I’m so sorry for your losses, I hope you’re both doing ok. Hopefully things will get better for you soon. Nolan is such a sweetie! Curly hair is cute but it can be a real monster to manage. The only way I’ve found to manage it is to divide the hair into layers and comb through them. I usually start from the bottom using a very wide toothed comb and some detangler and then switch to a toothbrush Or baby brush afterwards. Not sure if it will help with Nolan but maybe it’s worth a shot?
I wet it a little then brush it and comb it. Just a little water. Then I use a little tooth brush to brush it. To maintain it .Mine has moe hair. I also may get bonnet for mine. So It cant get tangled. Sometimes lol
Ok so I figure it out. Mine has mohair. So half water and a little conditioner. Shake it up in a spray bottle real well. Spray just a little. It goes a long way. It helped me get all her tangle out with the brush. I didn’t even need the baby comb. Let it dry. It holds the style forever. Make sit real easy to brush her hair back to the style. If she rolls around during play times ❤️

Try a good detangler and use a little pick...not a brush
