It seems all the members of the band had a very nice time together ! They felt well, were in a great mood, so not surprising they have made the great music. It has long been established the New Orleans Jazz touched the hearts of people all over the whole world. What I am doing is just downloading all the songs from this nice happening at Shinjyuku of Nov. 12. 2017 - to secure them on disk. Many thanks for sharing and do keep posting. LTA.
@ Peter Allmand The clarinetist's given name is Mikiko. The Japanese put the family name first, and that's how the players are listed in the personnel. The slide guy is probably a guest artist sitting in, and he's pretty good.
@@howiesmith1504 Correct about the name, but it is of course Makiko and not Mikiko. She is clearly one of the best N.O. clarinetists in the world today. I don't understand why she is not more famous.
Tamura Makiko is one of the best clarinetist I've listened to in last few years. Thanks for sharing.
Now I have a reason to go to Japan: Tamara!!!
Merveilleuse version de Corrine Corrina ! Bravo à tous et, notamment, à Tamura Makiko !
Well done ,and blessings from New Zealand
Monty Ian and ACKER and especially George Lewis would be pleased that the young are continuing to play New Orleans music
I see that New Orleans gave their music to the whole world.
