeah but even so technically it wasn’t really Gordon’s fault for not getting coal.
@@COBO2 yeah its not like he really has any control. lots of times the engines get blamed for stuff like this but its really the crew that are in control of the trains not the engines themselves
Gordon was a good substitute for Henry, he's the fastest Engine
Thomas nominating Gordon to pull the Flying Kipper had me laughing hard. I just love it when Gordon is told to do something he doesn't like. And I would have totally done the same thing if neither James nor Henry aren't able to. He needs to know his place sometimes.
Gordon got lucky. Usually Henry runs into a disaster when it comes to the flying kipper.

Wow, nothing terribly wrong happened with the Kipper this time! I guess Gordon IS good for this train! All that happened was that he forgot to take on coal, which was an easy fix. Normally a train always crashes with it, like in the debut episode, Fish, Something in the Air, and that one season 18 episode whose name I forgot.
The debut episode is called The Flying Kipper

@@TheBallWithTheShield Thomas's cab windows have no yellow outlines, His lamp irons are missing and his eyebrows are different.

It's actually quite interesting how Gordon enjoyed pulling The Flying Kipper.
This was a great story adaptation to the old series! Good work.
Though I always used to wonder about this as a kid. For example
Why was it Gordon’s fault for not getting coal? If anything it was his driver and fireman’s job to ensure he had enough coal.
I never understood why a lot of the blame never went towards the people operating them in the series. 🤔
Regardless Thomas and friends will always be a timeless classic! Keep up the stories! 😊
Despite Gordon minor screw up he did make up for lost time and is one of the reason why the fat controller assigned him the flying kipper

Umm there seems to be a real world plot-hole: Murdoch’s class had a huge issue with passenger runs apart toy they ran passed the speed limit without anybody noticing due to how smooth they ran. They were too unsafe for passenger runs.

Driver and Fireman! That was your own fault! YOU'RE the ones who are supposed to shovel the coal into him before he set off! That's how it works, you know that! Besides, perhaps BOTH of you two had dozed off along with him and forgot to do your JOBES! Engines don't move on their own without their crews, you know that as well, of course. Do it right!

@@themillerstation maybe but the reason was based on the fact that murdoch’s class was too unsafe for passenger trains they moved so fast beyond the speed limit without anyone noticing. Apparently they didn’t have speedometers for steam locomotives back in the day.
