Interesting tidbit, Gold Coast first ever AFL win was a come from behind win over Port at footy park in 2011 but they've never beaten them ANYWHERE since!

As a crows fan I think we need to give Nicks next year. Sounds like we are being linked to a few solid assistant coaches and losing rahily was massive
If we are poor again next year he’s gone

Like this. Either he goes or revamp the assistant coaches

@@daztalksfooty we looked good last year, I just think we need to try reshuffle the coaches and then assess again, we looked improved and have gone massively backwards. Our forward line was shocking start of the season

Reckon we getting a 'What the hell is happening at Collingwood?' video next week now that they've lost to Geelong?

@@daztalksfooty I'll take it as a yes. All in for the downfall of Collingwood, especially when they go down the one time I needed them to win. 😁

yes, i agree that freo need the win more, but i also think that seeing as we're playing down in tassie, we're in with a real chance.

I'd say Collingwood, Melbourne and Brisbane. Both need the win as much as each other but I put the Loins in just because of the cheaper kill and that it's meant to be Brisbane's year (if they miss finals that Vegas trip is going to be the new Gold Coast camp)
On my Crows, I think it's a little early on Nicksy and his position. But come round 5 next season it's on for young and old if they're looking poor. Against the Saints it's bloody hard to separate. The Saints have an age demographic that suggests they're meant to be good. Saints fans always say we're doing them dirty when we pick them to miss finals then we get this. I can't split them but that's perhaps bias

Brisbane fan here, and I think there is a scarily good chance that West Coast can win against Brisbane
When looking at history, teams travelling interstate against a team's first time with a caretaker coach have a 3-7 record (including a bye) from the last 11 games (including THAT Brisbane Carlton game in 2019 after Bolton got sacked, where Cripps tore us a new one).
Another thing is that the main criticism for Brisbane in the Crows game was that they failed to defend the Crows from transition. The last thing you want is knowing that Jack Payne is out for 6 weeks and Starcevich is out for this game thanks to Rankine's hit.
So I am willing to accept a Brisbane win by any margin, preferably by a couple of goals, but I won't really complain. If we do manage to somehow smack West Coast, it will be a bigger feat than people will think.
Also we have only beaten West Coast in WA 3 out of 13 times in our history, with our last win being in 2010...

Yes Bombers won, but beating a very off Collingwood that is very easy to see that there is something off about them, by only 12 points is still not much proof in my eyes, and cats fan here but I still think we are pretenders.
